Call them about a sparrow with a broken wing. Made all kinds of reasons why I should go some place else. Told them money was not a problem. I guess this Vet thinks that it does not matter if sparrows live or die!

This is my second time cancelling on them I literally just got off the phone with MaryThe receptionist extremely rude my puppy broke her toes and she gives us the latest time possible and her first appointment over charged us for a check up do not WASTE YOUR MONEY FOLKS

Took my fur baby to Dr. Vanna for a open sore on his hind leg and they were super friendly. They talked me through pricing and the whole process to get my kitty feeling better. Staff and this doctor will talk to you about issue and go over medication extremely thoroughly. Glad I gave this small business I shot! Thank to all of you!

Quality service, staff is super friendly. They just seem understaffed and overwhelmed. We waited for 6 hours and left at 2am without being seen. I understand that its an emergency center and the had some animals hit by cars come in so obviously they take priority and everyone else has to wait. It just seems like they could be better staffed to handle the high demand that their location has. There are not enough vets/animals hospitals in Pittsburgh to adequately handle the pets in the area.

Provided exceptional care for my cat, Zinca. Dr. V. is extremely knowledgeable and personable and the staff is amazingly friendly and helpful. My cat still talks about the great time she had. :-)

Its All about the money here and they do not truly care about your pet. Also they are very condesending.

I would NEVER take another reptile to Dr. Vanna. I brought in my bearded dragon as an emergency. He lost a lot of weight rapidly and became very lethargic. After doing blood work and examining him, she came outside to berate me and told me he was just dehydrated and starving for many months. I knew this wasnt true, as he typically ate everyday before he got sick. She also made it quite clear that she didnt know much about bearded dragons. I told her about my concerns that I thought he could have a parasite, she said he didnt. Even though another vet ended up confirming that he did have a small amount of parasites. Not only that she either lied, didnt care, or had no idea what to check for the in blood work. She told me everything was normal. Dr. Hamilton from Hermitage vet confirmed that he had atadenovirus. They actually cared and took a stool sample, did a full blood panel, and x ray. I think this is the only bad review Ive ever written. If you love your reptile, dont EVER take them here. Youd be better off using Google.

Dr. Vana and her staff are very kind and understanding. At this time, Nov 2021,they are social distancing and come to your car to get your pet. I was given two prices, one was what needed to be done immediately and one that should be done. I appreciated the option.

Dr. Vana and her staff treat our dog Hank like one of their own. Theyre nice folks with people too! That being said, wait times can be very long, but I stomach it since I know theres only one Dr. In the building who has to talk to every patient.

Our appointment was 5:45 and our dog was taken into the office at that time. The tech stated the appointments should be about 15 min. (Just getting yearly shotsat 6:30 our dog was not seen yet. Dr was standing in the parking lot talking. I understand she may be reporting an exam to pet owners , however 45 min is a bit much and my dog was still not seen. I will find another vet.

We have been taking our pets to Dr Vana for years, she and her staff have been courteous, caring and professional. We always recommend this practice and will continue

I have not been there for several years. However when I was going for 2 beagles a German Shepherd + 1 cat she was fabulous. Also I was very moved by her empathy when I lost my Shepherd. I will always remember the card and kind words she sent me after his passing.Id go back in a heartbeat.

Do not recommend bringing your rabbits here make sure to take him/her to a vet who knows about rabbits. I brought my rabbit in and she was trying to surgery on him saying there was a 50/50 chance he’ll die so glad I decided not to let her to the surgery because my rabbit was fine seems like all they want is money. She should really stop seeing exotic pets and stick to just cats and dogs

2019 Papo had a wonderful visit with Dr. Vanna. 2020 Papo had his yearly check up. Hes doing fine. Dr. Vanna and her entire staff are awesome.

Dr. Vana is an amazing, caring vet. Since I moved to the area seven years ago she has been providing fantastic care to all of my pets. I picked this office randomly as it was close to my new home at the time and I couldnt have been luckier in my choice. The staff are all incredibly friendly and helpful, and its clear everyone who works here truly cares about all the animals who come in the door. Dr. Vana has even specifically looked for answers at veterinary seminars for an answer as to why one of my cats would get chronic respiratory infections without any other signs of disease of abnormality. Absolutely the best vet experience Ive ever had.

I highly recommend Animal Medical Center of Kennedy Twp! Everyone is very friendly and knowledgeable. Dr. Vana is the best and she always made me feel like my dogs well-being was her main priority. They also sent reminders of my dogs appointments every single time and that was a huge help for me! Cant recommend it enough!

And I like the people cuz theyre very respectful always try to fit me in for an appointment when I need you guys thank you for everything Cuz you take care of my brisket very well

Horrible. My German Shepherd panted & cried all day. Dr Vana had been treating her plus my 3 other animals for years. German Shepard had a cancerous tumor on front leg which PVSEC advised couldnt be fixed since it would grow back and back legs wouldnt support her. PVSEC wrote to her about this. Although she was actively treating her, she refused to give me an appt or talk with me today. Most unprofessional uncaring treatment imaginable. Dont waste your money just to have her fail you when you need her. I will have her put down elsewhere tomorrow. Her assistant Mary also very rude and uncaring

Excellent vet, attentive, great staff, we go out of our way to see them.

A while back my dog had an ear infection. Its not common but its not his first- hes a pit with poorly cropped ears so every now and then he gets one. They charged and sent me home with2 huge bottles of ear cleaner and two tubes of stuff I used for a week and didnt need anymore, charging me up the wazoo for the unnecessary amount of medication. She was also short, slightly rude, and treated me like an inconvenience. Granted, apparently they were putting down 2 animals while I was there but that doesnt mean that your other clients like they are a problem. Wont ever go back.

The doctors are great, they’ve taken top of both of our pups. Feel like part of the family!

Staff is great and Dr. Vanna has such a great relationship with my dogs. She knows when something is wrong just by seeing the personality change in my dogs. Shes great!

Everyone at the clinic is very nice. All three of my critters are patients. Dr. Vana does her best to figure out what is going on when situations arise and she knows when its time for a specialist to step in if necessary. Weve been going there for about 8 years now.

Dr vanna is the best. My Emilie is a rescue and she diagnosed her with CRF. Through her care, Emilie is improving and leading a normal cat life! I wont take her anywhere else! And the staff is awesome! Very caring.

Dr Vana is absolutely amazing. I first to my cat mr. Oreo whiskers there when he had a cold and they took good care of him. Almost 6 months later I had gotten a new kitten Phoenix and we had an emergency and as soon as I walked in the door they knew something was wrong, and immediately sprang into action. Although they wouldnt let mengo back with her at first, they kept me updated and funds were tight and yet Dr vana did everything in her power to make sure she was alright. And for that I am truely grateful!! I would recommend this medical center to anyone! Thanks Dr. Vanna for being absolutely amazing!!

The doctor was nice,I just saw her one time.My only complain is, they have a stainless steel table and should let such poor animal die in the arms of their owner, not taken them to their basement, they so afraid and need their owner close by.This is very upsetting, now I dont even know what happened to my baby.Please have mercy with such a poor dying animal and let them die while the pet owner is with him. I should have just left with my little boy and taking him somewhere else to being put asleep while I could have held him till it is over, I feel so guilty that I let the guy taking him alone to the basement, that I cant sleep anymore, cant forget how he looked at me, my poor poor little boy.

We have been taking our cats there for a few years now and they always do a great job at taking care of them. The staff is very nice and helpful and Dr. Vana is great. Definitely recommend.
