This place is absolutely the best. Such a caring, cool staff, and the best prices of any vet Ive yet been to. They treated my furbaby like one of the family. I have no hesitation to drive a little over a half hour each way to reach them. They are the epitome of small town awesome.

Due to the pandemic, only one client is allowed in with their pet unless the client needs assistance. Staff is very friendly and helpful! Dr. Sloan is so very kind and gentle both with the clients and the pets. He also is very knowledgeable and his prices are usually lower than at other Veterinarians. Weve been coming here for years. We highly recommend the Animal Kingdom and Dr. Sloan and staff!

We absolutely love bring our pets here. We live an hour away and we tried a local vet but we decided the drive was better. No waiting and he only recommends what your pet really needs.

Miss E, My 14 year old Shih Tzu has breast cancer a d she had to have surgery to remove dying tissue and the cancer. Because of her age it was a risky surgery especially with the anesthesia.She had her surgery on October 8th and its the 24th as I write this.Animal Kingdom Vet has been extremely helpful with the aftercare and squeezing me in when my dog coughed all night long the first night after the surgery. She was shaking and I could tell by her demeanor that she was uncomfortable or in pain.They squeezed me in for a small check up with the vet who gave her a steroid shot to calm the swelling of her trachea from the intubation tube, when she was put under for the surgery. Ill be a life long client with any animals my boyfriend and I happen to get along the way and for my old lady Miss E!Whats even more amazing is that theres a groomer in the building! I will definitely do a review on the groomer after I take Missy there next week!

I have two dogs: A (~4 yrsfemale blue-nose pitbull and a (~7male bulldog-pitbull mix. We had to take my bullpit in because something was wrong. He kept coughing and throwing up. When we took him to the vet we werent allowed in the exam room (during COVID-19, its understandable, but Id still rather be in there to know what theyre doing). They didnt ask many questions, and after his exam they didnt even tell me what was wrong. All they did was say that they gave him two shots and put him on some pills for a few weeks (which cost ~$80 in total). He hasnt had the issue since, but their actions were still concerning.A few weeks ago, I took my blue-nose pitbull to the same vet. Shes been rapidly gaining weight, having issues with peeing on the floor, is losing patches of fur, and she has a limp in her back knee. Again, the vet asked close to no questions, and once again said nothing about any kind of diagnosis. All they did was prescribe her some kind of medication and send her back with us. Her knee hasnt gotten better, nor has her weight, and she is still having problems with peeing inside. The vets are obviously unreliable and unprofessional. I dont reccomend taking your pets here if you actually care about them.

All of the 5 stars mention how cheap they are. They’re cheap because they don’t know what they’re doing and have outdated equipment. Was trying to say my cat needed all his teeth pulled and consistently gave him high doses of cortisone which could lead to life long health issues. After taking him to an all cat clinic, turns out he’s allergic to plastic and once removing plastic from his life his mouth hasn’t had problems since. This vet is genuinely uneducated

Dr. Sloan genuinely cares about the animals. When my dog and I were there before, she was diagnosed with parvo early, and he gave her some liquid Tamiflu. She made it!

I have been taking my pets here for almost 20 yrs. Thought they were the best! The last 2 times I went in they acted like you didnt even matter and you were unconvincing them to have to actually work. I let the last bad experience slide since everyone has an off day but the last time going there with my cat is literally the LAST. I TOOK MY CAT IN FOR A BLOATED STOMACH. PAID $120 FOR XRAYS AND A CORTISONE SHOT AND HE SAID IT WASNT SERIOUS AND SENT US ON OUT WAY. DIDNT ASK BARELY ANY QUESTIONS ANS DIDNT SEEM TO CARE ABOUT MY CAT TO ASK WHAT WAS GOING ON. I GAVE IT AWHILE HOPING HIS STOMACH WOULD GO DOWN AND IT DIDNT, IT GOT BIGGER. TOOK HIM TO BANFIELD IN SPRINGFIELD FOR A 2ND OPINION AND I FOUND OUT MY CAT HAS TO BE PUT DOWN BECAUSE HE HAS FIP. A COMMON FATAL VIRUS THAT CATS CAN DIE FROM. A VET THAT HAS A LOT OF EXPIERENCE SEEMED TO NOT CARE ENOUGH TO TELL ME MY CAT WAS DYING! WORST SERVICE AND HUMAN COMPASSION ON THIS EARTH! Stop taking your pets here! When it counts the most they will let you down!😡😡😡

Dr. Sloan and staff were filling in for my regular vet when my Cairn Terrier of 10+ years had to be put down from several life-threatening conditions. They were extremely professional and empathetic to our situation. Two days later my miniature schnauzer had an emergency health issue and ultimately had to be put down also. Dr. Sloan and his wonderful staff were the best and we would recommend this establishment to anyone seeking competent care for their pets!
