I was not familiar with Susquehanna Insurance but was looking online for an agent that carried Erie Insurance. I had been an Allstate client for over 40 years but finally decided that their high premiums and poor service no longer warranted my loyalty. My daughter had a tree fall on their home causing $125,000 in damage. They had Erie Insurance and found them wonderful to work with throughout the claim and rebuilding process. No hassles and no trying to chisel them down on rebuilding methods to boost Eries annual profits. The claims adjuster was great to work with. I guess you dont know how good your insurance carrier is until you have a major claim. So we called Susquehanna Insurance and actually got a live and very friendly person who put us in touch with Angie Haldeman. Angie was wonderful. She was very patient and made us feel like she valued us. We were able to save $1,180.68 over our existing Allstate policy. Actually, more than that because our new Erie policy included a $2 million umbrella policy that we could not ever seem to get added on with our old carrier. Angie was able to quickly give us an accurate quote over the phone. And when we asked for variables like different deductibles or coverage levels she very quickly and so pleasantly gave us new totals on the quote. She treated us like we were the only client she had to work with all week. Angie was going on vacation the next day but stayed a little late to get our coverage started. She made sure we got all our confirming documents and set us up so we could call in while she was away to make sure we had everything set. And when I called the office again I got another live person. Wow! They put me right through to another licensed Susquehanna agent that could look us up right away and tell us everything about our coverage. When we called our Allstate agent we got an automated system that asked you all sorts of questions and then directed us to our local agent where we only got to leave a voicemail message. I had called Allstate to check the details of my old policy so I could do some comparative shopping and when the Allstate agent called me back he had to get back to me to tell me about our coverage details. Our experience with Angie Haldeman and the team at Susquehanna was delightful. Sort of like how businesses used to treat customers before customer service was automated through a minefield of voice prompts that finally lead you to someone you cant understand. We are very pleased. Thank you, Angie!!

I’ve been insured through Erie for over a decade now, and I will never switch. I originally worked with Steve, and after he retired I have been working with Ms. Haldeman for the last three years. I have honestly nothing but the kindest things to say about her and the entire team. They treat you as a family and nothing less. My husband and I are both active duty military, and we definitely end up in the strangest situations being residents of two different states ourselves, but living in a different state from those. She has jumped over every road block that has come her way for us, and we definitely appreciate it so much. We have had Susquehanna Insurance for many years. All the people we have dealt with have been very helpful. Any claims are handled in a professional manner. They dont throw money at you, and then close the case. They stick with you until the claim is satisfactorily completed.You may find cheaper insurance someplace else, but you wont find high satisfaction with great customer service anywhere else than Susquehanna Insurance.

I havent been able to find better rates anywhere else and anytime Ive needed to make changes to my policy, they respond within minutes.
