Ive been a patient of Dr. Abbott for years. She is so caring and compassionate. She has been the most professional and thorough doctor. I love her nurse Cathey. Hugo in the business office was so helpful with my insurance questions. Thank you all. We are blessed to have all of you!
Well I’ve been with Dr Lisa Abbott over 20 years and she always attended to my needs and concerns , she a Great doctor and Also her admin. Yes at times the wait can be long but I will wait for wonderful care anytime
The receptionist wont tell you if they tricare said you have to email it to her.Just look at your list DO YOU TAKE TRICARE

Dont go here. This office is just trying to get as many patients in and out as possible. I waited 50 minutes after my appointment was scheduled for to still have not been seen by the doctor, so I walked out. Cant speak to the actual doctor, she may be great, if you ever get a chance to actually speak to her.
Love Dr Abbott, she is on time and always takes care of me.
I would recommend her, she is the best Dr. I have ever had, personable and knowledgeable and very easy to talk to. I would give her 5 stars if she made house calls.
Dr. Abbott may be a wonderful physician but I really would not know after waiting 3 months to be seen for a yearly physical, only to be told my appointment was cancelled when I arrived.The front office member stated the Dr. had a “situation come up”. I looked at her in disbelief since NO ONE attempted to call me and they had plenty of time to do so! Keep in mind, I took off work, fasted for a 10:30am appointment, drove to Mansfield only to be told my appointment was cancelled.The front office staff member stated they attempted to get ahold of me yet I have no phone messages or missed calls. I asked who called as I had no messages or missed calls. No one could answer this.I stood there to see what the next steps might be, although frustrated, I wanted to see how quickly I could be seen. The staff member then stated, I’m not sure where to put you as a new patient, then turning and asking another team member where to place me, the other team member shrugged and said I don’t know. Then they both just looked at me.Let’s flip the situation around for just one moment shall we...... If this situation was reversed, I the patient would be CHARGED! Yep, 24-hour notice of a cancellation or be charged! Would they like to pay for my lost wages or my wasted time!Furthermore, as former Director of Operations of more than 500 personnel and 32 stand-alone units, a shoulder shrug to any customer and the words “I don’t know and then Not seeking advice or support" is unacceptable.How about we apologize to the customer and find a solution to rectify the situation. How about getting up out of a chair to find a competent individual to assist you if you don’t know what to say or do.Needless to say, discouraged I declined any further interaction with this office by walking out.Any administrative staff or front line personnel are a key component to any operation especially clinical. This group ensured that I felt as though my healthcare was of no importance today. I won’t be back but please use this as a training tool so that its not a repeat issue.Regards,M. Hamill
Only reason I gave 2 stars is because somehow I did mange to get an appointment promptly. I dont know if I happen to catch her on bad days but she was always so rude/bad attitude. I felt like she never believed my symptoms were credible enough for her... not sure. It was awkward/weird experience. I did go in about 3 times but after the third time and always with the same attitude, I did not want to continue treatment with her. I went to her because I saw nothing but good reviews but that was not my experience.
The negative reviews here are not directed at Dr. Abbott. I have been going to her for more than 20 years and she is awesome. Im amazed at how she remembers things about my medical conditions when she has so many patients.The wait time is almost always minimal and she is very thorough during the visit. If the office does not take your insurance its very likely because of your insurance and not necessarily because of the office.
Dr. Abbott is a fantastic doctor. She listens, she remembers, and she takes time to explain what is going on and what your options are. I would recommend her to anyone. Yes, you sometimes have to wait for an appointment, but she is worth it.

WOW, everything sounds good to someone new to the area needing a good family physician. The website says they take BCBS, so lets make an appointment. Oh, wait they dont take BCBS and they cant recommend anyone in the Mansfield area. Slacking I would say
Just called to make an appointment bc I heard she was good & was informed by the receptionist, we are accepting new patients, just not ones with Blue Cross Blue Shield insurance! I have never heard of a dr not taking BCBS! 😂
Dr. Lisa Abbott has been my primary care doctor for 10 years. She tells me the truth even when I dont want to here it! Very thorough and Professional. I would recommend her to anyone needing a primary doctor!
Short wait times and appropriate time spent with physician. She is personable and knowledgeable and makes you feel well cared for.
Dr. Lisa Abbott is by far the best GP I have ever had. She is compassionate and caring for her patients. She is very thorough and professional in her practice. On a personal note, Dr. Abbott did her very best for my daughter while she was ill. She went beyond what she could do to help her. Clinically, she is, by far, among the best.
