After a break in at my parents home I was looking for a reputable company to install a security system for them. I asked 2 different people for recommendations and both referred me to Doug Brown with Alarm Engineering, so I decided to look no further. I contacted Doug and he came out to their house the same day that I called. Doug was so easy to work with, answering all of our questions and putting us at ease. What I thought was going to be a complicated process, couldnt have been easier. He sent the proposal the following day and the installation was scheduled a few days later. Stephen and Clark, who did the installation, were efficient and professional and the process was completed with barely any disruption to the household. Stephen went to great lengths to explain how to use the system and made sure that it was clearly understood before he left. I cannot recommend Alarm Engineering enough. The professionalism of Doug, Stephen, and Clark, combined with the cost and scope of the system were amazing.

Over the years, I’ve come to expect nothing less than exceptional service from Alarm Engineering and Lee Smith, one of the company’s Systems Specialists … and they never disappoint; in fact, they always “exceed” my expectations.Recently, Alarm Engineering upgraded my existing electronic security system. Again, Lee Smith coordinated every aspect of this project in a timely, efficient manner. Their employee Clark came back on his day off to set up an app on my wifes phone, since she couldnt be there for the appointment. This review is for the door access system at Willards Volunteer Fire Company. Jodi was very knowledgeable about the different options available to the fire company and helping us to select the right system. Cameron and Will were very professional when replacing the fire companys door access system. There was a minor issue in the beginning, they promptly returned and corrected the issue. Since then the door system has worked great. We would definitely recommend Alarm Engineering, Jodi, and Cameron if youre interested in an electronic door access system.

Doug Brown and his associates responded to us immediately when we bought a new home and needed help with the existing, somewhat complicated security system. Its a vacation home, so were not usually there. On very short notice, they juggled their schedule so as to accommodate ours. At our home, they reconnected our equipment to the internet, set up our account with Alarm Engineering, Inc., and carefully showed us how to operate it, answering all of our myriad questions about the system. They were just a pleasure to work with.

Alarm Engineering has provided us efficient installation and operation, no cost increases since original contract in 2018, and great peace of mind either at home or away from home! And weve received friendly service from Lee Smith! 5 Stars!

This is my daughters account, because I dont usually post reviews, good or bad, but I needed to this time. I just had an additional camera installed on the outside of my house. I am VERY particular about the appearance of my beach home and Terry was great. He seemed to care as much about the way my house looked after the job as I did. He communicated every step of the way, shared pictures with me, updated me, ran through the system with me....Unbelievable!! I will be adding more equipment to my system just because I know Terry will do a GREAT job. This company is VERY lucky to have him as an associate. If you are lucky enough to get Terry to do your install, rest assured it will be done right! Thanks Terry for doing a great job in a world where thats not always the case anymore. Brian King is always there to help when I call into the office and David Mueller has been great about getting me information about adding to our system. Quality company that obviously cares about customer service.

I have been a customer of Alarm Engineering since February of 2015, and I can say nothing but wonderful things about them! Always helpful, whether its an issue with equipment, a question, or any kind of support, you can always count on them to be right on it. Every member of their staff that I have dealt with over the years has been amazing! A+ customer service, great technology and monitoring. Alarm Engineering is the ONLY company I would ever consider when it comes to home security, highly recommend!

After a lot of research, it came down to a couple of alarm system companies. Alarm Engineering came highly recommended by many people on Facebook and Google. David Mueller and all of the other people at AE did a great job from scheduling a consult visit to verifying the system is running well after the install was complete. David did the personal visit to the residence to verify the correct system was going to be installed. Even after the visit, he was always willing to answer all my questions. The national alarm companies Im sure are fine, but AE goes above and beyond while staying competitively priced. Great job!

At our request Alarm Engineering sent a technician to check our alarm system and review its operation with us. The system has been operational for the 10 years we have owned the property but I wanted to be sure that I had not forgotten anything important. The technician reviewed the system with us in detail, tested it and answered all our questions. He was very professional and informative. All in all it was an excellent experience.

Alarm Engineering just updated the fire & security systems in our 100+ year old building. No doubt a frustrating experience at times for the installers, yet every member of the Alarm Engineering team responded in a courteous and professional manner, while protecting the historical elements of our building. Installers arrived when scheduled and were willing to work around the varied schedules of our three tenant organizations. At the end of every work day, they cleaned & vacuumed. Seriously!I have worked with a lot of subcontractors & Alarm Engineering made it to my all-time favorite, top 3 in part because of Ron, Dan & Terry. They all take pride in the quality of their work & the satisfaction of their customer. That said, I should add, that I never encountered any member of the AE team acting in anything but a professional manner. I highly recommend this company-much so, I use them in my home as well.

We had a home designed/built about a year ago and interviewed ADT (who we were using on our other house at the timeand Alarm Engineering at the house while it was in the early framing stage. I asked both companies to recommend/design a security alarm/camera/video system, structured network system and music system for the interior/exterior. ADT could only price the alarm/camera/video portion of the work so I got pricing from an AV company for the structured network and music systems to complete their package.I was immediately impressed with David Mueller of Alarm Engineering as he intently listened to our concerns, wants and needs and within a few days we received a comprehensive systems package proposal that covered exactly what we discussed in detail. Alarm Engineering’s pricing was very competitive but it was their knowledge and understating that made our decision easy, so we went with them and we are glad we did.Our builder was impressed with their care, expediency and attention to detail as they installed the wiring and the components of the systems. They had a few problems (some were not even caused by thembut they acted quickly and professionally to resolve any issues to keep the project on track.We would highly recommend Alarm Engineering for your current and future needs.

He was really nice and he helped me realize that I also needed to update a different door sensor and some cameras. Youve got a great employee there.
