Armin Kamyab, MD in Barry County

I would NOT send my dead animals to this joke, his bedside manner was downright deplorable and demeaning, he didnt listen to my concerns or anything that I had to say. I was at Cox South with a gallstone in the neck of my gallbladder that needed to be removed on 11/5 and 11/6. I told him that I would feel comfortable if he proceeded with the surgery while I was already admitted and he refused to do so and dismissed me to go home however I ended up back at Cox South ER this morning 11/7 with the same issue only it had gotten much worse. I am now awaiting surgery with a much better surgeon that actually knows what theyre doing. I would highly recommend that you go elsewhere and not to this joke.

My husband recently received care in this office. Dr. K is nice and has great bedside manner. Their secretary and nurse however are on a power trip. They are rude, argumentative, and hateful. They act like it will kill them to just do their jobs. I would not recommend going to this facility because of this. Even though the PA and Doctor are nice and knowledgeable you have to go through the receptionist first and that isn’t pleasant at all. We are paying customers and deserve better treatment.

Dr. Kamyab is a HUGE Plus for the Cox Monett Healthcare System. He took care of me yesterday for an elective procedure that I had long procastinated on. His bedside manner and his genuine caring for me as his patient will encourage me to keep him on my list of medical professionals. He spent time with me, making sure I understood everything, then returned to my room after the procedure making sure I was OK! Why make that horrible drive to the big city when Dr. Kamyab is right here ? The nurses and other medical professionals in Cox Monett General Surgery were all very pleasant and caring also. All they need is a new state of the art hospital then this review will be 110%! Thank you Doctor for taking such good care of me.
