Absolutely delicious! 😋 Son scarfed the chicken Alfredo (said it was better than mine 🙄younger son loves the spaghetti and meatballs. My husband had their sausage sandwich and I had the gyro and both were wonderful. Fast and super friendly. We will definitely be coming back again!

Little Italy is in Lakview straight from Italian grandparents who owned an Italian deli on Taylor Street in Chicago!We had the most sumptuous Italian food in the most relaxing, fun atmosphere reminiscing about Chicago (and the Cubs, of course - Larry Hummrich take note!with the amazing owner Anthony himself. Very casual, not at all fancy with a friendly guitar player strumming some gentle, non-obtrusive jazz and blues (transplant from Iowafor tips and food!Take cash, not taking credit cards or debit right now. Take Hwy 178 to Lakeview, on the left, across the road from what I guess was a now closed indoor flea market. I had a homemade sausage sandwich with a glass of wine and a side of potato salad and Steve had chicken with penne and homemade Alfredo sauce with homemade breadsticks and the best doggone canolli this side of Chicago! Katherine (? spis his wife and she came out to say Hi. We will go again!

First time to eat there. Had there Gyro with Vesuvio potatoes. Best Ive had since I ate at Portillos in Chicago. Go try it, you wont be disappointed!

The best Gyros in town (probably the only Gyros in town!my wife and I had the Meat Lasagna - delicious, the Cabbage Rolls with meat, those were outstanding. We never came on a weekend before and their live one man band was great with his multi synthesizer guitar- Zero Antarctica did all original music and was a very pleasant in the background. Not too loud, where you could still have a conversation, and enjoy the meal. Sodas by the can, and beer by the bottle! What more could you ask!

Enjoyed the food so much that we ate there two days in a row.

Cheese Burgers were excellent! Going back soon to try the Gyros. Friday night karaoke and live music on Saturday.

BEST Italian beef in the Twin Lakes for sure. And the stuffed cabbage tasted like grandma made it (thats a really great compliment to the chef). And not to mention, the staff was extremely friendly and helpful. Well be coming back again and again, and will be recommending to friends.

I just had lunch at Anthonees for the first time. I had the Spinach and artichoke lasagna and it was great! My co worker had the meat loaf sandwich and said he enjoyed it also. I never had the chance to eat here before it closed for a little while; however, I am excited to have a new place to get lunch in this area and would recommend you stop by. Oh, had a cannoli and they are yummy

Well,I must have come on a bad day then.I thought they did home cooking .2 of us stopped in for lunch.The kid waited on us and had zero knowledge of the menu questions that we asked ( I felt sorry for himhe had to keep going back to an adult to answer our questions.Seems like there is a law about working kids that much in a biz.The table we sat at was dirty,the kid took a kids attempt at cleaning it.There is no atmosphere there.I dont even think that they serve you on a real glass plate.Plastic serving things there.Well ,I finally got up and went to the counter to ask what dishes there were ho made.Found out that pretty much nothing was .I think the perogis and something else were but the wife hadnt made any.We had a couple of sandwhiches that were greasy,overcooked, and flavorless.The kid was a terrible waiter..but what do you want from a kid.The lady that I was with never even recieved her coffee ,and something else she asked for ,We were kinda laughing toward the end because the service was so bad from the kid.We tipped him anyway .Also I remember nothing came with the sandwhiches ,You had to order things seperate,which ran the bill up.This is pretty much a glorified hot dog/greasy spoon folks run by nice people.If ya want a good meal/service keep going down the hiway to 178 club.
