I am a contractor and I work exclusively with Justin. My customers enjoy interacting with him when they are choosing any type of flooring or wall tile because they all say that he is easy to work with, knowledgeable and never pushy. I am able to confidently send customers to meet with Justin knowing that they will leave having a good experience which in turn makes me look good as well!

My salesman Justin in the Wilmington store does a great job meeting with my customers and guiding them through the flooring package for my new construction homes. Paperwork is sent as soon as the selections are made and he keeps up with the delivery of the materials. My only complaint is not with Justin but with the changing prices after selections are made and confirmed. I realize we are in an inflationary economy and a 10%increase can be absorbed in the overall project, however a 40 % increase after 3 months affects the entire job in a negative way. I only wish there is a way to lock in pricing.

Justin has been my sales person for a few years now ,has always done a great job in getting my materials on time and getting me the best price available on my bulk schluter products and my setting materials. He does a great job answering my questions even on his days off. Thanks Justin

I called Avalon and had the pleasure of getting Christy on the phone. She was very professional and courteous in helping me with my issue. I had to add a section of backsplash to a customers existing kitchen. I couldn’t locate the tile anywhere. Not only did Christy locate the tile but she also had it ordered and in my hands in a week. Talk about impressive. If I could give her 10 stars on this review I certainly would. This was my first time dealing with this Avalon because it’s an hour from my house but I’ll gladly drive the hour to give them my business from here on out. If you need tile, flooring etc call Christy!! I guarantee you won’t find a better rep in the tri-state area.

The sales reps at Avalon are extremely helpful and patient with helping you achieve the design you have in mind. Picking up the material was super easy as well, especially Jermaine in the North Wilmington location, being careful, courteous, and friendly while loading our car in the extreme heat of summer.

I went to Avalon for a small tile project. A nice gentleman named Rob Hudson helped me with my choices. When I went to pick up Mr. Hudson was not there and a nice man named Jonathan helped me. From the second I walked in the store, Shuk went above and beyond to help me find the right carpet for my home. She went over the different fibers and brands of carpet, and helped guide me to options in my price range. She took extra time to help me find something that I loved, and to explain how much each element of the process costs (existing carpet removal, install, stairs, etc.). Shuk is so knowledgeable, kind, and patient. I immediately felt like I was in great hands with her!!! The showroom is beautiful and well organized.. overall we are so happy we went with Avalon flooring!

Avalon had the most choice and quality of tiles I was able to find in this area. Their sales person Shuktara and Russ was very helpful in helping me put details on my choice for backsplash. My husband and I were at the end of a lengthy kitchen renovation (pandemic supply issueswith the backsplash as the last thing to finish. I had gone to a number of tile stores but was unable to find what I thought would fit.We stopped by Avalon Flooring in Wilmington and was assisted by Shuktara. She was very, very helpful. She asked a number of questions, looked at our kitchen photos and was able to steer us in the right direction. When I walked into the store the first thing that I noticed was the huge selection of flooring, carpeting and tiles. This made it very easy for me and my family to find what we were looking for in a hardwood floor. Rob was informative, insightful and helpful when we were matching flooring to our cabinets. Our backsplash installation couldn’t have gone better! Galena and Peter tore out the old tiles, replaced the drywall, and installed the new tiles in one day. We were amazed! They were so helpful with the placement of the tiles over the stove. We love the work they did. All of Avalon Flooring staff were wonderful. From beginning to end, we were pleased and very satisfied!

Used them many times always very pleased. Over the years I had several people from Avalon come out to the house to measure up the job. However I always ask them to send Tim. He is by far the most knowledgeable and full of useful information you never even considered when ordering up materials. As for the installation our bathroom went from old to new in no time at all. Ill always use Avalon Flooring, with their selection and great pricing, no need to go anywhere else.
