Applebee's Grill + Bar in LaGrange County

They have a new Chicken/shrimp skillet that was very good. The chicken tender meal was lukewarm when served and my cheeseburger was more red than pink. On the plus side our waitress (sorry I cant remember her namebut she took our order, there was 4 in our party, without writing it down.

Great place to grab a drink and lunch after work!

My food was fine but my wifes sirloin steak smelled and tasted rancid. She wasnt able to finish meal. Waitress did remove charges for the meal.

It was ok. A customer brought in a service dog. And our waitresses was petting and loving on the dog. Then went right over and starts taking orders. Ewww at least wash your hands. Service was slow food ok. $2 for 2oz of sauce was a bit crazy.

The service here is also very good the waitresses are amazing and helpful and are very quick to make sure your experience is a great one thank you guys for rocking

Miller is the best bartender! Shes always on point. Nice job sturgis Applebees on great staff & great food.

Worst service ever sat there waiting while they seat 4 other parties that walked in after us. Would not recommend

Welcome the new drink to Sturgis Applebees "Heavens Delights" that was created tonight by Courtney the bar tender off of a random w video we presented to her with a drink we wanted to try. She created a perfect balance lemon sour, apple crown, Carmel, and now we have Heavens Delight. Along with the great service of our waitress,( I apologize I forgot you name if you see this please comment,and I will edit this review just for youwith our food and pleasant atmosphere, and again great service. Thank for tonight it was needed and appreciated.

Food is always delicious. Bar tender is great at her job.

Its basic good food. We went on a Sunday as a family of 6 and were seated quickly. I had a steak with madhed potatoes and broccoli. The broccoli could have been cooked a bit more but it was edible. Best part was we were there as a family.

Good food prompt service and friendly staff....nice menu and thr drinks are well priced...

Its been a long time since we were at an Applebees because we had bad service and food. What a pleasant surprise it was to have great service and good food. Will go back again.

Very nice place, Sturgis Michigan. Had to wait a short time because they were shortstaffed. Food was very good and great price

No fries, cold broccoli. Asked for cheese sauce, never got it. Manager suggested discounted price. Very disappointing for an Applebees

I mean as far as corporate America food goes this place nails it. Better wings than BWs and also when I had an issue with my Appy and Chicka Chicka Tendies the GM Tyrone? Came out and made things right. If you go to one resturant in Sturgis for wings and beer make it Applebees. Staff and food are top notch.

Will not come back. Had to wait for the girls who were in the back giggling and caring on to get seated. My food was burnt, every person after us who came in had to wait for some time to get seated because, you guessed it, girls in the back giggling and talking. All around bad service and food. 😖

I know Applebees, I worked for one. First off Bartender dont care about no one but locals, second I asked for extra cheese on rib dip got no cheese. And I asked for 10 boneless wings half with Asian sauce, other with honey BBq well I got 8 wings all intermixed. Good luck.

We had steak and shrimp. Both of our steaks were dry and tough but the flavor was good. Mac and cheese was delicious, fries were ok. Shrimp was very good.Our waitress was excellent, drinks were good.Our appetizer got lost so we never got it but our waitress apologized more than once for that.

Good food but no silverware? Literally they said they dont know whats happening to their silverware? We had our food for10 min. before they brought us plastic forks.

Good food, good service. Only negative was we were a party of 10 and we couldnt all sit at one table, which Applebees isnt really set up for big parties, so its not really their fault.

It was getting late and zero food choices on the Indiana tollway. A quick map scan a BINGO.We were hours behind schedule but we needed food to relieve car tension.Pic is of southwest chicken salad and truly was worth every pero.Our server knew exactly how to deal with 2 wacked seniors.Good food, prices alittle over priced but what are u going to do especially when u r buggered out !

Amazing change from Mid May/ beginning of June! Had 2 bad experiences and took the chance tonight and it was 100% times better! Awesome service by host Kaylee, server Faith, and told manager Amanda how much we have noticed things have changed! The atmosphere walking in, eating, and leaving was awesome! Keep up the good work Sturgis Applebees!

My husband and I had lunch there today. Our server did a good job but the broccoli was drenched in butter and my grilled chicken was overcooked. I found a hair on my plate and I probably should have said something but didn’t mention it to anyone because I didn’t want to upset my husband. We will probably not be back.

got our takeout order wrong, but the girl who brought it out to us was very understanding on the mixup and brought us out what we actually ordered free of charge and let us keep the original mixup!

Service was attentive. Everyone seemed to enjoy their food. Nothing outstanding nothing bad. Good solid experience

After I checked in one of the employees told me that it will take up to 15 minutes because the kitchen doesnt know how to do their job and then the manager came in and yelled at her for seating people while the kitchen was so behind. I walked out.

I order carside to go often and it never disappoints. Great job Sturgis Applebees!Update :Went for our anniversary tonight. Service was excellent! They went a little overboard with the butter and oil on my dish but the chicken was moist and mashed potatoes were good and hot. My husband loved his burger and his cup was never empty.

Quite a good experience overall, the food and service was good. The only real problem was that we were told to wait for 5-10 minutes after asking for a booth instead of the high top was recommended to us, just to be put in a booth that was empty and seemed clean when we walked in. Good food at decent prices overall.

Servers were very friendly and attentive. Food was awesome. Manager came out and asked me how the food was and if I needed anything. I believe her name was Amanda. Will definitely go back again.

Only part of this meal that was decent was the bread sticks. The Alfredo sauce tasted nearly rancid and had so much garlic it stank. Just inedible, and I LOVE garlic. Pina Colada was syrupy and way, way too sweet. Also the restaurant was extremely dirty, trash and dirt on the floor and a nasty garbage can right beside the hostess station near the front door. When I say nasty, I mean things had been spilled all over the outside of it and had been left to dry and get crusty, yet it was sitting in plain view of everyone who walked in the door. We had a short wait and were told they were short staffed because a server didnt show up for their shift. We should have walked out when we saw how dirty and run down the place was but we had been on the road for hours and were exhausted and starving. And when we left we were still hungry because the food was inedible. Having said all that, I do want to give our server and the hostess credit for being really sweet. This Applebees needs a serious overhaul. Dont go here, please.

I joined the waiting list on yelp, I was told 15-20 minutes, we get in there and I was told a hour or longer.. lady was very rude there was nobody in there waiting.. staff is very rude, Very very poor service!! I know they might be low on staff but there was nobody in here. Food was wrong! Waitress never checked on us after we got our food never seen her after she took our order,we had to ask another waitress for our bill.. Their bathroom stinks soo bad! It smells like they have an exposed sewage line.

We went today to celebrate my daughters birthday and they messed up our order majorly! First they brought my plate out 10+ minutes before everyone elses food was even going to be ready. Then they didnt bring my husbands steak out so he ended up eating my salad and mozzarella sticks for his meal. Once they finally brought it out it was the wrong steak so we asked for the correct steak and they again brought out the wrong one. When they brought a refill for the Sierra Mist it was all carbonated water so we thought after she replaced it she would bring a new one but never did. I think in the end she started avoiding us because she majorly messed up.

Wonderful ribs! Awesome waitress, so nice n kind when I had to call up to pay her a tip, because I forgot cash. She was so nice n polite. Thats great service! When alot of other servers at places would of been rude, nope she was wonderful.

Food was decent. Music selection was less than satisfactory. The bartender played Spanish music and didn’t bother to change it until we asked for a different selection. She changed it for two songs and then put the Spanish music back on. Defiantly not the American experience I was expecting! NOT recommended for American family cuisine.

Really disappointed. Ordered the food. Took so long to get the food. Got home and my steak was red. I ordered medium well and it was rare. I had to cook it at home to even be able to stomach it. The rest of ourDinners and appetizers were cold. For 60 bucks, we could have eaten somewhere else. Not impressed at all

The atmosphere and staff make it worth the while, the people are great! The food really needs to be more fresh and hot when its served.This is the only reason its a 4 out if five to me.We would definitely be going more often if this could be improved on.

Good food and great service just didnt like the music they were playing at too loud of a volume level.

We have never had good look with the service and food at the Sturgis Applebees. But we decided to give it a try with carside to go. I would recommend a pass on eating here or getting it to go. My husbands fries (the few that they gave himwere soggy limp and cold. For his shrimp the cocktail sauce he asked for was a cup of catsup. My sons spinach and artichoke dip didnt have any cheese. My chicken was burnt and pasta was dry without the creamy sauce vs it was supposed to have. NOT IMPRESSED.
