AMA Med Spa - Dr. Lisa S. Gulcher, MD in Lake County

Today I got my face scraped off by a total amateur. 
Extracting blackheads with sharp tools and without any steam to open the pores causes irreparable damage to your skin. My entire face is "beat-up" as Lacey put it several times as she obliterated my face the week before I am getting married. 
The "Images Medspa" is uneducated and uninformed in their practice. They dont know how to treat your skin properly. Hugely disappointed.

Ive been a patron of Images Med Spa for years. I started in Wilmette and now I go to AMA in Deer Park. I am always impressed with the professionalism and courtesy of all employees. I feel safe and secure and the care I receive is excellent. Im always happy with the service.

I have been coming here since 2015, I love this place. The girls are always friendly. The last time I was there, while leaving I couldn’t get into my car, I thought I locked myself out. And let me tell you how pleasantly surprised I was when Pam and Nicki jumped into helping me, although this had nothing to do with them. Made me feel so good and appreciate this place even more. Cara and Reem are such good professionals. I couldn’t get appointment with Cara, so I saw Reem for the first time. She was super friendly and personable and did such an amazing job, I absolutely love how everything turned out.

Images Med Spa was a very professional and welcoming environment. Anita did my treatments and she was very knowledgeable and approachable. She answered all of my questions and helped to select the best options to achieve the look I wanted and was mindful of my budget. She exceeded my expectations and I will be a customer for life!

My favorite spa the work is always done well. I am at an age that filler around the lips and folds are needed along with Botox to lift the brow. Always a great job prices are reasonable.. Highly recommend

Management is amazing, front desk girls are always kind and helpful, and Anita is a top-notch injector. Been going every summer and my results get better and better with lip filler and botox. Highly recommend to everyone. See my before and afters for yourself!

I had an AWESOME experience here today getting Botox. The ambiance here is great as soon as you walk in. I explained that I had a budget and not once did my injector make me feel like I needed more than I was comfortable with, and even showed me the price before we agreed on the units. I really appreciated that! The place was super clean and inviting, and I will definitely be back!

This by far is the best Med Spa Ive ever been too! If you go here you NEED to go to Cara - she is the kindest, sweetest & gentlest aesthetic nurse. I was terrified to get my lips done and she made the experience amazing! She gave me exactly what I wanted and the numbing cream here is A1! If there is something youve been wanting to get done, I highly recommend making an appointment. Also, the customer service here is wonderful. Ive been helped by several different employees and they all have the same kind energy. There is never any money/product pushing/upselling which I appreciate and love. They let you know if there are ever any coupons or if you have points to use (every time I go I have $20 off without fail, such an awesome surprise!)They are always willing to help and are well educated in their services and products, plus they are so happy and nice! I cannot say enough nice things about this place, they are simply the best!

I absolutely love this place! I started getting Botox treatments about a year ago and they’ve always been SO welcoming and accommodating. Additionally, it’s absolutely beautiful inside. Staff is clearly well trained and knowledgeable so I have a lot of trust in them.

I discovered AMA a couple years ago and love it!!! I am conservative when it comes to injections and Keeley is amazing!! Totally listens to me and gives me exactly what I want, just right, every time. I feel like its a big improvement without looking frozen or fake. I would highly recommend this spa and Keeley! AMA is a great spa with wonderful estheticians , Laser specialists . Fillers etc. A go to place for all your needs with precessional qualified technicians ..The y even have a great skin care line.The staff is knowledgeable and give options on all of your questions and needs ... You can visit and trust without hesitation.. They have amazing monthly packages that are great .. I wound never going anywhere else !! Antje and Anita are my go to technicians . Love them!!

I loved it here! The staff was SO friendly and helpful. They were so educational and were able to answer all my questions and concerns about botox and fillers. I’m normally antsy with needles but here I was so relaxed! Could not recommend more. The space was also so aesthetic designed beautifully!!

I have only had fantastic experiences at the Deer Park location. There is no shame in wanting to take care of your skin; especially with the harsh effects of the sun, chemicals, stress & genetics! The menu of services offered is perfect for people who are looking for anything from simple to more complex treatments and procedures. I have worked with several of the ladies and EVERYONE has been kind, professional and helpful. I look forward to my next visit!

Highly recommended! I have been coming to AMA Spa in Deer Park for yrs., now my husband is coming! The staff & services are superb ! The staff is friendly & compassionate & very knowledgeable! Staff members are certified & highly trained. They will help you find the treatments that will reach your goal.One of my favorite products is Dr. Gulcher’s cream to remove brown spots, Hydroquinone retinoids, Acid Hydrocortisone Cream! I have tried others , but I have had great success with this product! The staff are very thorough with any procedures you may choose with no surprises! You feel very comfortable in this neutral atmosphere, a must see!!!

AMA Med Spa is fantastic. My wife has been a client for years and I have been one since 2018.The front desk staff is courteous, friendly,. and helpful, and Shannon is outstanding. She was my nurse for both Cool Sculpting and Emsculpting services, and did a terrific job. The results were incredible, exceeding my expectations, and Shannon was wonderful throughout the treatment processes. She clearly explained what to expect, and was consistently attentive, kind and professional. If you want to look and feel years younger, I highly recommend AMA.

Nice, convenient location with plenty of parking. Comfortable office area. The staff is very nice and attentive from the receptionists to the RN. Easy to book appointments and price is extremely reasonable for the area. Will come here from now on for all of my skin care needs.

Visited AMA again, and had my first visit with Antje for derma-planning and a hydra facial! She was great, she took her time and informed me on everything she was doing and helped me determine my future procedures! Go visit Antje!

Today I had a hydrafacial with Marina, which was incredible! She was incredibly knowledgeable and caring, identifying my issues and addressing them though the facial and in a variety of suggestions. I definitely will be back here again for treatments. Thank you, Marina!

I’ve been coming to AMA for a couple of years now and have enjoyed my every experience. The entire staff is warm and thorough, and the atmosphere is beautifully inviting and comfortable. Shannon is the absolute BEST, I give her full credit for all of the compliments I get on my skin...I’ll never go anywhere else! If you’re considering med spa services, make an appointment at AMA, you won’t be disappointed!

I’ve been going here for two years. Every time they try to upsell me. Never ever do they say “ wow the filler looks great” it’s always up selling me to buy more products. They want everyone overfilled and puffy. Last time I used my “free” facial and I got a chemical burn from the glycolic acid. The tech said it was just a little tingle but the red blotch scab that formed said otherwise. I’ve been disappointed but kept giving it another shot. At this point I’m done. There are so many places to get enhancement I want to be where I’m welcome.I won’t waste my time or money here and you shouldn’t either.

I’ve found in AMA people that actually listen to me. That understand what I am looking for and give me options that meet my budget. The most important part in these procedures is to have realistic expectations & understand the associated risks so you can take an informed decision. They will walk you through the process. I have been visiting AMA for like a year now. Have taken friends, too, and we are all happy with the results. I go with Keely, but I am sure all the other people that work there are excellent. This was my second visit and looking forward to my next. The minute I walk in I feel pampered the surroundings and ambiance are on point. I let them know my concerns they knew exactly what to do. I have too many positive words to describe RN Keely Allen .She listens patiently to all your concerns and goals and help you make the best decisions possible. Nurse Keely Allen is truly the most honest , education professional injection nurse I have ever met. She is a perfectionist and knows exactly how to give her clients the look they desire .She helped to correct asymmetry and crooked smile with Botox .I am so very happy with the results.HIGHLY RECOMMEND AMA MED SPA in Deer Park !!!

I go to the Gurnee office and I love it. Keely always takes the time to talk to me to help me decide what to get. She has a great hand. The office is very cute and makes me feel welcome. I don’t feel they are out for my money, but to make me happy.

I had Eyebrow Microblading done by Morgan Anderson at the Gurnee location. I am very happy with the outcome. My brows are a bit sparse at both ends, by the nose and side of the face, or at least they were. I also like to do them different ways, but it was so much work. We went thinner like I use everyday, in which case I no longer need to do anything, they are good to go. With only minor pencil work I can thicken the inside end if I want to be more dramatic. They look like they are all mine, blending in with my natural brows. Morgan is an artist with a very delicate touch to get nice thin strokes that mimic hair perfectly.

I came in because I bought a groupon for a facial, and Im very happy I did. The receptionist who checked me in and took my "before" picture was professional and efficient while also being very personable. Lauren, who did my facial was an absolute sweetheart. She walked me through each step and what to expect ("this will feel warm", "your skin might start tingling", etcand made me feel very comfortable. It was a wonderful experience, and Im recommending it to all of my friends and family.

Soon as I walked in the door I was extremely impressed with the professionalism of the lady is running the front desk. I felt comfortable with their knowledge of services, and immediately scheduled a procedure to have the tiny veins removed on my face around my nose as well as a few random cluster of veins on my chin and under my eye.
