320 Guest Ranch in Park County
We stayed at the guest ranch to celebrate our one year wedding anniversary. It’s a beautiful location and was about 45 minutes to the Yosemite so it was extremely convenient for a day trip. Continental breakfast was delicious , room was cozy and clean , and staff were warm and accommodating. We will return next year to try the horseback riding and hopefully bring more family to experience it!
MoreWe stayed one night at the 320 Guest Ranch before we headed into Yellowstone National Park and were very pleased with our stay. Upon arrival I went fishing down at the river in front of the cabins and caught a couple of good sized trout! We had dinner at McGills Restaurant and the food was to die for, my wife and myself loved the lamb, bison, elk, and mushroom appetizer (she normally does not like game meat). After dinner the hosts started a bonfire for us and we made smores under the stars. The cabin was very clean and spacious. We woke up and watched the ranch hands herd the horses from the pasture across the road, I of course had to do some more fishing in the river. The complimentary breakfast was also very good and the servers were very kind.Im ready to book another trip here and stay for multiple nights. This place really gives you the "cowboy" vibe and I would recommend to anymore with a family as there are many activities to do.
MoreThank you so much for giving me such a nice memory to my first trip both to Yellowstone and Montana, you have a nice ranch, team and food as well. Wish to come back again.
MoreThoroughly enjoyed our stay on our first time visit to this ranch. The cabin was very clean, spacious, and quiet. All of the staff were excellent, including Sam, who assisted us the day of check in, including helping us after we locked ourselves out of the cabin!! Unfortunately our stay there were on the nights the restaurant and saloon were closed. However breakfast was exceptional. We would definitely stay here again.
MoreThe 320 Ranch is in a beautiful location. We spend our summer as interpretive volunteers for the Park Service in West Yellowstone, so we get to come for the pig roast several times each season. It never disappoints. The staff is very friendly and the food and drinks are definitely 5 star quality. We love to bring visiting friends for a perfect Montana experience.
MoreHad a great half day ride. Our guides, Maddie and Ally, were very sweet and a great add to the ride.
MoreFabulous.so much to do. Lovely cabin. All the feel for Montana on 120x2 acres. We will be back.
MoreWe attended the weekly Pig Roast on Tuesday, August 16 as a way to celebrate our wedding anniversary. We found the food to be good and plentiful and the service to be great. The live music provided a nice atmosphere. The ranch is beautiful!
MoreGreat place to let children run! Lots of fun things for them to do. Delicious food especially pork and great staff.
MoreAwesome spot to go for a Chuck Wagon Dinner. The staff is organized the and the food was good. We had one issue pop up and the staff fixed it real quickly. There’s a full bar down at the water and they don’t pack in too many guest. This was a highlight of our vacation for sure!
MoreMy wife and I stayed at the 320 Ranch this past week. From the moment we booked the stay (including a Covid delay in 2021the ranch has been nothing short of helpful and accommodating. The cabin was excellent, the restaurant was excellent and the activities were excellent. I would highly recommend the 320 Ranch. we will be back....
MoreGreat family vacation spot, easy access to West Entrance of the Yellowstone National park. Awesome home made breakfast which is included of the stay, Fantastic McGills restaurant dinner, tried Elk meat (reservation recommended). Our family had left only with a good memory.
MoreOur fly fishing lesson with Zack and Ella was AWESOME! They were both so polite and patient with all four of us (2 adults, 2 kids ages 11 and 14). It was great just chatting with them in addition to learning the basics of fly fishing. Three of the four of us caught rainbow trout and released them back. The whole process was easy, convenient, and a ton of fun. I highly recommend! Bring a hat and bug spray :).
MoreWe had a wonderful time at 320 Ranch. Fishing, Horseback riding and Pig Roast. It was super.
MoreDakota and Alley were fantastic the horses were as easy as they get. Beautiful views and wonderful people .
MoreOur group of 6 enjoyed the Mountain Chalet with beautiful views. When we arrived late we had some issues with some sheets and they immediately tended to our request and were very accommodating. Breakfast was included which was so nice before we began our day in Yellowstone and Big Sky. We also had dinner at the ranch and that was good as well. Watching the horses run back and forth from the mountain across the road was icing on the cake. There were family games outside to play at night and the guys enjoyed fly fishing on the ranch lake. We loved our stay here!
MoreWe had a fabulous time at the ranch! It is so beautiful and very well run. The staff is Amazing! When we are dinner in the restaurant, Emma was our Server and she is Amazing! We appreciated her conversation and ideas about a activities to do while there. We went horseback riding with Ally and Ty as our guides. They were also amazing! Special shout out to Ty for sharing his expertise and talking me through the ride, which is something I was not familiar with.
MoreY’all made me feel like a Montana cowgirl! Good place to grab a meal! The main dining cabin is beautiful and everything you’d want a rustic cabin to be. And the views… well, it just doesn’t get much better.
MoreWhat a wonderful experience staying at 320 Guest Ranch! They were extremely accommodating offering many activities that our family participated. So thankful we chose this guest ranch for our stay.
MoreLoved the chick wagon dinner! Having dinner by the river with those views were epic. Food was great, staff was friendly and helpful.
MoreOverall accommodations are comfortable. Horseback riding team is A+. Coffee shack (and staffis nice touch. Dinner was good at McGills. Get the steak.Breakfast is abysmal. Ran out of everything before 9AM (and there is not much to choose from to begin with). This is day three and we keep hitting a new low at breakfast.I’ve seen other reviews on the poor quality of breakfast. Don’t get it. Such an easy fix.
MoreNice location, activities to do for all ages. Kind offer of vouchers to compensate not receiving a AAA discount through booking site Expedia.com. Beds are not comfortable, very hard. Limited menu.
MoreI hesitate to review this place, but not because I have a bad opinion of it. On the contrary, the 320 Guest Ranch is in my opinion a rare gem that should be cherished and protected. The concept and the execution of the buildings themselves, as well as the use of the land is awesome. Combine that with an extraordinary staff that is always friendly, kind, helpful and without exception will go the extra mile to ensure the comfort and satisfaction of their guests and you have something that is truly special. I have stayed in various hotels and resorts all over the world and none have exceeded the service and atmosphere of 320 Guest Ranch. In fact, the only thing that I wish could be changed is the frequency and duration of my time here. So if you are looking for a place to unwind from the trials and tribulations of life, then this is the place to be. If you want to bring those trials and tribulations, then please stay somewhere else and those of us that need this place enjoy it.
MoreThis is an amazing place. Our family of three throughly enjoyed our stay here. Come here if you want a break from regular luxury hotel stays. The cabins are perfect. There is a coffee shop for espresso and latte’s if you need your fix. Every evening at the campfire we saw tons of elk across the street. There is fly fishing, hiking, rafting all at your fingertips here.
MoreRented a “luxury” cabin. Do not be fooled by name. It’s just bare essentials. Many kitchen utensils broken and very few appliances in kitchen.Must ask for clean towels and trash to be taken away and be prepared for staff to wonder why you aren’t using the same wash rag for 7 days.Breakfast provided was a nice variety. Different each day. Location is decent but a bit farther than expected from attractions. (My fault. Not theirs)I gave it a 3/5 because for the amount paid, we could have stayed in a true luxury cabin and felt welcomed. We did arrive at 9pm and found our reservation just taped to the office door. Was never checked in or on the entire week. Some would appreciate hands off but again for what we paid, some sort of “checking in” would have been appreciated.
MoreComfortable accommodations in the Gallatin Gateway, an easy drive to the Big Sky ski area. A simple, hot breakfast is included to get your day started and dinner at the restaurant is a pleasure.
MoreWe visited the ranch in March 2022 for a sleigh ride. The coachman and Dapper Dan were outstanding! The chili and drinks were nice. The ranch was very clean and we would definitely consider staying at the ranch on our next vist.
MoreOur group of six booked the appetizer sleigh ride & had an amazing time. The sleigh ride was magical and all staff members were lovely & personable. The food & drinks did not disappoint. We highly recommend this experience.
MoreWhat a gem! We stayed in the McGill Cabin and it was just a great weekend and a great experience. Food was terrific, staff was helpful and welcoming (our car got stuck in the snow and they couldnt have been more helpful), and the location is fabulous. Close enough to Big Sky and yet still felt a bit isolated (in a good wayfrom everything else. Will definitely return. 10/10.
MoreGreat drinks and chili. Wish I’d known chill would be served before I made dinner reservations . Chili was awesome. The ride could be longer and go through a lit Forrest or some thing more than the short meadow circle . Staff was very enjoyable .
MoreOur horse sled ride was great and our guide was very kind and knowledgeable about the history of the farm and the area. Very interesting to learn about! The stop at the heated tent with a fire, snacks, homemade game chili, and warm drinks (some spikes for the adultswas a fun experience! This sleigh ride is much more affordable than others, leaving you with more of your budget to book other experiences in the area. We also had dinner at the restaurant there and it was delicious!
MoreGreat lodging and incredible views. Clean cabins, free breakfast each day, and cute rustic feel. Perfect location. The only thing I think they need to change are the tiny showers. Huge soaking tub, but the shower is uncomfortable tiny. 😫 Its the only reason I gave it a 4-Star, but if youre okay with that, then its perfect.
MoreWe loved the sleigh ride at 320 Guest Ranch and cant wait to come back! Everyone was so friendly and the staff was more than happy to answer questions and take photos for us. If you do the cocktail sleigh ride make sure to stay for dinner at the restaurant, it was delicious!
MoreMy wife and I loved everything about this ranch. The staff was super friendly, the cabins were perfect, the food is amazing. The ranch is beautiful, and perfectly located for Big Sky, Bozeman, or Yellowstone. We plan to come back with our kids next time.
More320 Guest Ranch was an amazing place to stay. The Riverfront Log Cabin we stood in was clean and cozy. Incredible views of the mountains just made the whole experience that much better. Highly recommend you stay here you will not be disappointed.
MoreWe did the sleigh ride and appetizers/drinks on New Year’s Eve and was so good! We all loved it and our driver was so gracious and fun! The horses were beautiful and sweet.
Morewe were even more pleasantly surprised than we anticipated. our experience at 320 guest ranch was wonderful. everyone there was so helpful and pleasant. we would like to say a special thank you to Alexander the bartender. He was super friendly and he pointed out things for us to do during our stay which we did and added to our wonderful vacation. we would also like to thank Graham. he was very friendly and was always willing to take our pictures and play our favorite Christmas music. i also want to commend the housekeeping staff, our cabin was very clean. thank you so much for a memorable vacation at the 320 guest ranch we will be back .Jim & Gin
MoreWe spent Christmas at the 320 Ranch. Had Christmas Eve Dinner at Magills on site. Our cabin was amazing. The views were out of this world. Dinner was outstanding and the staff was top notch! Cant wait for our next stay!Thank youKevin
MoreAwesome place to stay and visit. The food was very good at the restaurant on the ranch. The sleigh ride was lovely, and a great way to end our trip. All the staff were very kind and went above and beyond. The shower was a bit cold was the only negative.
MoreMy family and I are from Texas, and I booked a sleigh ride in October. I was nervous it wouldn’t fit as well into our trip as it did. We had an amazing time! The night sky and stars were unbelievable, the ride was cozy with blankets, the horses were majestic, and the guides and staff were friendly, knowledgeable, and interesting. The jingle bells, cocoa, cider, and lucky horseshoes made for an amazing and unforgettable experience. After the sleigh ride, we also had dinner in the on-site restaurant. The food was delicious. I highly recommend the 320 Ranch winter experience.
MoreI’ve been meaning to find time to share my experience at 320 Guest Ranch in August 2021. I stayed in a king deluxe cabin with kitchenette. I loved how convenient this kitchenette was when packing many early morning picnic lunches for our days driving around the area or Yellowstone. Upon our arrival, the front desk office young folks were very nice and helpful. We got into our cabin which was nice and roomy which I was glad to see. The cabin also backed up to a small creek. We opened our window at night to listen to the creek. Just lovely. The only “cons” I would express is that it seemed like it was cleaned quickly from the last guest therefore it wasn’t very thorough….there was bacon left in the microwave. The bed was not very comfortable (too hardbut that’s a matter of individual taste. The cabin adjoined with another cabin and the walls were pretty thin. We go to bed early and get up very early. The family in the other half were late night people and slept late. We found ourselves trying to be courteous early in the morning as we were trying to get out of there and on the road but our neighbors weren’t quite as courteous. We tolerated it and made it work. Overall we had a very good experience and would book again. The setting was gorgeous and typically Montana located on the Gallatin River. There are gorgeous drives in the area. It’s about a 35 minute drive to West Yellowstone with lots of scenic pull offs along the way. 320 Guest Ranch, thank you for our stay. I’m sure we will be back one day.
MoreWe stayed at 320 Guest Ranch a little while ago, however, we still remember how great our experience was there. The cabins were all very neat and clean, the area around the complex was also very well-kept. It is also a 45 minute drive from Yellowstone which is amazing.
MoreThis place was truly a nice peaceful getaway from the big city atmosphere. Centrally located between big sky (20 minand Yellowstone West (40min), 320 Guest Ranch is what we looked for as we made our 1st travel to Montana. The staff were really nice and helpful. The site was well maintained. We stayed in a duplex cabin, which were clean and spacious for my family of 3. We took advantage of their amenities of horse back riding and fly fishing which were great 1st time experience for us. I would definitely recommend 320 Guest Ranch for anyone wanting to relax in a tranquil location with beautiful 360 mountainous views.
More320 Guest Ranch was incredible, we had such a wonderful stay here. First of all, the property is just gorgeous... we felt like we were in the TV show Yellowstone with all the beautiful scenery. Our cabin was clean, comfortable, and charming. We took advantage of the half day horseback ride during our stay which I would highly recommend, it was worth every penny. The horses are so well trained and clearly well cared for, and the wranglers were very friendly as well (dont forget to tip your wranglers if you do any activities! We also had a lovely dinner at McGills on property, we sat outside and saw a pretty sunset over the mountains. This was definitely a highlight of our time in Montana and I would highly recommend staying here!
MoreI wish I could tell you everything I loved about my stay on 320 Guest Ranch, but you wouldnt want to read a novel. So Ill give you the highlights. Ill start with the service. Their service and hospitality are above and beyond what I was expecting. Their amenities are bountiful as well. They have a Cafe with a great variety of menu items. There is an amazing restaurant on site that offers very tasty options. There is amazing fly fishing and horseback riding as well. I would most definitely recommend this place!!! Id give it 6 stars if I could. Thanks to 320 for such a wonderful experience!!!
MoreWe enjoyed the Mountain Chalet we rented and the friendliness/service orientation of the staff. All the people working there were great. The location is lovely and scenic. But when we went for a week in late May there was NOTHING going on at the ranch. No horseback riding, no fly shop or fly fishing lessons, no restaurant or cafe open (had to drive to Big Sky for meals), no housekeeping services ("due to COVID-19", but all W. Yellowstone hotels were providing housekeeping). "Hearty continental breakfast" was quite meager. Yet we were charged "high season" rates. If you book here MAKE SURE theyre providing all advertised services before committing!
MoreAbsolutely beautiful place. Wonderfully friendly staff. Horseback riding is awesome! Guides and trail were excellent. My only suggestion for improvement is the breakfast (included in the stay). The food is excellent quality but there is not much variety to choose from. Dont expect to get toast or a non-dairy creamer for your coffee. The cabins are comfortable. Beds are a little stiff.
MoreLodge was spacious and clean. The service was friendly and helpful when we needed help with a couple of minor things.Breakfast was simple but tasty and enough to last to lunchtime through the morning of skiing. If you dont mind driving 30 min to big sky skiing base then it is a great place to stay.
MoreThis is a beautiful place I stayed at while on a vacation winter road trip in Montana. The staff were very friendly and helpful. The cabin I stayed in was great. I was clean and the bed was comfortable. My cabin had a fireplace and there was plenty of firewood on the porch waiting for me. They even had some awesome saw dust chips for fire starter that was the best thing ever. The restaurant also has wonderful food and I would highly recommend taking a sleigh ride if visiting in the winter. I would highly recommend staying at the 320 Guest Ranch if youre in the area.
MoreThe staff was very friendly and accommodating, we were showing up a bit later than anticipated and they were really helpful. The cabins were also very clean, quaint, and well outfitted for a trip in the area. The included breakfast was quite nice as well! My only complaint is that the neighbors we had were quite loud (they had young screaming children that were up far past their bedtime, 11pm), but I know that is something the ranch cannot predict. But it would be great to establish some "quiet hours"!
