Dr Martin is great and his office staff are amazing. Wait times can be long due to staffing shortages but other than that great place.

Unreasonable wait time with a scheduled appointment. Facility and equipment seemed dated. Information concerning accepted insurance poor.

I would give a 5 but I never do as no one is perfect. There is always room for improvement. The staff is awesome; professional, courteous and knowledgeable. I must single out Dr. Martin who gives personal attention when needed. My gum was challenging and he and others ensured that I came away satisfied. From my observations it is the general way they operate, ensuring the patients leave satisfied and pain free. I am happy and would definitely recommend this facility to my friends and family. Before I close, it would be remiss of me mot to mention the extraction process..Many teeth were extracted in one day as I was tired of partials. That was remarkable! When I was told that they had finished I was in shock. Great job team and again thank you for taking care of me.Blessings to allGweneth Blair.

By far the best dental experience ever! From my consultation to the surgery, all my questions and concerns were address.The Bonus:I met the most polite and caring staff ever, From the front desk to Jackie, Dr. Tranter to Janeamong others. I highly recommend Affordable Dentures for your dentistry needs especially the Charlotte branch. Dr. Tranter did a wonderful job on my surgery. On a scale of 1 to 10 in terms of pain Ill put it @ a 2.. it was almost painless. I just want to take the time to thank all of them for a wonderful job.To whom this may concern,Im very mindful of the power of recommendations, I did about 3 months of research myself prior to making the commitment. The workmanship is good. As for the customer service, that’s a different story. I paid my portion in full during my initial visit. I had to keep on them to file the insurance paperwork as I was receiving notices from my insurance provider stating the claim would be denied if paperwork was not received. This happened multiple times before they finally submitted the appropriate paperwork. In addition, they tried to bill me for what I already paid in full on during my initial visit. I made several calls and spoke to a couple of people who repeatedly told me the person to help me will return my call. I had to make another office visit just to have this addressed. The workmanship is not worth the poor customer service.

WORST EXPERIENCE EVER!!!!!!!!!If you value your TIME don’t come here..Went in for a initial consolation just to see in dentures could be repaired….Appointment was at 1030, we set in the waiting area for 3 HOURS and the staff act like that was normal. Finally got called back at 130 and it only took 3 minutes for them to look and say can’t be fixed, which actually was good cause I NEVER want to go back there, Will get new dentures somewhere else…….

Everyone was helpful getting people ready and waited on. Didn’t have to wait long time to be seen.

It was very busy and under staff so I waited for 3hrs . But I understood the circumstance. The Staff was great .

I got popped in the mouth with a tool that was on a ladder so I went in the next day and the staff was very courteous so was the doctor in and out in a few hours came back at 1:30 to pick up my repair..

After careful consideration, i must remark that there are some remarkable staff members. Sometimes, you must dig a little deeper to find the good ones. Persistence is the key. Just know that this is a process and plan to spend the day or days to get it right. Made a 9:30 appointment for my Mom and was not seen until 11:30, then waiting around for another 2 hours to make molds, then another 2 hours to have a fitting. Mom had several issues with rough spots on the gum of the teeth and it takes time and a few trips to resolve. Plan to stay several hours each time. In order to speak to a person, you just have to keep calling and calling...

On time for my appointment and went to work as soon as I set down and corrected my dentures without any delays.

This was my first visit to Affordable Dentures. I had a long wait to see the dentist because there was only 2 dentists there. The room was full of patients. It looked like 40 or more. All the staff was hard at work trying to keep order so that the patients were seen as quickly as possible. Once I went thru the x-ray part I waited for a little while longer. When I went back to see the dentist I was amazed at how quick my session went. I was in and out in about 30 minutes. I did not have anything major done but others before me had more serious issues. So all in all i was happy with the service I received and the warmth I was given by both dentists. Even though they were very short handed with staff the level of professionalism and attentiveness to me and all the people who was serviced before me showed the positive attitude of the staff at this facility. Cudos to all who work at this office. They showed loyalty and kindness under a very stressful situation. Cant wait to pick up my teeth which was prepared and ready on same day but I told them I would come next day just so I could see their friendly faces again.

I was there for about 5 hours to do a consult . Once I was in the doc was quick and got straight to the point . Staff in the back were friendly. The front desk werent very friendly. Overall the appointment went well

I will not recommend this dentist to anybody the wait time is crazy Ive been here almost 3 hours waiting to be seen. After this appointment I will not be coming back thank goodness I found different dentist. Thats better at scheduling appointment and not having to wait to be seen when you have an appointment!!

Absolutely amazing service. It was a long wait...but they were able to do everything in just 1 day so my mom would have her partial on that same day. Staff is friendly and accommodating. So happy to have found this place!

I had a 9:30am appointment. I saw the Dr at about 12:30. I was there to discuss what was needed and if the insurance will pay.

This place is a nightmare all the way around....took my $1868.00 then said they couldnt do because of high blood pressure....got released from my Dr and then I couldnt get an appointment for extractions after 3 weeks of trying and being told we will call you back.. nothing came of it office quit taking my calls....went in today to ask for my money back...they really didnt want to and told me it will be 8 weeks before it can be returned...... I dont recommend this place ... HIGHLY DO NOT RECOMMEND

Two months ago I came in for extractions and full set of upper and lower dentures. Due to a communication error on my part the doctor who does the extractions was not in. It made me a little upset, but due to the pleasantness and the good attitude of the office staff I quickly calmed down. Instead of extractions they fitted me with dentures and this without even extracting one tooth.It has now been a month since I had my attractions and was presented with my brand new set of teeth. I dont know how they knew how to fit someone with dentures before any extractions, but they sure did. They were painful at first due to the bone that surrounds every tooth is actually very sharp and can be very painful on the gums. Whoever invented poligrip definitely had a calling. Thats for sure.My gums are not as swollen as they were at first and I can tell I will soon need to have them adjusted to compensate for the reduced swelling. I believe it would be best if I wait a little longer to give the swelling enough time to level off more uniformly. To everyone at Affordable Dentures and Implants of Charlotte I thank you very much. I have waited decades for dentures and now that I have them I cannot be more pleased. Thank you.

The staff is great, professional, and compassionate. Get there before they open. Its an all day affair so be prepared.

Well its like this my sister Darlene took our moma to get teeth pulled and new dentures yaw were so good to here and treated her with royal service,she is smiling and glowing, and it made me so glad to see our moma so excited and happy again and that pretty white smile, I thought I would get my sister Darlene to pick me up and take me for some more dentures so she came by and took me to get fitted for my new dentures today.i was a little skeptical about things but yaw were so sweet and treated me and my sister with love and kindnees, thank you for what you do and we appreciate you to,congratulations on the doctor for doing such a great job ,we laughed and had such a successful appointment ❤again thank you all for what you do and know that you are appreciated, and thanks to my sister Darlene for showing us the way and helping us and others we love you ,yaw are best of the best in my book ,so keep up the good work and remember your in our prayers, again thank you.i come and puck my dentures up next Friday and my moma has to wait for her gums to heal and then shes to pick up her new dentures wish us luck with them and my sister Darlene has implants and shes well satisfied so thank you again ❤and we love you in jesus name.

From the moment I walked in I was greeted as a family member. My waiting time was minimal. Once in the treatment section, I was kindly escorted to the X-ray area and gently walked through the procedure ahead, from there it was the same routine throughout the different phases of my treatment. Everyone was so kind and considerate, never did any of them use the salesman techniques to sway me into a higher price category. The procedure itself was uneventful and the results above my expectations

The wait time is long even with an appointment. The dentist was very understanding about my anxiousness and let me relax a little longer. Not a bad experience at all. I would recommend this establishment to friends and family.

I would not recommend this place to anyone go to a real dentist. Had to go back twice in the end just asked for a refund. Not worth the wait or time. You will be sorry.

4 pairs of so called ultimate dentures. In 3 years they had broken and left gashes on both sides of my jaws (Ill fitting)! I then go in again (broken)to find I had been given premium,not ultimate. Was told would repair and not made right! What would you do?

If you have 2 or 3 extra hours to wait go for it . No any respect for your time , I’ve spent almost 2 hours waiting for a consultation, I made an appointment a month ahead. How do you think will I want to get a treatment and expect delays on every appointment?

They did exactly what they said they could do and from beginning (assessment to application (fittingin about six hours. The price was below all other dentist I had seen in the Charlotte area. Copay ($285on a $1400 total bill.

The beginning of the the experience was not good at all. I made an appointment and they called me to confirm appointment and had to cancel. They were told from the beginning I needed teeth extracted. They then told me in the conversation there was no dentist on that day. Okay made another appointment. Got to the office and was told I didn’t have an appointment. For that appointment and really nothing they could of done their lines went down and you couldn’t use a card. So made another appointment for the following day and had a much better experience. The dentist that pulled my 4 teeth was very good at what he does. He was very gentle and made sure every tooth was numb. I will be going back.

Affordable Dentures I have to save this much about them everybody over here is very polite and caring they take their time the doctors over here or excellent they have good customer service skills I have sore one of the ladies over there help older man that came in an elderly man in a wheelchair with his paperwork that was very excellent I do recommend anybody if you want to go and get your teeth done this is the spot to go to Affordable Dentures make you smile make you happy make it even chew better thank you so very much to everybody the whole staff the doctor and everybody there

The staff was very friendly. The Dentist was very knowledgeable and planned an excellent treatment plan. Please be patient because its only one provider and I didnt know this my first visit and ended up rescheduling. Otherwise, good visit.

I had an 8:30am appointment on 3/22/22. It is now 9:50am and I still have not been seen, have not had an x-ray or anything. The place is crowded. They obviously overbook. They blame it on paperwork. Here is an idea, have all patients complete their paperwork prior to their appointment. Verify everything in advance. I am contemplating leaving but it’s like I’ve waited this long, they’ll call my name as soon as I pull off. This is a very unprofessional experience. They need to do better. Addition after being seen. So when my name was finally called I received my x-ray and consultation. The staff was very pleasant. Took the time to explain my options. I was very pleased after waiting for hours. I scheduled my appointment for 2 dental implants. It was much more inexpensive than what my regular dental office charges. Even though the wait was long and they can do things to expedite the process I was very pleased with the treatment and care I received from the staff.

Had an appointment at 9:30am. Was here until 4:00pm. I would not recommend this place if you have a life. They trap you here for entirety. I know dentures might be a process but why keep someone here all day waiting in the lobby? Give someone a call or let them know how long the process will take in advance. Are they affordable? Sure, I guess. But I would rather pay more for a quicker service than wait in the car/lobby all day long. The place is ghetto, slow and an all around terrible place to get dentures or implants. I would rather gum it than come back here.

The people here are outstanding. I absolutely loved Cindy Lou who is a dental hygienist. Her demeanor made my whole experience. Dr. Burris Smith did my extractions and even though I accidentally bit him, he was over the top kind and made sure I wasn’t in pain. The sweet hygienist that assisted with the procedure could sense my anxiety and to calm me she sang to me. The kind of compassion the staff showed is something you can’t be taught in a school but absolutely seems genuine. The partial and denture I received I am thankful for the quality of work.The wait can be rough but you are told in advance. If you are patient and respectful they will get to you and help you. I would definitely recommend them. I had my procedure in Nov 2021 and I could not be more pleased.

Today, at Affordable Dentures for a consultation was an unfortunate experience. My appointment was for 11:30 am. I arrive at 11:05am . Sign in with the receptionist and completed all required documentation. All paperwork was completed right at 11:30am. Twelve o’clock came and still waiting to be call. Shortly, after the manager struck her head out of the office and stated there was a problem with the x-ray machine and their new system. I went up to the desk to inquire approximately when am I going to be called. The response was someone would be taking me back soon. By then, it was after 1pm , still nobody. Had call me. I am pretty patient when I am at any medical practice just because of my former nursing career. However, what happened to me today just wasn’t professional and I believe they forgot about me. When they decided to call me it was almost 2 pm. I was pretty sure that I was leaving and never would visit this unprofessional facility again. . Ultimately. they just are not organized or in my opinion don’t care. I brought this to the staff manager and the only thing I got was so sorry this happen to you. Never did she offer me another appointment or something to maybe make the situation better for me . Her response was to me is that we try snd that she came from a Private Practice and has been employed at this practice for four years and that patients are told that the wait can be all day to be seen and patient all given documentation to sign. Well if this was true they forgot to inform me. Any excuse people imply just to not admit wrongdoing. Finally, after speaking to her she didn’t even give me the opportunity to complete my complaint. She indicated someone needed her in the office ! Within, Customer Service she could have said that she would call me back, but it just shows know compassion , caring or nothing with these employees. I will never ever visit again!! There grade from me is FFF across the board !

Had appt at 8 a.m. everyone was very professional and patient. Went in for consultation and was very satisfied with the service I received. Will definitely be going back to have work done. And the price was very affordable. Much less than I expected. Thank you to all the staff!!!

This appointment was wonderful, they made me feel like someone really cared. They listened to me and remade my dentures which are perfect now. Thank you to Cindy who was so caring during my emotional state, she was absolutely wonderful and Dr. Martin made sure everything was perfect. Big big change from last appointment

The staff was friendly patient and cooperative. The price was decent. Didnt like the Monday rush appointments the lot was full all day. But Tuesday was damn near empty at 2 pm. Tip...make appointments for Tuesdays. Staff was great office spotless and the proce was good

My husband had top and bottom dentures. Experience was nothing but the best. I have had top and partial on the bottom and a wonderful experience. Dr. Martin and Cindy are both awesome! They are very personal, kind, considerate, and thoughtful. They aim to please and I highly recommend to anyone I know. Very professional and want to please anyone and everyone.

My very first time going to Affordable Dental and I was amazed how kind the staff was compared to other Dentist I visited in Charlotte. Go to another facility this place doesn’t know how to match teeth up with your gums! I have been there 5 times trying to get my teeth to fit and I can’t even wear them ! I would have come out better going to a private dentist near my home. I traveled a hour plus sat there for 7 to 8 hours ! I am not a angry person but a I am a dissatisfied customer who wasted 6 weeks of coming back to them and I still can’t wear them now! I would have come out better keeping my money and making payments to a real dentist! This place on Boyd street in Charlotte is a rip off! I talked to a man the first day I was there and he had been back 8 times that day ! I wasted time from my part time job , wasted aLot of gas and spent money buying food to eat while I waited 3 hours to be seen! I would love to sue them since their service is horrible! Please heed my warning do not waste your time or mine going there! They added molding to my dentures thinking that would work but it didn’t’ I had to go back to wearing a bottom denture from years ago just to eat ! And I had to glue them back together to be able to eat they are uncounted not where near as bad as the ones you hey fixed a month ago! Please go somewhere else! I am only trying to save you some pain and suffering!

Never thought I’d be giving a DENTIST a 5 star review but honestly this one truly deserves it. I admit I haven’t taken great care of my teeth and dental visits can be a nightmare. But from the front staff to the nurses to the dentist himself I never felt judged or pressured or anything. They examined what I needed, worked with my insurance and made the whole process literally painless. I had 12 teeth pulled and got my new top denture and I’m beyond happy. Feels great to smile again. Can’t express my gratitude enough.

Im so happy that I could get an appointment with Affordable Dentures due to Coronavirus. The staff takes all precautions to try to keep everyone as safe as possible and thats #1. Dr. Smith was very professional and the calming way he spoke to me during my procedure kept me calm and my experience was pleasant. I will definitely use Affordable Dentures again and I will highly recommend them to anyone.
