I don’t recommend them. They’ve screwed up so many times and didn’t want to help fix their mistakes. They sent closing payments to the wrong people and made us figure it out and refused to acknowledge their mistakes until our mortgage guy got involved. Also, they don’t respond to emails thankfully we’re with another title company. Thank the lord

Took a Continuing Education Class taught by Jax Petty. It was the Mandatory Residential Class for my Realtor license. Made a potentially dry subject delightfully entertaining, plus he dropped some legal advice into the mix.I recommend Jax as an instructor!

My client had a cancellation of contract on the 10th of July and the document was sent and recieved to First Liberty Title. the earnest money held by this title company was to be released to my client on that day. A week later the title representatives ( after 5 calls me from mefinally told me that all of the files for the last couple of years had been corrupted and they couldnt find my clients file. ( I find that difficult to believe as I use dotloop and can verify when each document was delievered and viewed by themthen then told me they would send out the earnest money by fedex due to the delay on their part. A week later after no earnest money delivery to my client I called again. After being on hold for 29 minutes I had to hang up and call back. They told me the earnest check had been mailed out regular mail not fedex ( with a tracking number as they promisedand yet had not been delivered in a week. Their first response was to tell me to have my client wait. I told them that was completely unacceptable and we needed to get my client the earnest money that was due more than weeks prior. I would never reccomend any agent or person trusting this company with their money. Their standards of business are unsound.

When i first came in March to close on a house it went well or at least I thought. I looked up the property information a month later and the name was not changed. When I called the County they said they declined it and they sent 1st Liberty Title a letter. So I called them and after a month of communication I got an email saying it was all cleared up. Then two days later my aunt from another state informed me by email that my mom had to go back and resign a document that should have been notarize ASAP. So I had to leave work early go home to pick up my mom because she doesnt drive and drive back up to Sandy. This was very inconvenient for me and my mother. It would have been nice that if it was there mistake they should have stopped at my moms house and have it done there.

Best Company in town. Jax is amazing, he is always working hard and goes the extra mile for his clients. I enjoy all the team at 1st Liberty, they are hard working and kind. The CE classes they offer are wonderful!

I have had at least 3 transactions with First Liberty. These are transactions that I would not have been able to realize if it wasnt for Jax Petty and his expertise. These transactions were all contracts of sale and enable us to close because traditional financing was not available for my buyers at that time. As an agent having a good title company is key in ensuring the success of your business. Jax and his team are efficient and knowledgeable. They have no problem accommodating both English and Spanish clients and let me tell you that having an attorney who can communicate in Spanish has been a huge benefit for me and my clients.To top it off no other title company in the state can understand and properly set up a seller financing transaction like 1st liberty can. If youre an agent I highly suggest you take Jaxs class on seller financing as well.

Unprofessional and terrible communication. Lied to the other side about me and I had all the email communication as proof. I will not use them again.

Do not trust this title company. They have zero integrity, and are unwilling to do what they have agreed to do in writing. For instance, the Vice President, Jax Pettey confirmed on 9/21/17 that he would deliver a check to me as soon as the transaction closed. The next day, his employees wired my loan proceeds to a third party without escrow instructions or my permission. When their error was brought to their attention, they refused to take responsibility to correct their error and recover the funds from the third party which they mistakenly sent my loan proceeds to out of town.

This place does not no how to do their job!! Friday 8/7/15 we were supposed to be funded 100% come Monday 8/10/15 they said they would have it done it is now Tuesday 8/11/15 and still NOTHING!! DO NOT go through with this company what so ever you will regret it I promise.
