If you visit the Liquor shop in the basement be aware of the frauds on the cash counter. Make sure you confront them with the latest price revised in March 2022 and your item manufacturing date. They changed an ad-hoc 500 extra saying 120 extra for local and 150 extra for foreign... They gave up the claim when I showed that the products I bought were manufactured after the date of revised price increase. What a sham of fair trade practice.

It seems it has lost its old glory and looks like a heritage building. It cant compete with new malls and customers are looking for more sophisticated malls. Hence many shops are closed or deserted. Sorry to say this.

Nice, but main area in greater chennai, monteith road & surrendering area not clean, always drainage leakage, all two wheelers, parking, nearly 20 + small bread omelets, pan shops etc. Not safety also. Pl consider.

Noted for its Sandwich stalls outside.We can also get cosmetics and designer imitation jewellery from the shops.

Its very old Alsa Mall but will get nice street food in the street. And also in Ambassador Pallava nice bar in the same street every one can enjoy happy hours.

This is one best place eat Bread omelette in the chennai. They have a lots of different varieties. I tried here couple of times. I recommend this shop number 28. Which is the first shop near to the gate of Alsa mall. Customer service is also very good.

Mostly famous for the Roadside bread omelette shops. Recent times drainage water was stagnant in the road which creates the question of hygiene.

This place is less crowded.. it has many artificial jewellery shops. The collection was also good.. There is also a pani puri and sandwich shop inside

Food is immediately exposed to pollution, or in other words you are consuming a polluted food prepared with dust, smoke and other moist particles from the road.. Not sure how the taste is good but wondered if it could be because of these special ingredients listed above.

One of the oldest mall in Chennai. Weekend were spent well at my childhood days but most of the shops are relocated to new malls now. It lost his attraction but still able to survive. Once upon a time it was famous for his architecture, engineering and youth crowd but now only bread omblet is coming in mind if someone talk about Alsa mall; ofcourse Elite liquor shop the next.

I have Bread omlet and Bread sandwich outside this mall. Its a landmark for this snack. The shopping mall is one of the oldest mall in city. Many movies shot here. They have good parking facility.

Well the famous Alsa Mall bread omlette joints. Had Garlic Cheese Toast and Double Bread Omlette, the garlic cheese was very bad, they literally just dump sweet n spicy sauce in it. The double bread omlette was good. The place is usually crowded during the evenings and a little messy. Variety of sodas/soft drinks are available too. And of course, the menu isnt limited to the two sandwiches mentioned above. Range of Chicken to Veg and also chocolate sandwich is available here. Price is very reasonable, and the place is family friendly.

The mall is very small comparatively and i couldnt see any crowd even on weekends.There are lot of bread omlette shop at the entrance,with different varieties at economic price.

Price of the shoes at Bollywood shoes,a shoe-outlet of this mall,is too expensive.On the othet hand a lingerie store present at ground floor is great be the staff-behaviour,price of the commodities.

Alsa mall..... its like a once upon a time story. Famous landmark, located near the museum.15 years back it was a great place of hangout for school students to couples. And it still it has its touch for a shallow shopping experience. A very famous bread omlet shop for its unique taste. The taste is actually from the green chutney they prepare. And inside the mall, you will still find some long staying forex trades. . Travel agencies on second floor. And few gift shops and and prisha beauty center and cafe coffee day.You will have and elite liqour shop in the basement.

We came to shop here for party wear shoes and found "Bollywood Shoes" store here. Its actually a manufacturer retail outlet and they several models of shoes, sandals, etc... Good thing is they even offer customization on their products because they are the manufacturer. They can actually modify the shoes like increasing/decreasing the height of the shoes, attaching additional heal foam, etc..
