Really crazy. But when this staff sees so many people and patients, but they still have time to call you by name, and walk over to hug you. That means so much when a patient like myself so sick and always in pain gets a hug. LOVE ALL OF YOU...
I gave 3 stars. I see Dr. Mona for thyroid issues. While I havent experienced the rudeness from anyone, as others are experiencing, or long wait times; I gave 3 stars because I do feel Dr. Mona could do a better job at looking outside the box a little in terms of diagnosis of concerns. That being said, I struggled between a 3 or 4 star review. The staff has always been friendly, timely, and I always get my blood work results the next day. (I have to have a blood draw every three months to check my thyroid levels). I have great insurance and didnt know it was a low income clinic until after I started going. That being said, I havent had a horrible experience and I continue to go there and have for 3 years.
Both previous reviews are spot on...endless telephone tree...unnecessary appointments... and even on your death bed they have to see you to get any help and thier earliest appointment will be the following Monday or Tursday.. in one case all I was seeking was a refill of common steroid theyd previously prescribed NOT an antibodic or narcotic...
I wouldn’t recommend this place to anyone. I’ve seen them for healthcare and dentistry and both are terrible. I have called their offices so many times running in endless circles with them and leaving messages only to get no where. It also takes forever to get an appointment and they even rescheduled my own appointment 6 months back for no reason.
made an appointment for dentist took off work got there and they dont see my appointment. I traveled 45 minutes was not pleased
Dr Gloria pretty much just dismissed my symptoms and concerns. I would never recommend that kind of service to anyone needing medical help
Go elsewhere if able.I do not recommended nurse Paul. Recently moved so thought Id find I local PCP. Went in for prescription medications and informed with specifics what I was taking. Got to pharmacy to find the wrong form of the medication was filled. Called the office and left a message informing him of the error. Days later, after no call back, I call back to find Paul had left a note on my chat saying I needed to schedule a new appointment even though the error was his. Left another message and never heard back. From the few times of seeing nurse Paul I have left 4 or 5 messages without ever reciving any callbacks.Doctor Mona always seems to be in a rush. Once went in with sinus issues and she never looked at my sinuses. Bad communication. Both listening to patients and calling back with lab results. Schedules unnecessary visits just to reiterate results provided over the phone. First time Ive had a doctor give up trying to find out whats wrong with me.Schedules are rude. I missed two calls from doctor Mona she had made within the same hour. I called back when I was available and the scheduler said, "Well whats a good number youll actually answer cause she tried calling you twice?" I almost went off. Clearly if someone cant answer the phone from their doctor THEY ARE BUSY/INDISPOSED/AWAY FROM PHOME. Take lessons in GOOD customer service. It costs $0 to be nice.

Receptionists were helpful, dr was in a rush, told me “gargle salt water” before even checking if I had been tested for strep. And then after I got my test back she said “you can go now” girl what lol
The staff are very rude. This place must be accepting government grants in order to stay open? I would never recommend this place.
Dr Mona was in such a rush that she didn’t actually listen to me. Said she’d put meds in during my appointment and when I went to pharmacy 6 days later they weren’t there. The Nurse called her because apparently one needed to be a script which she said she’d write, so of course since I was there I said I’d wait but 5 minutes later when the nurse went to get the script Dr Mona had just left 🤷🏻♀️ The front desk couldn’t figure out how to add my Tricare insurance. Pharmacy doesn’t even take Tricare for retirees which I didn’t really understand. Oh and front desk individuals in Dr Monas office were openly discussing and judging other patients income in front of me stating that they thought the person shouldn’t qualify for the sliding payment scale, so rude and honestly ignorant because I’m not sure how any family could really afford full medical care out of pocket with a $25K annual income! Cannot recommend this clinic to anyone who has a choice to go anywhere else, and as I do I will not be going back.
I would rather pull out my own tooth, than have to speak or deal with the receptionist here. Dr. Moreno is great, but this location is always running way behind and despite numerous complaints they do nothing about their rude staff. I’m switching doctors ASAP. To the rude staff, it doesn’t take much to be kind sis. It doesn’t make your day better to be ugly or snippy to others.
Any time I try to call I get hung up on. So unprofessional and rude!

I come here for dental care and Dr Garcia and his entire staff are phenomenal! Very helpful, friendly, affordable, clean and timely. Absolutely love this place

Fraudulent medical records and Dr. Mona offered to change them! Why are they giving this clinic a grant? They are committing fraud!
So I just had surgery on Friday and they took two organs out. My hemoglobin was 11 prior to surgery and the day after was 9. Which is expected. But now 5 days later I’m very tired and dizzy with a fast heart rate. I asked to be seen so that we could check my hemoglobin levels. Some doctors want to do a blood transfusion at 8 but at 7 they hospitalize you and give you two pints. The person I spoke to said that she could work me in but I can’t talk about my anxiety or anything. It had to only be about my hemoglobin and blood CBC draw.I felt very disrespected. And she said if I didn’t come in today that they couldn’t work me in for another week. Um.... what school did you go to because I did just have surgery and I did have two organs out and I am symptomatic. You would think that a client that has been coming here for a year would want to be checked out to make sure the body is bouncing back. Smh. 🤦🏼♀️🤦🏼♀️🤦🏼♀️

This place was amazing! They got my father in so fast! Brittany at the front dest was so helpful!!! We were a walk in and they had him seen within 10 minutes. Its very clean. I would definitely recommend coming here.
Dr. Mona was so unprofessional when she exam me the last time. She made feel horrible an embarrassed to be there. I would not have this doctors advice about anything.

Horrible health care ! Gloria Galligos doesnt keep correct records and Dr. Mona said I had a blood sugar level of 17 yet didnt tell me to go to the hospital, allowed me to wait the whole weekend until Monday to see her. Took me off meds. And I became sick for it. 17 is critical I could have died! They need to evaluate Gloria and Dr. MONA as well as the medical asst. Mary .

This was the worst place to go to. Staff are rude talking about the clinic and how much they are expected to do this year. Very un-organized, and thats sad considering that they are the first people the clients see. If you dont like your job, quit and dont work with the community. Or find another job its not our fault your employer is expecting things out of yall or not giving yall the days yall want off. And then to talk about it and we can hear you. If I can give no stars it would be no stars!
Will wait for ever even with an appt. Drs arent very helpful if you have no insurance. Its a clinic for indigent not a healthcare center
This is more so the doctor that has me upset. Dr Moreno I believe is her name. She was at My Kids in Pleasanton. When her office was transferring over to Firefly they kept pushing back my sons appointment because they never ordered the immunizations (because they knew they were transferring over, yet never communicated this with their patients). She then left Firefly ‘so abruptly’ (according to the reps at Fireflythey didn’t have a chance to switch over their records. My son was then seen at 9 months old at Firefly by a male Ped. Don’t remember his name but he was amazing. We have since moved and I’m trying to get access to my sons shot records as well as make 100% sure he’s up to date to get him enrolled in daycare. Firefly has stated that they don’t have access to her records and that you have to contact ATASCOSA HEALTH CENTER. Firefly also said everything was done electronically, and they have numerous patients getting the run around. When you call Atascosa Health Center they tell you that the records are hard copies and they are in storage and they have no idea when they’ll have access to the records. This wouldn’t be a problem if Dr Moreno wasn’t lazy at My Kids and just uploaded the shots to ImmTrac, but clearly that would be too much work for her. I am in contact with the office manager for Atascosa so let’s hope this gets resolved.
First time going to an OB Doctor here. Horrible communications skills between receptionist at Dr. Glorias office (the one who handles the calls after they transfer you& patient. I left about 4 messages on their answering machines and no one ever calls you back. She also hung up on me after she put me on hold she picked up the phone and hung up. I will defiantly be looking for a different place to go to. Never in my life have I ever had such a bad experience before.
