Avoid Dr. Barton if you want to keep your teeth. I just had to have all my teeth, upper and lower pulled due to Dr. Bartons incompetence. Dr. Barton placed un-necessary crowns on three upper teeth AND though I kept stressing how much my jaw was sliding around due to TMJ, he took bad casts of the crowns so they never matched the lower teeth. Eventually, those three crowns migrated, they pulverized my lower teeth and made all of the teeth in my mouth shift. I looked hideous for a year or more waiting for a prosthodontist to see me, and by that time all the teeth were too far gone. That includes, btw, two permanent lower implants that I had implanted on one side. His work was SO bad that he trashed my entire mouth. Moreover, just fyi, he had to re-make a partial because somehow, he ordered the wrong kind, and I remember having to go back up on several occasions with infected teeth or because they made other mistakes. I told him what happened and he did NOTHING. Worthless. Dont go there if you value your teeth. I had three surgeries because of him and I will have to get permanent implants on my own.

Im so happy that I found Dr. Barton. He is so kind and gentle, and has a natural way of making me feel at ease...very important since I have never done too well at the dentist! Great experience, as compared to many other dental visits in my life.

I saw Dr. Barton yesterday for the first time in almost two years. The first time I went there he was very good. Helped me with what I needed to be done before I left for a trip to Texas.Well on Friday he outdid himself. He saw that I had a wisdom tooth that needed to be pulled and I also explained to him that AI was/am dealing with other health issues for the past 6 months, and BI wasnt sure if my new insurance was active yet to cover the cost.Not a problem he said, he (and his assistant Kathytook great care of me as always, he pulled the tooth, and made sure everything turned out OK.Anyone in Aurora who has a fear of going to the DDS? If you go to Dr. Barton those fears will be erased. By far the best DDS Ive ever had the pleasure of visiting. Thank you so much for taking care of me!Keith :-)
