Brilliant fun, friendly staff. Everyone enjoyed it, children and adults alike. The soft play area is also a huge hit.Recommended for a rainy day in the Pembroke/Tenby/Carmarthen area
A great evenings bowling with my family. Food and drink are pretty expensive here (although excellent quality from what I could seeso we just had one drink each and an hours worth of bowling. Great fun!
Wonderfully maintained facility, nice staff. Food was only alright, the burger was very overcooked.
Its definitely bowling. The negative side is it is FULL of screaming and unhinged children. You take your life into your hands. The service is slow and awful, waited over an hour for a pot of tea, when i went over the worker wouldnt let me carry the tray. Had a milkshake and it was beyond awful and waited 20 minutes for that too. I went again on a quiet day and we got our drinks one at a time with weird 10-15 minute delays. The staff are all about 15 and its honestly painful. Bowling is alright has some funny short clips for the family to have a laugh with. Definitely book in advance if youre going. If you have 5 people its very cramped and if all the aisles are empty they will place another set of players right next to you instead of spreading people out. Oh and EVERYTHING is sticky. Enjoy
Brilliant project and a great place to stop off through your travels.
It has everything for everyone to have fun. The burger is delicious 😋
Great service and great place to go with kids
Brilliant value for money! Had a wonderful bowling session and stayed for food afterwards. Food was lovely and reasonable. Staff a really great here, and really polite. Will definetly back soon x
Took two kids under 10 here during the Summer Holidays, on a weekday, at about 2pm. Wasn’t really sure what to expect looking at it from the outside, but there was a really good atmosphere as soon as we walked in through the door. We booked online that morning, and thankfulky managed to book in 3 games. As we ‘checked-in’, we heard staff telling someone there was a 3-hour wait for the next free lane as they hadn’t booked - which is understandable - so we were glad that we booked that morning. The place was huge and much more exciting than I thought it may have been. There was a huge menu and assortment of treats and drinks; we didn’t get hot food, but the burgers did look nice. There were lots of combinations of Slushies and ice cream that you could get, which was great for the kids.We were moved to a different lane as we were a tad earlier than our alloted time slot, and the people on that lane had already finished, so we got to start a bit earlier. On entering our names into the machine, we could take silly/sad/funny pictures to show up on the board. After every bowl, loads of animations appeared on screen with our photos cropped into them. Some were hilarious, and really added to the fun and excitement! Our lane had some technical issues with the pin-mechanisms, but staff were really quick to respond and were really helpful in making sure it worked again. The softplay was a bit of fun after our games, as was the small arcade. Will definitely look at coming here again when we are next in the area.
Great place to go with the kids and the food is good. Kids loved it.
Visited xcel bowling the other afternoon had a fab time bowling with hubby and daughter. And prices were reasonable too. Will definitely be going back.
Great , bowling , food is banging nice for the family
This is the place to go with the kids. This place is an excellent stop great concessions for kids, bowl and lunch £12 ,I thought this was great value and it is half price with the concession. The staff are so helpful and friendly, a coffee was knocked over and replaced with no hassle. The duty manager was so helpful and informative. Five stars is an understatement for this kids zone. £4.50 for the kids lunch is a great deal on its own.
Great little place. Cheap kids prices for bowling with meal included. Soft play is very small but OK for younger kids to have a run about. 11 year old was too big to enjoy but allowed to play (up to 12), younger children enjoyed it.Bowling had great little cartoons to keep kids entertained with their faces on.Staff extremely friendly. Asd friendly.
Excellent ten pin bowling experience. Clean and tidy and well run. The graphics on the TV s were superb and hilarious. Really enjoyed it .
It was good but no face masks or any social distancing at all. I wore a maskThe bowling balls were extremely sticky tooThe food was nice and decent 👌As I left the bowling area with my friends a big group of kids came over and the area wasnt even wiped down.Well things do have to get back to some normality sometime
Great place to go bowling with family and friends. They also have a good selection of food and snacks
Love this place. Used to take youth here years ago and its still a great place. Not expensive, meal options and fun snacks. Great ethos and knowing that profits go into local support and provision is great! We loved the bowling 🎳 and the videos after each go were hilarious with our kids.Parking was great and easy. Shop down the road and information on the support services are available everywhere. Friendly staff and clean toilets are always a good way of checking its cleanlinessWe will come back again
Good atmosphere and good value for money food everyone old and young enjoyed
Excellent!! Great venue, food and drink on hand. Staff are superb, really friendly and helpful 😀
Reasonably priced bowling, decent lanes and equipment. Food was decent and pretty quick coming out.Arcade games need updating, but generally are working better now than before. Friendly service.
ATMOSPHERE: 9/10KID FRIENDLY?: yesSEATING: 8/10FOOD: yesFUN: yesYou have to book an hour slot, so with 4 novice adult players we got about 1 and a half rounds in, which was good. Slots tend to fill up quickly through the day so you might need to book a few days in advance. There is a childrens play area, small arcade corner and about 10 lanes for bowling, as well as an area for eating.Even though all of the lanes were in use, we could still hear eachother well enough over the sounds of the games and music :)
Holidaying in the area and visited here on a rainy day. Really enjoyed our visit. We did the 1hr bowling with 2 adults and there children aged 13 - 7. The photos that appear on the score card and cartoons was really good and we all enjoyed watching them. Prices for the bowling and drinks were good and staff were excellent. If we didnt live 200+ miles away we would definitely be here again soon. Was also surprised to see its a charity run thing as well which was an added bonus.
Visited her for a birthday celebration whilst being on holiday and was really impressed with the whole experience. Staff seemed very kind and helpful. Ordered some food and was very impressed by the potion sizes especially for the prices too! Thank you.
Great fun! Hadnt gone bowling in a while, but thoroughly enjoyed it.
Always fabulous service and very friendly staff and manager. Definitely worth a visit for those with young children who want 5 mins peace to drink their coffee (whilst children roll in soft play)
Has fun bowling. The lane is well buffed so great for spin bowls. The balls arent amazing but it is what it isThey serve slushies and food. Not many "deals" on, my local one has loads of different offers so 1 star down for that and the ballsBut if you want to go bowling it has everything you need
Brilliant place, well looked after and really good price. The staff are lovely and coffee is very nice.
ABSOLUTELY 💯 awesome fun night had as a familyvand also prior as a group event to socialise kids after lockdown!!Supervfood...superb customer service and great venue...highly recommend..best time out of late.
Fab little afternoon bowling ,only criticism is no one came to wipe down benches and tables between lane bookings, two families came next to us during our visit and nothing was cleaned between the two. It did feel a little close too, it might put some people off during the current situation
Such a lovely experience from start to finish. All the staff were so friendly and helpful. The food and drink is tasty and reasonably priced (delicious flat white coffee). The bowling itself was great, with the option to add in funny faces which then made personalised animations during the game. But the things I really noticed was all the small details around the place. In the toilets all the nappies get recycled, not sent to landfill, there was soft play for younger children and they were collaborating with the local food bank. Such a lovely atmosphere. Would not hesitate to recommend.
Bowling was good but the staff are so unorganized, its scary.Ordered 3 coffees and a fruit shoot.. was told that they will deliver to the bowling lane.During the bowling.. you could see the staff walking randomly around we food.. we got offered other peoples food twice and someone elses drinks.Finished our bowling and still no drinks, so took a table and told them where we were and what was going on...Then they turn up with 3 cups and a pot of tea.. at that point we had been waiting for just under an hour for 3 brews... We were going to eat there but they were randomly walking around with food and could not do 3 coffees in an hour.. so got a refund and went elsewhere.
Great place to go with the family and never too crowded. Food took a little longer than I hoped and was cooked within an inch of its life making it very dry and hard to chew.
This is a lovely place to spend time with friends and family. It has bowling, arcade and a kids play area and best of all, its an open plan, so you can enjoy the arcade and bowling while keeping an eye on your kids in the play area. They have wonderful beverages and great snacks as well. The place is well maintained and the staff are wonderful. You can book the lanes by hour or by game. We had it for an hour and 6 people at one time in a lane.Enjoyed thoroughly.
Did not rate it from the outside it looks like a dump but it was raining and we were looking for any indoor activity...this did not disappoint. Food and drinks were a reasonable price and good quality. The bowling program was super fun with personalised memes and it felt clean and airy inside. The other games could do with an update, a few were broken and theres not much room in the individual bowlings lanes- we were cramped as a group of 3 but we would go again.
I go to this alley multiple times a week and keep coming back, the staff are always very friendly and will help out if needed. The food is great too. The bowling leagues that take place weekly on Tuesday and Wednesday and are always great each week :)
Absolutely amazing. Clean, modern, fresh, so unlike most bowling venues. Priced very competitively. Would love to go back, except I live in Scotland😔
Great fun friendly staff must visit definitely be going back and the best of all and I was surprised it pritty cheap what more do you want for a day out
Childrens play area looks nice and the bowling alley looked good. Seating and interior looked old and inside smelt of greasy chips.
Had a great evening bowling. Have been here several times before & staff are always very friendly. This place is excellent for somewhere to go especially if the weather isnt great. They serve food & drinks too and it all looks really tasty. Would definitely recommend.
Booked a party in May 2021. Was a bit nervous because it was the first time Ive sat inside since restrictions lifted. I couldnt be more pleased. Staff are super helpful. The place is spotless and felt very space. Cannot recommend high enough.
Great little place for bowling and soft play area for under 11s. Food was delicious and all at reasonable prices. My 7 year old and 2 year old thoroughly enjoyed. Will be coming back again
Took the kids here on a Sunday afternoon. £30 for an hour for 6 people is a bargain, and the coffee was outstanding.
Brilliant facilities especially for disabled people. Great for childrens parties. The food is really good with quite a selection. Gluten free options limited though. My family including 2 elderly wheelchair users enjoyed their afternoon
Really lovely bowling alley. Lots of choices for drinks and snacks. The bowling alley is really modern and we enjoyed the experience!
Great fun. £5 an hour, so you can keep playing till your times up. Gorgeous coffee. Very clean. We laughed non stop. Very nice soft play area for little ones also looked very clean. And they arrange very reasonable childrens party. Worth a visit.
Nice atmosphere, quiet place... but I didnt like the way how they stopped us to play when the program finished. 5 minutes before time they closed the lines... it was RUDE!!!
Service can be a little slow, but the staff are all very helpful, great place to have a kids birthday party as they have soft play area, food is good, i go to Xcel about 3 times per month as my autistic 10 year old is obsessed with bowling, always had a good time.
Good place to take the kids, we paid for the lane for an hour for 5 of us which wasnt quite enough for 2 games.
Great place for a quieter than usual game of bowling. Great choice hot and cold food for fast food type pickings. Nice staff. Not too noisy like most and not too many ( slot machine type amusements to distract the kids! Gorgeous soft play area too. Says its £2 per child but Im pretty sure no one paid and nobody was keeping guard as such.
