My mom has been having leg pain for several months and we’re trying to get her to a vascular surgeon. Her PCP referred her to Mardan. After many phone calls daily from my mom and her PCPs nurse, and 3+ weeks later, she finally got set up for a CT scan ordered by Dr Mardan. Mardan’s office said they would call her with the results. It’s been well over a week and they’ve yet to call so she followed up with her PCP. He got the results and Dr.Mardan had ordered the WRONG TEST. I’m waiting on a phone call from his nurse so I can make sure my mom doesn’t get billed for a radiology service that wasn’t necessary. I haven’t gotten a call back in several days. Meanwhile, my mom keeps having falls and the pain has gradually increased. I don’t know what kind of practice they’re running but as a former practice manager I’m not impressed. All it takes is a phone call to let the patient know the status of her order for testing or if they’re waiting on a prior authorization. But completely ignoring the patient is not good patient care.
Dr. Mardan was so good with my Mom who is almost 94. Very personable.
A very personable doctor. Knows how to put the patient at ease. Have recommended him to family and friends.
Run from this so called doc. like the plague.
I have nothing but praise for Dr Mardan. He is great at what he does and explains what is going on in very plain and precise language. Does exactly what he says he is going to do, no surprises! Very trustworthy. I wish more doctors were like him.
