A Step Ahead Pediatric Therapy in Kenton County

So my son went through First Steps and A Step Ahead. He was seen by Dan and it was going okay at first. But a few sessions later we had some very questionable things happen. We are not happy and discontinued service with Dan.

I am forever grateful for Mr. Dan and all the staff at A Step Ahead Pediatric Therapy. Shortly after my daughter turned two we were referred to Cincinnati Children’s as my daughter would ‘scoot’- she never crawled, wasn’t standing, and wasn’t walking. We would wait weeks to get into appointments and our PCP finally referred us to A Step Ahead. Upon our evaluation Mr. Dan was so knowledgeable, kind, enthusiastic, and he took a genuine interest in my daughter. He asked questions we weren’t asked before and his interventions we so different than what we were previously told. We were given homework each week and would build on the previous weeks skills. Mr. Dan and Josie formed a bond and Josie began to crawl, stand, and ultimately walk. He was just as thrilled with her progress as we were. Now this girl can’t sit still and is practically running everywhere she goes! I truly cannot recommend A Step Ahead enough. The people here are angels and I wouldn’t even consider sending my child anywhere else. Thank you all for everything you have done and continue to do!

My son has been receiving PT for almost a year with Ms. Karol and we have had a great experience. She is patient, yet firm and he has made great strides. Faced with the choice of a long waiting list for an after school appointment with another large, local children’s therapy group, we decided to try out A Step Ahead based on another mom’s recommendation and I’m so glad we did!
