Always a good meal and quick friendly service
Food was not very good at all. Got the crab dip, was mostly like soup and did not taste good at all. The chips were right out of the store bought bag, gross. Also got the chicken sandwich which was very small. Chicken was only about 4 bites was so small so it was mostly bread. Very disappointed
The death fries and crab dip were amazing! The chocolate cake is really decadent and yummy also!
Nice place with lots of seating. For not being from the area I would say a little hard to see their sign. It is not the largest of the signs on the post.
Fun place for great food and drinks. Orange crushes get an A+. Great service too. This is where the locals go. Our regular spot.
This has always been a nice casual style place to get something good to eat, cold or hot and a good draft beer.
Great casual spot for bfast, lunch or dinner, with a mammoth beer selection.
We were there for a wedding rehearsal dinner Saturday night. Was last minute plan due to weather cancellations! It was wonderful. Food was superb and our waiter was amazing. Always there when you needed him with a smile on his face ! Wanted to tip him but he disappeared when we were leaving. Bartender not friendly at all. While it was not her job to wait on us she wouldn’t even look at anyone or tell them to look for the guy assigned to us. Very disappointed in her. Otherwise highly recommend! Great food and drinks.
Good food and a nice spot to hang out. Godd option for either lunch or dinner. Staff is friendly.
I had never had one of Arenas burgers until now. Cheeseburger & fries were delicious! Im a big Arenas fan anyway.
All the food was over priced and terrible. It was made sloppy and even the soda was flat and gross. What a waste of money. Our server was nice though.
This place has really gone downhill. Had the sheetz real bad from their food. Much better options. The big boy that owns the place doesnt care either.
Came in for a late lunch/early dinner. Can’t remember the gentleman’s name that helped us but he was awesome, super attenuator and ensured the food came out quick! Would highly recommend this location as well as the other Arenas in the area!
Good burgers and sandwiches. Nice portions. Fries are top notch. Our waiter was friendly and efficient. We will be back.
Every time I have came here the food is terribly disappointing. It’s cafeteria food with a high price tag. I got the cheesesteak and did a add on side of fries (since they give you a tiny bag of chip to pass as a sidethe fry portion was microscopic and they were soggy. Absolutely disgusting especially for a upcharge. The person who checked me out was very unpleasant as well. Save your money & go to mcdonalds to get a better meal. At least you won’t be ripped off.
We went to Arenas on taco Tuesday and half price nachos the tacos were ok but the nachos were very lame they were the worst I ever had I have been going to the original Arena,s for years it seems like the more locations they get the worst the food gets
stopped in for a light lunch. Had a chicken ceasar. Very good. They had good service and friendly. Arenas has several locations in the area. Been to a couple in the Rehoboth area, all have been good. They also do a killer Nacho platter. They do carry craft beers for those interested.
Im going to give this place one star...due to the fact that we ordered crab dip and what we recieved was a dish of cream cheese, peppers (ALOT),old bay seasoning with melted cheese on top ( where was the crabwith tortilla chips and a cold dinner roll. I ordered a rockfish ruben which wasnt to bad and my partner ordered a crab cake sandwich which really was just 85% filler and the rest crab meat..thats probably where the crab went that was supposed to be in the dip. The lemonade was good tho!!!!
Such wonderful food but large portions and for what we had I was not looking forward to it but was much mistaken for how good it was so if your looking for something easy but has sit-down inside and outside this is the place and also not that expensive and of course the food is absolutley wonderful and the wait was barely anything
I had the best Rockfish tacos ever! Every bite was delicious and fresh. Definitely the place I will stop next vacation
Service was lacking and warm food was served cold. Got a turkey burger and it was cool and had a bad texture. Server never checked in on us and was just running around. There are better spots to get food in the area.
I got pierogis as an appetizer and the chicken cheesesteak for my main course1. Appetizer - very goot quality.Nice crispy edges, hot center, and the bacon they sprinkled on top was perfect. Zero complaint from this pollock2. Main course - Unbearably bland, Bread was dry/ tasted old. I ended up taking the lackluster chicken of the bun and eating it separately with ketchup ( i dont often go for ketchup but i had to try something).3. All in all I would only stop in here again if it was the only thing open or if i wanted pierogis again.
I highly recommend this restaurant. First time coming here and it will definetly not be the last. The food was incredible and our server Chris was the best server I have ever had. Awesome experience from start to finish. They even accommodated our larger group at an outdoor table. 10 out of 10!!
This place had great reviews but ultimately my family of 4 were disappointed. The cheesesteak was just “ok” it was eaten by my two little children. My chicken chaste salad wrap was actually awful. The chicken was so over cooked it was barely chewable, almost to the point of inedible. My husband ordered some sort of salad which he said was kind of “blah” will not return here.
Incredible service! Much good vibes here and I loved the dishes we had. My partner and I are from Maryland so of course that meant the crab cakes. I had the platter- so good! It comes with coleslaw and fries and was a ton of food for a great price, as well as the sandwhich :overall lovely experience here & its super joyous all around, highly recommended♡
An unexpected surprise. We sampled a medley of lunch offerings, which were all delicious. They are dog friendly and accommodated my pooch with his own bowl of water. We ordered him an off-the-menu grilled diced chicken breast that he gobbled down in record time. 🐕BTW, kudos to the wait staff!
The Duncan sandwich and Cobb Salad are my favorites at Arenas. It is a great family restaurant that offers a lot of specials. This location has an amazing outdoor space by the water and covered by a pergola. Definitely worth trying.
Great Food. We read some reviews when in the area and was glad we did. We decided to stop in. We will go back next time in the area. Our server was knowledgeable about the menu and didnt rush us to order. Nice atmosphere as well.
We always have a great experience at Arenas. The food selection is impressive, they always have interesting and delicious specials, and I can always find a good beer. Cant ask for a better place to grab a bite outside of downtown Rehoboth.
We had a early lunch on a Sunday.we dined outside was great.kids enjoyed it as well
The Big Daddy grilled is amazing. Chris the manger is an amazing guy. Very friendly and knowledgeable and always willing to help with anything no matter how small. Mo and Rachel are phenomenal behind the bar and always make sure you have what you need and will concoct whatever your able to come up with. Just a great place with great people.
Upon arriving to what we thought was the entrance; because it was were everyone was eating outside, we were told to walk around to the other side. Then we had to wait until the “hostess” was ready to attend to us. This is the same person who quickly approached us to tell us to walk around to the other side. Hmmm. She sat us directly across from the bathroom (which we weren’t aware ofbut fortunately another employee, rescued us and moved us to an available booth. I should have just walked out by then. But no, I always give people the benefit of the doubt. The waitress (Danawho eventually served us, did not even try to make small talk. Just took our ordersand didn’t come back until we asked for the check. The food was okay. This was my second visit. I tried. Not ever going back.
Usually love going here. Food and drinks are always good. They recently changed the menu tho. Still have lots of good food. Our service was terrible tho. A young boy served us was extremely rude and was sitting at a table eating with another customer the whole time, didnt check on us once and just didnt speak. I was really disappointed with the service we got there today. Also when I got home my to go food was wrong but other then this I usually have a good time here. Good food. Chill vibe.
We had an appetizer of sweet potato fries and dinner salads. Everything was yummy and our waiter was really fun and friendly. The soda was overpriced and our bill was more than what I would have expected for the atmosphere, but it was very good food.
Homey Beach restaurant, nice craft beer selection. Worth the trip when in the area. Wings are standard, fried, sauced, they do have a very good variety of hot sauces, they gave me 6.The Crab cakes are what they write home about. No filler to speak of, large chunks of crab meat. Free parking.
Delicious! They have as many different food and drink combinations as your heart can desire. And the Lemon Cream Pie is worth every calorie! Great beer selection, too. Whats not to love? Well see you again, Arenas!
Dog friendly! Great service! Good food and great cocktail menu. Server was so sweet to my dog Schooner. Brought out a water bowl for my dog. They will even cook a burger or grilled chicken breast for your dog so they can have a meal too!
Great laid back local place. You name it they have it, breakfast, variety of sandwiches, bar with awesome selections .
A true locals place for casual drinking and or eating. It has several locations, each one similar but with its very own personality because of the clientele and staff. If you are a new to town local, its a great place to make a few new friends. If your visiting, you will feel welcome and comfortable. Prices are reasonable. Breakfast, lunch, dinner and late nights all good.
Vegetarians and vegans have multiple options here. The veggie burgers were a little crispy and very tasty, just the way we like them. A vegetarian sandwich section of the menu made us feel welcome. A variety of other options such as nachos and salads are available, too. Fresh food and really tasty. Its a new favorite for us when were at the Tanger outlets.
Big fan of this place. With different locations its easy and convienant. The deals through the week are awesome. The Saturday morning breakfast buffet at the RT 1 location is awesome. Fresh omelets made to order with fresh meat and veggies. Taco night and half price sandwiches are my favs
Husband and I got mozzarella sticks for starters which was delicious! Nice thick breading plenty of mozzarella inside. Husband got he 1/2 burger and I got the hungry surfer. For me, there’s just too much bread in it. We got the cheese fries too, and that was kinda sad looking and kinda like a they sprinkles shredded cheese on top that solidifies instantly.
Definitely not environmentally conscious! They had plastic straws and styrofoam plates. They food was mediocre expect for the fact that the meatballs in the meatball subs tend to roll of the sandwich and in to your brand new khakis. The best word to describe the service was awkward. Overall, I would recommend this restaurant to someone looking for fast food quality food with the wait time and price of a quality sit down establishment.
Always a great place to go. They have great specials every night of the week. I especially love the shrimp and beer special on Fridays and Saturdays. They also have a great breakfast buffet which is really a bargain!
Visited here on a Sunday afternoon in JanuaryArrived at 1:00 pm and did not receive our food until 1:55 , my husbands food arrived to the table cold and we had to ask them to take it back to be heated up. Came back about 5 min later and was lukewarm. After waiting the first 55 min he decided to just eat it. My granddaughters food was not correct and sent back also. I was told after we asked how much longer for the correct food “what was wrong with it”? Really? Just forget it. Couldn’t get out of there fast enough after that. Guess we will be hitting the drive through on the way home somewhere. Not one time did anyone ask about our experience or if anyone needed anything. I have been coming here for years but will not be returning to this location again. What happened to this place?
The service was terrible. We sat for 15 minutes before even getting menus. Our appetizer took 20 minutes to come out. The death fries were burnt. The chicken in our sandwiches were advertised as grilled, but they resembled rubber as if they were microwaved. This was a very bad experience. Would not go back.
Good food, but had a very bad experience at Arena’s. Visited around 1:15 pm Saturday for lunch and the place was not too busy- but the server (Trevorwas extremely rude - avoided us for over 15 minutes even though he passed our table several times. Finally, a second server who was nicer came by and took our drink order (thanks!). Our server never came by again in between to check on us! Food was served so late, that we had to ask to get it “to go”; sever brought it eventually with no apologies! Completely unacceptable.
This place has good sandwiches. It has a a bar. There is outdoor seating where dogs are welcome. Thursday is $5.00 sandwich day that includes everything except burgers and seafood. There are happy hour specials. It is a family place with multiple locations.
This is a rare find these days in good old Rehoboth. A fun friendly restaurant/bar with some good foods that dont cost a fortune. Theyve developed an extensive sandwich menu: hot, cold and grilled, full of delicious fresh ingredients. Heres a place you wont mind being vegetarian because there is a good selection. Recently I was there on a Saturday and the outside dining was full to capacity and everything other person had a dog. Friendly and accommodating. An extensive beer collection and specialty cocktails too are available. I had a large salad with shrimp and my friend had a salad with chicken salad. Plenty of food. Heres the local secret: Wednesday is half price sandwich night. The place is always packed. Love Arenas!
We are locals and card holders. We started going to Arenas in 1990.In town, No problems (thats were we usually go, now).Highway, no way. I was an everyday customer since Arenas first opened the highway location (next to Big Fish). I stopped about a year ago.I found with this visit things have even gotten worse.Bad service and very unfriendly. The staff seems to be more interested in listening to the blast of their loud "heavy metal" music. The food: My wife ordered her usual, the powerhouse. The sandwich was not made correctly and it had mayonnaise (which she can not eat). It was return and the second wasnt much better.I ordered my usual, the hungry surfer ($10.99!!?? WOW!). It was mostly tough, fatty, one type of meat with little else on a dried out roll.Son ordered crab soup. It was like dish water.Jules was just OK. The other server, she/he was the pits!In my opinion, the owners have lost control of the quality of the food and staff. The staff, seem to be a lower class of folks and dont no how to serve or create a welcoming atmosphere anymore.(please, no reflection on Moe. Shes the best you have at the highway location. Martin, he should be gold to Arenas!)P.S. prices are so too high for what you get!
