I had fish and chip (friesthey do have malt vinegar, for those who eat it the old way, we had great service and even had live music the night we had been there, well be there again soon...

Kinda disappointed in this place, nice people but the food was so bland tasting and it actually tasted like my food was microwave it was very sloppy and just blah. I was hoping for a better experience especially since the food prices are so high. But it was a no go for my family

Really enjoyed the Cajun Chicken pasta.

My wife loved her liver and onion every thing cooked right and seasoned. She said the cheese cake is better than Dinos in Branson.

Very friendly staff. I got the chicken fried steak with mashed potatoes and corn. I thought the food was fine. I wasnt blow away but it was very much what I expected from a little mom and pop country place. On the other hand, the carrot cake was by far the best carrot cake Ive ever had in my life. Ill definitely be eating here again the next time Im at the lake.

Update: Still great liver & plenty of onions. I got mashed potatoes w/ white gravy as a side. (Real Potatoes. Several specials were offered. Even dessert.Good Food, Service & Atmosphere! They make a great liver & onions. Their other foods are great also. Inside & outside seating available. Groups are welcome too. Takeout available.

Will eat there again! GREAT FOOD, GREAT SERVICE and fabulous STAFF. Large menu and restaurant is very clean. The background music was fabulous! Highly recommend this Restaurant....

Not from around here looked up good restaurants in the area as we stay in Norfork a lot. Had the patty melt fries ,wife had the cheeseburger and chips. It was terrible.All of itFrozen thin patty no flavor , fries some overcooked some undercooked, rye bread was so thick, It did not compliment the burger at all.We were there on Saturday at 5 pm and we were the only one there. That was probably a clue

They have good food and amazing carrot cake. I always get my food "to go."My only complaint would be all of the customers and staff in close proximity not wearing masks, plus having a salad bar where people are going to be breathing on the food and multiple people touching the same serving utensils and passing on possible sickness.

Some of the friendliest service I have ever had. They closed at 7 and we basically showed up at 7 not knowing that, and they told us they where going to take care of us and feed us anyway. Everyone was great to talk to and the food was amazing. Will definitely be going back if not for the food, it will be for the great people and atmosphere.

Great little restaurant. Everything we had was very good and fresh. We had onion petals as an appetizer and loved them. Both my wife and I had the burgers and couldn’t be more pleased. Meat was definitely made from fresh ground beef and not a frozen patty. We also found out the buns are made fresh daily at the restaurant. The fresh buns were great and made for a great burger. My wife had dessert and it was a homemade blueberry buttermilk pie. Dee waited on us and was super friendly. She told us about each of the items on the menu and how they prepared them. Great experience. You will not be disappointed.

Beacon Point has really good fresh food and is so nice and clean! The staff and owners go above and beyond. When I see complaints about cost on ANY review I just go past it. Restaurants have been affected by the same problems every business has. If they don’t make money they have to close. I think their prices are fair and appreciate their determination to remain open. If you can’t afford to eat out….don’t.

This is a wonderful place! Pork tenderloin sandwich is one of the best! They have amazing blueberry buttermilk pie as well. So good we went back a second time while we were visiting.

We went back in May as we were camping close by. Waitress was very nice. Took a little bit to get the food because we had ordered a small pizza however we had been told ahead of time that the pizza would be a little wait. Burgers were pretty good. Did not care for the fries. Pizza was ok nothing to get that excited about. I had higher hopes for it. Probably won’t be back because we only had 6 people and 2 of those were adults the rest were kids. Meal was over $70 for 4 burgers, a small pizza, and a philly sandwich. This meal was eaten at lunch time.

Pretty hectic at first. Could be more sanitary. Got seated at a table that had not been cleaned. Wasnt impressed with the shrimp dinner. Shrimp was flat like someone smashed them and hard and crispy. Will take my review down if they make it right. Visited yesterday or day before.

I dont understand why there are so many 5 stars... ? Maybe we went on a bad day?... The wait staff was good, but the food, not so much. Maybe its because Im not from around here??? I am not one to complain, but we did leave hungry. 😒❓🤨. The manager did compensate us for some, but the 5 of us will not be returning. Good luck 🤞 to you in the future.

Id give it a zero if I could.We took my dad here last night because the reviews were so good, but found it highly disappointing. There was absolutely no flavor, no seasoning, nothing to the food. They got my order wrong and everyone else was more than half way done by the time they fixed it. My mashed potatoes were extremely dry and cold. The chicken was barely dipped in unseasoned batter and cold. Their gravy was cold and gelatinous. My husbands fish was way over done, and this is fish country. So very disappointing. The chips were burnt. His huspuppies were mush and cold in the middle. Their homemade bread was also super dry and chewed like cardboard even with butter on it, which the butter was ice cold and impossible to spread. Add to that we ALL had to keep our heavy jackets on inside during the whole meal and were still shivering. My feet literally went numb from the cold inside and I am never cold. The single worst dining experience weve had in a very long time. Will not be back!

The food was good as always. Only problem we had was the waitress didnt bring us our bread and she brought our salad after we got our food. She was nice and polite.

Stopped by here by chance while briefly in the area. That was a very pleasant surprise indeed. One of two tables at the off hour we visited.The service couldnt have been more friendly or helpful. I was a long way from home yet the waitress/bartender made me feel like I belonged there.The food exceeded my expectations and the dessert ruined my diet but was worth it. I made an effort to get back once more berfore leaving to confirm my original observations but it didnt work out.I have noticed several negative reviews but all I can say is what I experienced. There was nothing negative in this charming and picturesque establishment.My advice is try it for yourself and decide.( I cant, in good conscience, give any place 5 stars with only one visit)

Horrible. Just got a chicken fried steak and mashed potatoes with no corn or green beans. Chicken fried steak was the size of a small piece of toast. Potatoes were Cold. Got a appetizer and it was $26 horrible

Excellent food, atmosphere, service, nestled in the woods. Never had a bad meal, and Luannes home made pies and cakes are worth a quick stop!!

Great food not to bad of prices. The waitress wasnt that friendly didnt really come around alot or felt like we was being hurried or maybe cz we wasnt in casual attire I dont know but the lady who was checked us out and getting desserts she was great nice and polite. We definitely will come back.tho

Had a good lunch with a couple of friends the other day, this place has really good food and higher than normal quality of meats from my experience. Good atmosphere, and service. Should you come through Lakeview or the Bull Shoals area, you cant to wrong ordering a meal at Beacon Point.

I love this place. But I am a local and the prices here prohibit us from patronizing this place as often as we would like to. It’s clean, food is good, wait staff is always perfect! Prices are just too high for it to be a regular stop. Now they don’t even have a lower priced lunch menu and they have stopped serving breakfast altogether. They advertise “early bird specials” but there’s no price break that I can see. I would go more often but can’t see paying $16.00 for fish and chips at lunch. It would be a five star review otherwise.

Had a very good meal there. Went with the family (9 totalsplit w/3 bills. No problems. Food was good all around. Service was as fast as could be.

We had the catfish dinner and it was really good. The service was great and the restaurant was spotless. Our dinner was so good, that we went back the next evening for their grilled chicken sandwich and the ribeye steak sandwich (which both was excellent). Generous portions, so I doubt if youll leave here hungry!

My personal favorite burger in the Mountain Home and surrounding area. The breaded mushrooms are the best tasting and great portioned for the area as well. Restraunt is always clean and staff is always attentive to our needs. Thanks for a great eat!

Absolutely amazing food and great staff. Ive been going there ever since I moved to Lakeview. I havent had the pleasure of dining in yet, but theyve been nothing but helpful every time I call in an order. They also have karaoke on Saturday nights, which I look forward to eventually attending.

We found a toothpick inside our sandwich with cheese actually melted around the plastic frilly tip and showed the waitress and she didnt even offer to replace it or apologize or anything. The prices were too high for a sandwich for lunch, they were more like dinner prices. Will not go back. The hamburger patty was as thin as the burgers at mcdonalds. The bun was the best part on my burger. The ruben tasted pretty good, but was ruined with the toothpick.

The Fried Grouper Sandwich is awesome! It starts with a homemade bun obviously but lightly butter toasted on the grill that is the best Ive ever tasted. The Grouper was batter fried perfectly for eating in a sandwich, crispy but not crunchy, same as the bun. I topped it with very fresh lettuce and tomato, and what must have been homemade tartar sauce (my choice). It only gets better from there with their hand cut French Fries on the side and Pecan, yes, Pecan Cobbler for dessert. I was so impressed that I felt compelled to leave a much larger than average tip, both for the great service and the food. I highly recommend, even going out of the way for, trying a very skilled and unique chef and reasonably priced dining experience at Beacon Point Restaurant.
