Arp Foot & Ankle Clinic in Baxter County

I cant give enough thanks to Dr.Arp who fixed what 2 other orthopedic foot and ankle specialist (one of them supposed to be the states besthad not fixed properly through a series of five other surgeries on my left foot. As a nurse, mom, and wife being on my feet continuously. I needed help and did some research and wanted a minimally invasive procedure that is only offered in Arkansas by Dr.Arp who is 2 hours away. I felt it was worth to give minimally invasive a try to help with the pain that was affecting my job and life at home. Scheduled an appt with Dr.Arp and was more than devastated when I was told minimally invasive surgery wasnt an option for me. He reassured me that he could do the reconstructive surgery I needed and was sorry for all Id been through. He told me that day that he understood cause and effect. He was worried about the long term as well as the short term. He explained things thoroughly and was willing to answer all my many questions - think he might have missed his lunch that day or had a short one. Dr.Arp has fixed my left foot that I had named Murphy (after Murphys lawthat had been a problem since a severe ankle sprain in 2016. Driving 4 hours round trip for appointments and surgery has been well worth the expense and time spent driving. If you have any foot or ankle problems I highly recommend a trip to Dr.Arp!

Dr Arp realigned my heel and corrected my hammer toes.Before the surgery I was not healing from a torn ligament in that foot, but afterwards, with everything aligned properly my foot has healed and I can now walk comfortably.I give Dr Arp and his office staff along with the surgical team in Mountain Home the highest rating. I have also personally talked to a friend who has undergone a similar procedure by Dr Arp and is also very happy with the results.I can whole heartily recommend Dr Arp and his group for taking care of your foot ailments.Thank you John Maxwell

Very quick service, in and out in less than 50 minutes. Dr. Arp was able to pinpoint the issue and explain it to me in detail and fix it within minutes!

Absolutely rude staff and doctor. Waited 2 hours after appointment time.Questions about treatment where unanswered and brushed off. Had to reschedule other appointments that now cost more in fuel. Very disappointed.

Wife was misdiagnosed, suffered several months of pain until proper diagnosis by another Dr. Will not go back, will not recommend to others.

Beware your payments you make to this office do not reflect on your statement you receive. Worst booking system I have ever heard of. Bills just keep coming. Last office visit to this place for me.

As a patient, I think Doctor Arp is the best when it comes to foot care. His surgical skills and knowledge of how to fix not only the cause but, the effect as well is key to his success. Thank you, Dr Arp!

I had surgery almost 2 yrs ago and still cant wear a shoe after my surgery I was moneyed to death every visit after to buy products from their office if I had to give my opinion I would STAY AWAY!!!!!!

Its been a little more than a year now since Dr.Arp repaired my foot. I had a bunion, a hammer toe with a corn on top, and the other toes were crooked. Im just as happy today with the results as I was then. I still have to sit and admire my foot! I can walk so, so much better! Dr. Arp is one of a kind! I would recommend him to anyone who has foot problems.

On Tuesday morning, June 1, I called and chose option 2 to speak with the insurance coordinator. I ended up leaving a detailed message regarding a procedure I wanted done and asked for confirmation if my insurance would cover it and if not to quote me a cash price. Late Thursday afternoon, June 3, I had not received any call back after the completion of nearly 3 business days. I decided to write a Google review indicating I didn’t feel important to them. On Friday, June 4, Kim, the office manager, called me to discuss the review. She told me they had no voicemail from me. She told me they were looking into it and made an appointment for me to see Dr Arp at 8:15 this morning, June 7. I arrived promptly and was placed in a room. At about 9:00, Dr Arp comes in and he too wanted to discuss the review. I told him I had taken it down because Kim had responded to it and I felt we were back on track. Apparently, Dr Arp does not like honest negative reviews, he said, “That’s my reputation.” I said, “I know, that’s why I use reviews, to get the attention I need.” He told me to find another Podiatrist and wished me good luck and walked out.That’s fine Dr Arp, you have every right to not see patients at your discretion, just like I have every right to find one who is responsive and professional. Making me wait 45 minutes so you could come in and tell me to find care elsewhere wasn’t necessary, or professional in my opinion. Maybe you live in a fantasy land where your business runs perfectly 100% of the time and no one better dare bring up what may be wrong.This wasn’t my first issue with this practice and while I had Kim on the phone on Friday, I brought up my EOB (Explanation of Benefitindicating I was overpaying for the past 17 months and I inquired why I wasn’t being given the credit after insurance settled the claims. She offered to email billing and provide me an answer today. While waiting for Dr Arp this morning, she came into my room and told me I was due a credit and gave me the amount. Only they can tell you why they don’t provide the credit after insurance settles the claims, so I encourage all his patients to delve into your EOBs closely to make sure you too aren’t being overcharged.Thanks for wasting my time today, Dr Arp. I too wish you good luck! I wouldn’t stick my head that far in the sand in the future, after all, this is your reputation.

When I was 14, June 2014, I had a bone spur in the tip of my big toe. My nail would grow into my toe and it was painful. Instead of solving the spur itself, Dr. Arp opted to remove the cuticle from the sides of my nail bed, so all these years later, it looks like a rock is growing out of my toe. It still grows into my spur but now I can’t even cut it because the nail is so bulbous and grows in sideways. I was a minor and so my opinion of the matter wasn’t considered, and now I have this ugly and obnoxious deformity.

The staff and Dr Arp was truly amazing he has given me a better quality of life I went from not being able to walk without heel pain to very minimum I will be forever grateful for the Arp Foot and Ankle Clinic. It’s worth the 3 hour drive for me🥰🥰🥰🥰🥰🥰

Cant possibly say enough good things about the service from both Dr. Arp, and his staff, the ladies that work in the Mt. Home clinic are 1st rate.I had a persistent wound on my foot that I messed with for years, Dr. Arp, and his staff had me fixed up in no time.

After 3 years of pain, I finally decided to change foot doctors and visited Dr. Arp in Harrison. In just a few minutes he told me what my problem was and what was needed to fix the situation. After a minor surgical procedure, I was walking without pain and without limping for the first time in 3 years!! Most impressed with the fact that Dr. Arp took the time to explain to me what my problem was in laymans terms, and why the procedure was necessary. I would highly recommend Dr. Arp and his friendly staff without hesitation.

Loved the atmosphere here! Dr. Arp along with his staff are very friendly and helpful. Dr. Arp is very knowledgeable about what he does & helped my road to recovery go smoothly. Couldn’t have asked for a better doctor!

I had an infection between two toes and a bad callous that wouldn’t go away. Dr Arp took care of it quickly, efficiently and fairly painlessly. He and his staff are very professional and friendly and I highly recommend them!

Dr. Arp did surgery on my foot and all went very well. My only complaint was that he did not discuss what he would do or recovery time with me before hand. His staff is great and informative. I have the other foot that will need surgery soon and he is my man!

My wife and I have been seeing Dr. Arp every since he as been inMountain Home. No matter what the problem, he can spot it in asecond and fix it. He has a great sense of humor and makes me laugh even through the pain. We find his staff to be professional and efficient.

My Achilles tendons and have been hurting for 3 years now and finally was sent to see Dr Arp 1.5 months ago. he seemed very knowledgeable but it took 1 month to get a mri done, that was 2 weeks ago and still waiting for my results. I only give 3 stars cause its taking so long, maybe I am just being impatient cause I am tired of hurting, that being said I do like the doctor and staff all was kind and friendly. Turns out my insurance was dragging their feet so I am changing my rating to a 5 star

I have yet seen Dr. Arp, but let me tell you these reviews being so great I hope are pushing me in the right direction. I have Severe back pain, and my feet, and ankles over the last 2 years have gotten so bad that sometimes I cant stand let alone walk, a constant severe ache and extreme tightness, that tingles yet feeling like they are being crushed and are right at the point they feel like it would break the bone and tear a muscle or ligament when I try to stretch them out, I went from being able to run like an Olympic sprinter to wobbling when I walk, like a zombie, my movement and flexibility in my feet and ankle are almost null! I am getting so tired of dealing with this pain, but I do push thru it every day, how I dont know, at times it is extreme and unbearable that I lie in bed for my whole 2 days off in a row. And then you put my spine and back pain on top of it and quality of life is a zero with a 9-10 pain score just from moving. I am going to call today, and hope and pray for the best. At least knowing I wrote this I wont be at a loss of words , I have tried to explain this to my physician so many times, and asked for imaging on feet and ankles for the first time along with my back again, just to be denied. I just want to know whats wrong with me, for 2 years and thru 30 plus visits, I have not been successful in a determination, except for some indigenous arthritis and vertebra problems, but it feels as if everything down to my feet included has deteriorated more and more by the day. Gonna try to make an appointment.

Dr. Arp is a very knowledgeable doctor who sincerely cares about his patients, an has wonderful bedside manner. I would consider him to be the #1 pediatrist in the Ozarks.

5-6-2018I respect Dr. Arp by being on time for my app, he should respect my time as well. 1 hour 10 min. just to get called back to be told he is with someone and 2 others are ahead of me still, and to be told my x-rays are not good, he never looked at them how does he know they are not good enough.5-8-2018I am so sorry about the young boy, I know him mom is very worried. I hope he is ok.l understand things come up out of your control. It probably would help to let patients know when they first check in when your running SO very far behind.At that point they can make a decision to stay or reschedule.I was not rude, nor was I loud, I simply left so the others in the waiting room would get a chance to see you sooner.I do know the LONG waiting time in pretty routine.

Dr. Arp listened to me patiently as I tried to explain the pain I was having. He understood, and knew exactly what I needed. I would highly recommend him. All of his staff were very helpful and friendly. My only regret is that I did not go to see him sooner!

Wouldnt trust my feet or families to anyone else. As a nurse and family to patients Ive seen him at work and hes the best. He cares and dies whats best. He knows his stuff. His staff is sweet and professional and very helpful. Its a down to earth atmosphere and the office is immaculate.
