3 people working 4 or 5 walking Round in the back 2 additional desks where there could be employees & the line is 9 deep.!employees

We have been to the Sierra Vista MVD office twice in the past two months. Received exceptional service both times. We did make early appts., which helped us get served more quickly than walk-ins. The first time was to apply for a handicapped placard. EZ. Got a temp one until permanent one arrived in the mail a week or two later. Today, Joanna helped us acquire a veteran handicapped license plate. Note: if you are 100% disabled you are entitled to some major disounts. Be sure you have proper credentials. Very pleased. Thank you.

Horrible service I waited about a hour I got informed the wrong information I lost a lot of money for literally nothing.

MVD in Sierras Vista, AZ overtime has evolved to a data entry center. They do not issue drivers license, title, registration etc. They enter data and that data goes to Phoenix and in about a week to 30 days you may or may not get what you requested and paid for. They also do not notify you if the data entry is wrong so when 30 days pass you have to go back in to finds out what happened. In the past you could walk in and get a drivers license, title, registration etc. in less than hour but those days are gone. NOW YOU JUST POOR SERVICE AND LONG WAITS.

Tje first day I went to ADOT, it was very busy and the line was not movingI did not like the inability to make an appointment !!! The next time we went to ADOT, it was when they opened at 7:30am. There was no wait and the staff was so helpful. The staff also informed me that Wednesday is the least busy day of the week. It was awesome to get AZ vehicle registration, drivers license, and register to vote at the same visit.

Even though they had the system down in the morning I came back in the afternoon and they got me through fast and were very nice

Honestly this place is a joke, cant get anything done with these guys and it takes forever to get anything done or get any information. But this is the only place you can get it done without having to drive up to Tucson or Phoenix, plus the people here could care less about helping us.

Frustrating, maddening and completely ineffective handling of customers!Waited in line for 2 hrs while people who made appts online came in and got to cut to the head of the line.Set up 1 window exclusively for appts or people with no appts to allow that line to keep moving. Either way would be more productive and fair than what they have now.

Went in with a problem getting my registration renew. Had call t the main off in Tuson and the person talk to there said he couldnt help and I would have to go to the DMV where I lived. So I went and the lady that assisted my problem was fantastic. She couldnt figure it out either but she try to call the state DMV no one would answer. So she did the only thing that was as close to a solution. She issued me a new license plate. It works . But I still have that question of what happened to my plate. Why was it marked invalid.

Horrible service and an hour long wait. Charged me the incorrect amount prior to deployment, did not consider my paperwork or active duty status. You are much better off going to Ginger’s Title Service.

First, I went to Willcox, where they wanted to charge me an arm. I decided to go elsewhere and Im so happy I did! The wait was short and the price was right.🤩 Thank you, for making my visit worth it.👏

They are trying but theyre short staffed. I would encourage anyone to book an appointment before you go in. Lines can be very long, but having an appointment helps you move ahead.

My family just moved to Sierra Vista from out of state. We went in to get our AZ licenses and register our vehicles. The first time we went in without an appointment and waited in line for over an hour only to be told that we didnt have the right paperwork to get our licenses. The second time we went in we made an appointment to avoid waiting in line so long. I highly recommend doing that. We had a short wait this time and were able to get everything done that we needed. Everyone was very helpful and courteous this time!

If they could make the visit any more confusing and difficult oh, thats exactly what the state would do. There is no place to sit for people like myself who has difficulty standing for long periods of time.

Despite the pine I was seen to quickly. The staff is friendly and works expediently to see customers in a timely manner. This was one of the best if not beat DOTs I have ever used.

Too many customers and Not enough employee to give good service...especially during these times but they were open! NO SEATS to sit on and was tough for the elderly to stand for a long time! Poor Planning on their part!!!Waited 20 minutes and the line didnt move and left to use Gingers Title with faster and much friendlier service...definitely worth the service fee!!!!

I found that DMV now has appointments. Needless to say the line without appointments wound all the way to the back of the room. I stood in that line for nearly an hour and was the 3rd person in line. The person being waited on was still there when I left. This place sucks big time!

Amazing help from the ladies--especially the superviser. Usually my DMV experiences are nightmares. Getting a drivers license and new plates took about 30 minutes because I had an appointment. Some hard working people who do their best to help are working there currently!

Friendly staff, however lines are long. One person working behind the counter one directing. Nine people on average waiting, people walking in looking and leaving. Been waiting already over an hour and still not seen. People with appointments should be seen in one line and have another agent for walk ins, other wise why have walk ins if all agents time is spent on appointments. State of Arizona you can do better then this.

Fast & super friendly service. A completely different experience than Ive ever had with any other DMV or MVD in state & outside.

Simple tasks seem to take 4 or 5 times too long to do. Each person sitting at a counter to get something simple like a license plate or drivers license can expect to sit at the counter for 20 to 30 minutes.NOTHING IS STREAMLINED FOR EFFICIENCY.No chairs for thise waiting in line, probably in order to discourage those waiting in leaving. After standing in line for two hours most people begin to tire of it.Only 2 window positions open, though at least ten are available.

Very pleased!! Had a good experience here. Needed a new plate & title, transfer from out of state. I made an appointment the day before as a walk-in. For the next day. Sure enough, the lady at the desk, gave me, the paperwork that I needed, to be filled out. Highlighted what needed to be returned. Then I returned & it was incredibly fast. Nice, they offer to have you, pay, as far in advance, as five years for registering your vehicle. No charge for title, either like, Gingers. If you want a hard copy. A+

Best DMV experience I have ever had.The lady at the front was so kind and helpful. She made sure to explain everything in detail for me for my future appointment.The next day when I arrived for my appointment she recognized me and welcomed me back.I spent about 30 minutes in line. When I went through the process it was quick and easy. The staff was very professional.

Appointments mean nothing. I got in an hour after my scheduled time! The young lady who took care of me was great! Pleasant and professional!

While the staff were nice enough, the idea of having to call and make an appointment wasnt appeasing to me but I did it. Then when I get there, my appointment time was behind a "short line". What is the point of having an appointment when you still are waiting in a line? Not happy with the masks, the appointment system that didnt work. Need to go back to the old system!

Long wait to just get another paper plate. One customer taken care of at a time when the other person has to do driving test. Waste of paper for the environment and a waste of time for the customer. The desk personnel are slow and never have a sense of expediency about themselves. New system sucks to the max!

Very professional staff. Wish there had been at least 1 more clerk to help things go faster, but the staff on hand was awesome.

Huge office with desks for many people and a huge parking lot too with no one there except one clerk. Really I couldnt believe it. Said only by appt. Never seen nor heard of a motor vehicle office like that especially in a town of 45,000 people. She actually told me to go to this titling place on the other side of town where they do MVD work and charge you for it. I waited in line there for over an hour. Cant believe the state of AZ. lets them treat the public like this.

Been here a few times over the last couple of months for different vehicles. Every time Ive had excellent service, no issues. Best D.O.T Ive been to in my many states of travel.

Very helpful, and pleasant. I did make an appointment and wasnt seen to late from the start time. Ive got to deduct a star for the lack of seating (there use to be more provided). Why the line system when they have check in numbers?

I renewed my driver’s license and was impressed with how quickly they processed it. The woman helping people as they lined up really helped get the eye exam and photo done in short order. A very well run system. Thanks to all the people that work there.

I wish I could give no stars. Im sorry but your in the field of customer service there is no reason to be rude. You are there to service your customers. The womans desk I was at was so rude to me the whole time and got irritated when I said, I had one more questions. No wonder they are making it so must easier to do having thing online.

Coming from NC and having to wait 3+ hours for help with drivers license and license plate. This was amazing service. We were in and out within 45 minutes. The ladies were super efficient and very friendly as well.

Great service both times I’ve come in. I was fortunate they weren’t busy either time. They had just restarted their system as it had been down all morning and took me in right away to see if it would work and it had. Very friendly even when I pointed out a mistake on my paperwork and fixed it with no hassle.

Super fast but I dont care much for the newest change in no seating. Maybe its a temporary thing but waiting in line with a bad back, knees or legs is not pleasant. So before you go, know that you may have to stand in line and wait for a window to open. If you can make an appointment for what you need, I recommend it. Again, the line was pretty fast. I think we stood for about 15 minutes.

Employees are helpful and knowledgeable. Theyre always polite despite all the impatient people. Wait times can be a bit long, but Ive never felt it was unreasonable given the number of staff vs customer ratio.

I have never seen a more lackadaisical staff than the one at the Sierra Vista MVD the woman do everything with minimal effort/out put and walk as if they have just eaten a huge thanksgiving dinner... There was ONE woman who walked as if she was being paid and gave us not only friendly but PROMPT service. (McDonalds is friendly & faster than this place)

2 people working windows with a dozen of us waiting and growing by the minute! Already been here 20+ minutes and no one has moved. This office has got worse and worse over the years! And the "supervisor" here knows absolutely nothing if you need help with special circumstances or difficult questions.I spoke too soon..... were now down to ONE window open!!!!! This place is lunacy.
