Ok
In good location
Good experience, visited only once. You can find coconut with water (approx 200ml in it). But it is not as tasty as tender coconut
Most of the shopping assistants at the cashier desks are not Czechs. Therefore, the communication lags from time to time. Otherwise, this is a pretty neat store. The closing hours could be extended.
Albert stores have improved a lot since I moved to Prague (beginning 2016). In particular for their "health and planet conscious" offer. Look for the Natures Promise products for example.
Very nice for daily shopping
Albert was there when no else gave me a hand.Albert showed me HOPE.Albert taught me how to love again.Forever albert in my heart. Forever
Normal food supermarket, average selection of food, some good discounts
good prices and variety of products
Great store, also flowers inside.
UPDATE: They reconstructed and renewed the supermarket a couple of years ago and the quality slightly improved. There are offers of fresh food, like pasta and bio products. The interiors are nicer, cleaner and more modern than before.I usually go to this supermarket because its next to my place, though quality and variety of food are worse than other supermerkets in town.
Bigger and normal shopping, nothing to add if you are with a car I advise to visit some of the bigger grocery stores though. They usually have better variety and prices.
Good supermarket
Best Albert in the area. Great choice of food and plenty of self checkouts.
Doesnt have deals that are at other stores
Good supermarked. Nice choice of what you need. Good prices. Easy-to-use self check out system with English language.
All is great, except usual poor Albert assortment
Nice supermarket
Bad service they announce sales on some sortiment you go there to buy it and the price is without sale and the answer is that Albert has split in 3 different ranges Hypermarket, and two different type of supermarket annoying
Not bad.. They just dont have so much gluten free things.
Its an OK supermarket but only if you dont mind going past the junkies that knock about there on the way in.
Decent size supermarket, well stocked.
Good location, but not as big as expected, and closed at 21.00. In terms of stocks, I much prefer the other branch at Flora, which is just 5 minutes on walk away.
Very clean and organised supermarket. Fruits and vegetables look nice.
Love prague and this place is nice if you want good food and at a good price. When coming from holiday.
We loves this market, you can by almost everything, prices are good.
Grocery store in Prague, they have a bakery department with fresh breads and bakeries
High quality food (especially compared to zabkas and Chinese shops:), good selection of fresh food and salads. But watch out, its easy to excess your intended bill 😅 Though a decent exchange rate to Euro if youd need to change!
closing before official time ! person on the doors dose not allow entry to the shop 10 min before closing !
More choice than the Tesco Express and the numerous small local shops if you are in Žižkov but longer queues at after work times.
Good at least I find some of the things I needed thanks allot
Good offering, good prices, near our place, what else? Its a small neighborhood proximity market so you cant demand every single item. But even so its more than enough for daily use.
Not the biggest, diverse or fanciest Albert i have been to in the Czech republic but will do the job of a quick croissant or other bakery snacks before heading out (if you are a tourist), something to drink or some basic Household items: Shampoos...etc
Good prices fresh dairy and bakery and its convenient!
Good supermarket but there were some empty shelfs
Not the worst place. Shame there is no self check outs thou.
Relatively small supermarket but with a decent range of products. I thought the personnel was pretty friendly for tourists too.
Good market. There is food for baby less than 12 months, but not a lot.
Very convenient supermarket, but cleanliness could be better.
A decent supermarket by Prague standards. Not the biggest and best selection, but okay.
Worth it to visit. At least in the time when I visited fruits and vegetables were of good quality. Found here prepared food (fried chickenthat I didnt see in other places.
Unfortunately it really isnt a good place to shop but visited by a lot of people from surrounding due to its convenient location... Especially be prepared for rotting or moldy vegetables... Try to avoid any packaged vegetables or fruits, be very careful with meat as well. Sortiment would be comparable to any other supermarket of this size.
Waiting in line more than 10 minutes. :( cant they make some self service cashiers?
This Albert is... not the greatest Albert. Staff can behave strange there. I was walking back and forth looking for baking powder when security started following me. It got annoying, so I told the idiot that I understand he is in love with me, but I will not let him suck my "stuff" (used a different word at the time). He stopped following me!
Not the best but they are getting better. Good bread and wine deals, produce section ok.
Do not go to this Albert. One of its cashiers is a racist. I am an Asian, more accurately South Korean. I just asked for a receipt in English to a cashier, and he suddenly made weird sounds like "whee, chong, ching". You know what, a cashier even looked like one of Arabians too. I was very upset, but just got out of there, since I do not want any trouble. However, I am one of valuable customers, who live near here. From now I would never go again this Albert. Usually, I do not write this kind of review, but I want let other people know that this Albert is full of racists.
Albert is OK. The selection is good and usually theres enough fresh produce available. I also like the selection of buns and other kinds of bread. The problem is though that the workers are very slow. Standing in line for 10-15 minutes is not unusual. If you are in a hurry, dont go to Albert. Any Albert for that manner!
SCAMMERS! Check your change!! And extremely rude!!We went to this supermarket because it was right in front of the Carlton hotel. However at the checkout the guy gave us 5 kc less than what were supposed to get. When we confronted him he went all defensive asked me if " i went to school" and started semi-shouting, he resisted a few times until his managers came and practically threw the coin at me. Now I know it wasnt much money but that was uncalled for and not a great start to our trip.
They tried to scam me twice at the cashier. The first time they charged me 9 times for a packet of pasta and few days later they gave me 100 kc less in the change.Of course they dont speak english and i had hard time dealing with them.I dont know if they scam foreigners on perpuse, but be extremely cautious when buying from this particular supermarket
Very dirty, ugly shop like from 80s. I bought meat twice and i had to throw it away immediately how it stinked. I like the yoghurt there.
