1st Source Bank in LaPorte County

Never go to this bank! if you need to open an account so you can get your money back they wont let you! They told me they want to build a relationship with there customer. Well how are you going to build a relationship if they wont help you!! This is the second time I have gone to this bank and the second time they have turned us away. If they would have expected me and my husband we would have been a customer for the future. I still have future checks to bring in. But no they turned business away, I dont understand, is it because me and my husband are disabled or what, I definitely feel mistreated in the worst way!

Lets address some negative comments you might find here. The change counters are not in all bank but the tellers will gladly tell you which branch has one near by. Fees are associated with all banking if you wish to not have a personal experience in a bank there are cheaper option for you but you will get tired of just being a number in time. I have banked here for 13 years and have nothing but praise for everyone that works in this specific branch. Any problem I have they are always willing to help and time I need to know the rate on a loan they are always a phone call away. You can count on the people here and would recommend 1st source to anyone.

Great bank

Banked with 1st Source for a Long time, I gave up too many fees and just got tired of the bank. I use Amex Prepaid Card and Chime bank instead so much cheaper.

Always nice employees and they recognize me whenever I visit.

What type of bank does not keep a change machine inside? Ive been to numerous 1rst source banks and yet this is the only one who dont seem to have a change counter.
