Alvarez Dental LLC in Albany County

This dentist is running a scam, they claim to take your insurance but you have to pay up front and then they will submit your claim to insurance. They never do submit anything to your insurance and lie when you ask them claiming the insurance company is the one lying, so you never get your money back. The doctor’s work is sloppy and they are very unprofessional. This is by far the worst dentist in Albany.

Bad service very bad customer service...So after booking several appointment with this dentist no one calls you to tell you update no 1 send you a reminder I call them to ask them to reschedule 1 of my appointment they say that I have to call back the dentist not in today I waited 3 days call back they say that I missed 2 appointments already so they we moving forward this is ridiculous unprofessional..never would I recommend them to my anyone..

You guys are the best and I am going to miss not having you to go to when I am in trouble. Dr Alvarez I think you are the best dentist I have been to. As you probably could tell I have been to a few. Goodbye from going to Salem Mass.

The cleaning i received was probably the best experience I’ve ever had at the dentist. Normally during a cleaning I would feel like my teeth are going to be yanked out but not this time, the lady was extremely gentle and very thorough. In addition, the receptionist was very welcoming.

Shody work, fraudulent billing practices, they bill your insurance before they do the procedure, then they bill your insurance a million different ways to see how they can suck every and any penny they can, they are so unorganized, I would avoid this place like the plaque. Had to go to a specialist to correct his half a job. So many better more reputable places to go. And they are way overpriced! To boot.

I thought dentist were killers and I go to my grandpa dr. Alvarez and get fillings I do great and never is bad

Great place. I’m terrified of the dentist and all of the staff are great there. They make me feel comfortable. I will not go any place else. I love the text and email notifications we get as a reminder of the appt and if they need to cancel. I’m on the phone a lot for work so in the past for other offices I would miss the call. I recommend them to everyone I know.

Best dentist in the capital region

i had an appointment set with this providers office and my experience was less than desirable. The day before my visit at 6 in the evening i get a call which went to voicemail about my visit for the following day. The receptionist didnt properly verify my dental insurance information so she needed to get some clarifying information. When i called the office back they were closed and i could not get in touch with anyone. I showed up the next day for my appointment with my insurance information and the office isnt even open...i left after waiting 15 minutes. I finally got called back today at about 1:45 by the office. They claimed to have sent out a cancellation text. Worse experience with a dental office in my life. I wouldnt suggest using them.
