Went to bakers for power washing attachments and hoses.... they had everything we needed

Great hardware store. Came here because I could not find what I wanted at Lowes across the highway. The staff were friendly and very helpful. They carried the items I wanted. Furthermore I needed an air filter for a mower but did not know the part number or the serial number of the mower. The gentleman in the mower section took the time to listen to my description and on the third try came up with the correct filter. I have searched other stores and this one is the only one carrying this filter.

If you want to deal with knowledgeable people to help you with what you need this is the place to GO!!!

The Best Hardware store around! It is run like a Ma & Pa business despite being a chain store. Youll have zero problems finding help from the kind, engaged employees. You dont need handheld GPS to navigate the premises. And they have everything a hardware store should have. Bakers Hardware store is not a lumber yard or garden center. Ace is the place for T. C. B. and GTD! Taking Care of Business and Getting Things Done.

I wish I could give no stars. I brought my chainsaw in to be fixed. They called me and said it was unable to be fixed. The labor that they charge is $98 PER HOUR. Total rip of !!! Beware of bringing in something to be fixed. You could probably buy a new one after their outrageous labor charges. And that is not a typo. Labor charge is $98/hour. Think and check other places to have your equipment checked or fixed

I came right at the end of their business day and was in need of a chainsaw to fix a fallen tree problem by my driveway - the guy in the chainsaw section was super helpful and friendly, mentioned a Husqvarna Military Discount of 10% and helped me choose the right saw for me. Definitely a one stop shop for serious outdoor equipment. Highly recommend

Best selection of tree climbing / arborist equipment on the peninsula. They carry Rock Exotica, Teufelberger, DMM, Weaver, ect. Nice selection of rope & hitch cord as well as mechanical ascenders like the Akimbo and Uniscender.

Gotta love hometown folks w knowledge competing w Lowes across the road. Best little town place w all your needs. Look here first! Little guys know their products and staff has it waiting if you call in an order!

Go there for parts for my line trimmer and riding lawnmower. Also get pellets for my pellet grill. All good service and have parts I need in stock.

Everyone is always so helpful and friendly! Just purchased a new riding mower and the time was taken to explain everything I needed to know, and all my questions were answered. They also take care of registration and warranty for you.

What a wonderful hardware store! Very helpful and knowledgeable staff. I was very impressed with the selection of Jonathan Green grass seed and fertilizers.

Recently purchased a riding mower from Bakers and had them deliver. I left work to come meet them and didnt get a chance to look the mower over well before heading back to work. That evening I went to look over the mower and saw a large gash across the back frame of the mower that was down to bare metal. I called Bakers immediately the following day and informed them. Without any hesitation, they told me they would come retrieve the mower and bring us a different one. I couldnt be more pleased with the customer service and how quickly they resolved the issue. Thanks, Bakers!

Stay away from buying or servicing a mower at this place. They are a ripoff. AND dont buy a Husqvarna mower. My mower is 4 years old and has been repaired no less than 6 times, each time with a bill of over $100. Took the mower to a local small engine repair shop and they told me Bakers ripped me off. Dont buy here.

Anything that you might need, they most likely have it. Not overpriced. Same pricing as the big box stores.The staff is very knowledgeable and always willing to help.

Theyre always so helpful and I have found things that the big stores were out of.... They have a great selection of yard equipment (residential and commercial). They do repairs too.

Very nice interesting store. I went to rent a stump grinder, staff was pleasant and friendly. They helped me load the grinder up and how to use it. I will definitely rent from them again!

Excellent local hardware store. Found exactly what we needed. That we could not find in the much bigger box store. Clean, plenty of friendly experienced help. Who didnt bother us as we browsed through their store. I have been in many small local Hardware stores. This is best!

Great hardware store. We are new to the Millsboro area, I have been in Bakers Hardware several times and the staff has always been courteous and knowledgeable about the items in your store. I definitely plan to shop there in the future.

Purchased a zero turn from them. The best staff ever. They have a great selection on everything. Very professional and clean store. They are worth every penny. You get what you pay for. They are quality. I drove an hour away to visit and it was worth the trip. Thumbs up to the store manager and owner.

Bakers is a great alternative to the big box hardware stores. Prices arent that far off the mark and they make up for it in service. If you cant find what you need to fix it or rent it here, you probably dont need it. Friendly, knowledgeable staff and very well organized.

Good experience. Easily found the items that I was looking for in a timely manner. There was an associate on the floor when I had a question about a seasonal item and he provided a quick and knowledge answer. I would definitely shop here in the future.

The hardware part of the store (front partis awesome. They have everything and then some. Staff is friendly and helpful. The power equipment part of the store (rear partis a joke. Wanted to have 4 go-kart tires 6” dismounted from the rims so I can refinish the rims. One guy said they can’t do it. The other guy jumped in and said, “well we can do it for $20 a rim”. Really? It’s a go-kart, not a Cadillac.

I had been looking for a specific light bulb for weeks. When I came into this hardware store I wasnt expecting much. This was about the 10 th place I tried. I was greeted at the door, which I love. When I got to the bulb aisle the young man was so helpful. He opened a package and tested the bulb for me. It was perfect. I appreciated him going that extra mile. I will definitely drive 15 miles just to get that kind of service. Thank you.

Go here frequently for supplies for work. Prices are halfway decent plus since theyre in Delaware shopping is tax free. Have rental service too so I can rent a stump grinder for the day and return it the following day when they open. I dont give anyone five stars cuz I always feel theres room for improvement somewhere. Customer service can always be improved upon for instance.

Bakers hardware has some of the best customer service around the guys back in the service department are the best. Their knowledge about the equipment they sell Is outstanding. Their technicians that Do their repairs do great work .
