Applebee's Grill + Bar in Lehigh County

Disappointed is an understatement. First off the waitress seem to be in a bad mood from the minute we sat down. As we are ordering the waitress had the sniffles and was constantly sucking in her mucous up her nose. The only thing that was somewhat cooked ok was our mozzarella sticks. My fiancé who asked for medium well steak received and overcooked rubbery steak. My sons chicken was rubbery, my daughters ribs were all fat and my four cheese Mac-n-cheese with honey chicken was disgusting. And as I write this, my fiancé and daughter are both feeling nauseous and have stomach pains. And after everything we still left a tip. I will never be eating at Applebees again.

I come here quite frequently with my fiance and children becuse of half apps. Crazy how half of the booths/tables stay broken after reminding the staff. Bathrooms are almost always a mess. Sometimes I dont get silverware until my food comes, or it comes dirty and it needs to be replaced. This place is in dire need of friendly new staff..

Everytime I come to this location theres a problem. Why do we have to eat what is ordered (mealseparated. If its not the steak being made wrong it is either add ons forgotten or utensils not provided from the begining. By the time that u get the last of what you ordered, the food is cold and your not even hungry anymore. Then you go to the bathroom to use it and wash your hands and theres no soap! You advise the staff there and they said their going to get it and now your standing in the bathroom for 10 minutes and end up leaving because noone showed up. (So gross). And this happens here all the time!

We went out to dinner with our friends on Friday night. We got to Applebees around 6:30pm, we were immediately seated. Our orders were taken promptly and the food came out quickly. The food was great, we had Riblets platter and bourbon chicken and shrimp. The waiters and waitresses are very friendly. This is a great go to place for a good quality meal.

No apples... No bees... Came for beekeeping advice, left with a full stack and less knowledge of beekeeping... Not a bad place though

waiter was awesome! it was 8:50 and me and my boys were waiting for half apps (9:00). We explained to the waiter we were waiting for half apps and he let us do it at 8:50. W waiter give him a raise

Food is always good. Service was super slow... our waitress started service nice/friendly - and then kept forgetting to come back and check on us. While I know/understand staffing shortage... they werent super busy at the time, so it was a little frustrating.

Good service, food was good but not awesome.

Today must have been an off day. While the food was good the service was awful, almost nonexistent. Waited 10 minutes before the server Abby acknowledged us. Never checked back on us once the food was served. Never got a drink refill. We were initially planning on getting dessert but passed due to the poor service. We witnessed her both sitting at a booth and talking at the hostess station. The tip we left was generous based on the service received.

Food does not always get cooked the way you would like ex. Medium well but still has good servers and wait times

I had the strawberry salad it was really good. My husband had fish and chips and he also said it was good and it was also still hot! Great place to eat

Great drinks... Not to fond over the Mac n cheese with blackened chicken tenders tho.. tasted like some cheap jar sauce.. will stick with my usual next time.. our waitress was great even tho she had half the tables she was waiting on due to under staffing

Applebees was great!! Had one of their new " bowls" selections and was delicious. Service was top notch as well.

Haven’t been there since the pandemic and my first visit since was absolute a waste of money. Good that used to taste good no longer does. My husband couldn’t even eat his plate as the soap from washing the plate was on it and made the food taste like it too. Never again will we step there.

The staff was quick and polite throughout meal. We were a party of 6 and all of our orders came out correctly. The food was good when it came out as well.

It was So dirty got there a little after opening it was fillfy seat was dirty french fry left on the Booth were the glass is waitres sneezed while making lemonade behind the bar did not rush to wash her hands asked for salt she said rudely wait till I finish getting the rest of your food to the table the only reason two stars are given is the wait staff at the door where nice and friendly..Three weeks later we visited again our waiter was a young man named Liam he made it such a great experience he was just amazing the food was good and he worked hard to please thank you.

Excellent service!! They said it could be up to 30-35 minute wait and we probably only waited not much more than 10 minutes or so!

The food was good. I had some sort of bowl, I cant remember the name of the dish. It had guacamole, Mexican rice and chicken. It was tasty. My husband had chicken Alfredo, he liked it a lot. We ordered appetizers but they didnt arrive until after our mel came, which was a bummer. I even asked the server to please make sure we didnt receive it with our meal because on the previous visit, it all came together. I guess I should have specified that I wanted it before our meal. The manager did come and apologize and even took it off our bill. The only reason I rated it 4 stars is because of the appetizer. Other than that, the server was friendly, the manager was apologetic & nice and the prices are reasonable. Oh, cant forget the Blondie, that was absolutely delicious!!

I had a strawberry balsamic salad and two old fashions with Makers Mark which were a refreshing end and to a hectic Friday work day. The bartender was busy but was very attentive and made a great old-fashioned. I highly recommend Applebees in Trexlertown.

Appetizers taste cheap frozen oil fried. Special holiday drink with candy wreath was blan , no cant wreath, waitress tells us after we get drinks, whats the point of showing us the pic if your out, thats all part of the novelty, real downer going there

I had keneishka as my server tonight, she has one other table which came in after us. It took her 20 minutes to get to our table to ask what we wanted to drink. Another 15 to bring our drink and than after she dropped off our food she didn’t check on us for 20ish minutes again. Meanwhile the table Infront of us she didn’t ask for there drink order for 20 minutes and another 15 to bring there drinks. I asked for a side of salsa that took 10 minutes and my food was cold. If u aren’t busy you shouldn’t give this bad of service very sad never getting half apps again

Staff were extremely nice and attentive, but having been here a few times I know the food can be so/so depending on what you’re getting. If you want the most out of your money here then I would definitely recommend coming in later for half off apps. Their wonton tacos are exceptional.

This applebees is the worst. dirty, saw bugs in the bathroom. Staff is rude as hell. But its not their fault, the manager is worse and he probably trained these kids. If you want a good meal, dont go here. If you want dog food go here.

We finally came to use a credit we received when we were dissatisfied with our meal many months ago. We ordered steaks, the 8 oz, and were surprised at how small they were, the waitress admitted she did not give us the right size. We asked for medium rare, got more like medium well. She said shed have the chef replace them and it wouldnt take long since theyre not being cooked long. Well we waited quite some time and they were just as overcooked as the first ones. I spoke with the manager, she gave us another credit for the future. I mentioned to her how well we enjoyed the Applebees in Silverdale Washington, that there are always enthusiastic employees greeting guests as they arrived and it really amped up the vibe and enjoyment. I know that these days restaurants may be struggling however it seems like it would pay off to ensure you have excellent employees and a nice friendly welcoming environment.

Had Shrimp parmesan and an 8 oz steak. The Shrimp was excellent but the steak was horrible, it was like shoe leather and lots of gristle. You would think for what they charge, they could give you a better cut of meat. I do NOT recommend this place.BAD BAD BADUpdateThey sent me a $20 certificate even though I paid $25.19 for the meal. I am sure they never contacted the restaurant I went to. So why would I go back. Not the money its the principal.

Used to be our favorite Applebees..but we ate there last night and things again deteriorated. The Strawberry chicken salad had 1...yes 1 strawberry and very little chicken. It was NOT worth the $$$$ we paid. 2 weeks ago at this same Trexlertown...the meals were messed up and had to be returned. Come on management....get your act together in the kitchen. We eat there 3 to 4 times a month and have come to expect better.

The food tasted fantastic. The easier helped make sure that we ordered food that was safe for my kid with allergies by confirming things with me as my kid ordered. It all came out pretty quick too, which actually surprised me. Waiter was polite and attentive without being annoying. We will definitely go there again!

Applebees is one of my favorite restaurants!! It has amazing food, great staff, and super fast service. My order is never messed up and food is always good quality. I might be bias towards this restaurant, but I think its worthy of a full five star review.

A great meal last night Applebee’s. I have black pepper chicken. Even though the food was good I paid for 3 extra chicken strips I’ver the 4 cheese pasta. They never put says on the extra 3. The waitress brought me extra sauce. Still happy after another experience at this restaurant.

Heard nothing except the bartender whining about how busy it was the entire time I was there. Caesar salad dressing tasted like nothing, was super bland. Food was barely warm and some of it was overcooked. Waitress was nice but the service was poor. There was shattered glass that sat in front of our table next to the bar for over 30 minutes and was never cleaned up, until we cleaned it up. Not the employees, us. Huge safety violation.

I like to order the chicken tender platter with honey mustard. I asked for the chicken to be extra crispy needless to say the chicken came out perfect. Also, honey mustard dipping sauce is amazing!! The waitress was a little annoying, but over-all David and I had a great experience.

Service was fast enough. The meal I got was pretty good too. My fiance and I had a good visit.

When we came in and the hostess was wearing a full length parka it should have sent us right back out as a sign of what was to come. We sat down and it was literally freezing in there. I had to ask to have the heat turned up and almost got a standing ovation from the other patrons. Our waiter "Joseph B" came and took our drink orders and placed plastic ware wrapped in the "togo" logo plastic baggie. We ordered drinks and he returned with them and left the entire try on the table and said "heres your drinks" and walked away. We ordered food and a different person brought my sisters boneless wings out and she stood away from the table and yelled "boneless wings" when we asked which ones she held them out and shrugged her shoulders. Noone elses food came out yet. Several minutes later two more entrees came out and she said "barbecue boneless" which noone ordered and we asked what kind are they and she said "try em" put them down and walked away. I asked the waitress why our food was coming out like this and she said we can only bring two plates out at a time. My shrimp was the next to come and she announced chicken tenders. I asked where my nephews steak was and she walked away. When Joseph came back and asked if everything was okay I asked where the steak was and he said, " I gave it to someone, I know i brought it out" he left and came back with it. My nephew had to eat a sirloin steak with a plastic knife and fork. Some of us were done eating while others had to wait for their food. I told the waiter and he laughed. MOST BIZARRE EXPERIENCE I have ever had.

Me: "Id like the Triple Chocolate Meltdown but with chocolate ice cream please." and then...Overworked, but extremely polite waitress at the end of a very long shift: "Oh, we dont have chocolate. We only carry vanilla."Thinking to myself... You only carry vanilla? Well thats a very bold stance for any establishment. But moreso for you, seeing your so called "triple" chocolate meltdown only has two chocolate elements: cake and hot fudge... surely you concede its a double chocolate meltdown at best.But, why the false advertising? Whats there to gain by misleading your patrons, and how does this mildly successful national chain expect its staff to suffer through ridiculous questions about the availability of options for poorly named desserts? Is the bar set so low by corporate? Is it about saving money on freezer space? Hasnt the naming convention of calling doubles, "triples," been escalated to the highest level? Do triple-decker sandwiches only come with two levels? Is the triple sec at the bar only a double sec? When you need something "on the double," is it done at normal speed?Me: "Vanillas fine. Took my mom here late evening time for a dessert and our server Heather was absolutely phenomenal. It’s always nice meeting lovely people. Great atmosphere and the new apple fritter dessert she recommended was delicious!

Ordered through Grubhub, we are 12 minutes away but everything came COLD. Asked for extra ranch, none was given. Ordered their pretzels and they are disgusting (as picturedand raw in the middle. I’m so glad I don’t live near here.

Fast seating, friendly service, military discounts, and good food. Clean and trendy decor, a great place to hang with family and friends or a simple date night. Still miss their potato twisters 😪
