whenever I make an appointment, I always end up waiting so much longer. I am waiting for an appointment, it’s a half hour past. Two people walk in after me, that do NOT have an appointment, and they were sat before me. They need a better system because Im making appointments for no reason basically. And waiting an hour+ past my appointment time is ridiculous.Walked out. An hour later and still waiting, and still allowing others to go ahead. Appointment at 2. 2:30 appointment people were allowed to go before us. Their business is slowly going down the drain.

What a great first time experience! Pretty toes, and a lovely massage to boot!Still a five star experience! Fun young gal named Anie. Very precise. Great massage.

I have been going to beauty and nail for 5 years never had any major issues. This last time, was by far the worst experience. For staters I made an appointment when I got there I waited an additional 30 mins. Once seated I had one tech start and than walk away for 20 mins. After my wait I had a new tech. She had no clue what she was doing. My fill doesn’t even look like a fill. She missed some color on my nail, lumps on my nails from an uneven fill. So many issues. At this point I was there for almost 2.5 hours. Honestly it’s sad.

Great experience. Took us in last minute in a Sunday afternoon. Sisi was very professional and pleasant. And nice massage too!

Quick service without an appointment. Hidden costs not mentioned. This design had tips $5 French $10 design $10 almond shape $10. Didn’t find out until the end. Overall though good experience other than extra costs.

I had the worst experience here. The younger nail tech was rude!! She kept pulling my hand roughly. I expressed to her several times that she was hurting me. I even told her I have lupus and its really hurting me... She continued and didnt speak a word. Customer service was horrible, they all act like the color of my skin was an issue or I couldnt afford to be there!!! I wouldnt RECOMMEND A DOG TO THIS PLACE!!!

wonderful atmosphere, love the open floor plan. very good prices and even better service. Will definatly be back more often! a gem I almost overlooked.

The technician did a pretty good job on my nails. She was a little annoyed that I didnt know the difference between gel and anc, as Im not one to get my nails done. A nice customer gave me a recommendation and I went with it. Impatience aside, it was good. Got a Mani Pedi. (Also, I feel like impatience may be part of the experience)

Terrible customer service. I took my daughter so we could get our nails done. My nail tech kept texting and taking personal calls the whole time and didnt even cover my nails. My daughters tech just stood up in the middle of her manicure to take a smoke break. Just literally walked out. And the prices are ridiculous especially considering the terrible service and incomete manicures. Do NOT recommend. Avoid this place!!!

The WORST biniki wax Ive ever had in my life. They then tried to over charge me. My manicure was on time clock no attention to detail. Had to ask and ask to do it properly not just rush to get me out. NEVER go back.

I just want to give a shout out to everyone that is employed at our local beauty nails. I wanted to take my 4 year old daughter for a well deserved girls day to get her nails professionally painted for the first time. The staff was so patient and kind. They held and played with my daughter and spoiled her with endless lollipops. I just wanted to show my appreciation and give them the 5 star review that they deserve. They gave my daughter the full treatment, including a massage. Makes me feel so good she was treated like a person and not a burden.

Absolutely horrible. I’ve gone in the past and have had few issues. Tonight I went and the nails are all different lengths and crooked and the wrong color! If you need your nails done, definitely not the place. Called to complain cause I was just that mad and all I got was “so what’s the issue?” Wasted $45 tonight

This was the second time that I took my 8 year old daughter there to just have her nails painted! I will NEVER go back.....$30 to just paint her nails, this does not include a manicure and barely any hand lotion. Then they are so pushy for you to pay ASAP, the guy wouldnt even move so I could stand up and grab my belongings first. NEVER AGAIN, I DO NOT RECOMMEND THIS NAIL SALON!!!

They don’t know what they are doing. They left my nails extremely thick and they kept crowding me and talking and touching my hands. The nails are extremely uneven as well. She cut me several times and was extremely rough. I do not recommend at all, not for the price and not for the experience.

I will never go to this nail salon again. They were extremely rude and wanted to argue with me over what nails I had on at the time. I had told them I didnt want the anc dip powder because it was more money in the long run so they moved me to a different table where they proceeded to tell me it would be about 40 minutes before anyone did my nails. All the workers then proceeded to give me looks so I told them I didnt want them to do my nails at all anymore. Not only that but when removing my current nails the lady hurt me with the tool and continued to burn me with it even after I said it was extremely hot!!!

Choose another nail salon. This is the second time services were rushed. The first time my nails looked good. This time they are awful. I asked for short and oval and I got square and crooked. This was a good salon when it first opened. Now, not so much. Tonight I wasted $50.

Nicole was great! Super quick and super nice. Loved talking to her and she did a WONDERFUL job. Ive been here a few times but Nicole was by far, the best :)

Very disappointed. My sister and I went today for the standard $28 pedicure. The girl who did my nails did a quick job and seemed to be in a hurry as she only spent 15 minutes on the entire process. My feet were never soaked nor scrubbed. She cut my toenails and put on nail polish but that was about it. My sister’s feet were done the same but took five minutes less than mine. No one was waiting so they should have given the entire treatment that we are used to! We won’t be going back. Very poor service!

nails came out pretty good but the person doing my nails was extremely fast and careless while drilling my nails and ended up cutting 4 of my fingers. they cut one of them so bad that i’m probably going to get an infection. i was uncomfortable for the whole time after being cut. now i can’t even wash my hands without my fingers stinging. not to mention they did more coats of anc on one side of nails than the other so it’s uneven. don’t recommend.

I recently got my nails done here, and couldn’t be more satisfied, I normally have a problem when I go here some of the workers and careless about how there work turns out, but they have recently hired some new people and can’t believe how hard they worked, and cared about there work. I would very much recommend this place to anyone!!❤️❤️

Got right in which was nice, but the young man ground my skin in several places and now I have bad hangnails. The color dip is nice but my nails are very wide at the tips, not what I wanted my first experience of dipping my nails to be. Try to do something nice for yourself and it makes you feel bad.

so rushed and the person doing my pedicure kept running around, screaming across the salon, and was very rough. They reuse clippers, files, and cuticle cutters without cleaning them. Super unsanitary

I always have a wonderful time here. The staff are fun, friendly, always willing to try my crazy nail designs, and they always turn out magnificent. I really appreciate how forward they are with pricing as well so there are never any surprises at check out. Highly recommend hot stone pedicure!

I left this place with my nails not done. I was ignored for almost an hour. I came in at 1:30 left at 2:20. No one informed me with what was going on. Not only that but 2 people who came after me was getting their nails done before me. I had an appointment. Not only that, I came with a friend who also had an appointment at 1:30 and she got in the chair right away. I felt uncomfortable and left. I do not get my nails done often but next I decide to get my nails done, I will NOT go there.

do not recommend went and got gel dip and 4 days layer 6 nails have fell off! I called to see if there is anything they can do they said they were busy today i said i was too thats why i come every two weeks so is there something you can do the next Time i come in. And they hung up on me. Very rude and i always book an appointment and don’t get seated for an hour after my BOOKED appointment time. $40 for a set plus a tip, is a little ridiculous for this to happen. Will be looking to travel else.

Impeccable pedicure. I was happy to see that they are taking a lot of extra precautions because of COVID. Highly recommend getting any package with a short back massage, it felt wonderful and was relaxing.

DO NOT RECOMMEND!!!!!! over charged me I was waiting to talk to the guy and he walked away I called and they kept hanging up I called and made a police report they charge my card $60 for a acrylic FILL regular polish and a day later the paint is pealing off when I called and made the appointment they told me $25 I put my card in and that’s when I realized they charged my card $60

If you dont mind that only one of the entire staff (pretty sure hes the ownercan communicate with you efficiently, then its a great spot. You choose your treatments or pampering from a menu, so not a lot of chances of mixing up what youve asked for They have treatments here that arent offered elsewhere. The shop itself is very large (located in a strip mall, and takes up two store spaces). The nail stations are tidy, its all new construction, very bright, larger screen TVs which the staff arent watching so you can change any of them to something you want, and you can even bring your phone charger and if it doesnt reach the outlet, Ive seen them bring a lead cord over.I wasnt able to get a chair massage the last time due to a disc being out in my back, so they increased the leg/foot massage by 15 minutes as the chair massage was included in my menu pick.Prices are a few dollars higher (reason for 4 starsthan other places, but I have never felt rushed, as the staff is huge and theres plenty of room for customers. There are Monday through Thursday specials though.

Recently went here for a manicure, TERRIBLE! The did not soak my hands, pick the dead skin, nothing. Filed a little and then painted on my very damaged nails from gel polish. They had me in and out in 10 mins, asked for payment before my nails were dry. My nails were smudged and I left very disappointed. Will never go back!

Made an appointment for 4 o’clock two people, a gel mani and a fill. We got there 5 minutes early to pick colors and every minute up until 4:15 more people came in with an appointment also at 4. We didn’t even get to a chair until 4:35. That would’ve been fine if we weren’t rushed through the appointment. The prices are way too high and the quality does not match. My friends gel mani chipped 2 days later and 3 of my nails broke off within 24 hours. Will not be back.

Nicole was excellent taking care of my pedicure. The amount of calluses she removed by was amazing. I have her a nice tip and made an appointment for next month. Thank Nicole

For a good Mani and Pedi, this is the place to go in oneonta. Its always clean, with good service, and wonderful results! I have the utmost respect for the staff who work long and hard hours to give us their service. Be sure to tip and thank the folks at Beauty Nails and Spa, its well worth it!

Always have great service. Ive gotten pedicures and manicures there and they have always turned out great. They have also done my eyebrows very well. I never had the same person. They are always friendly and listen to what I want. One of my favorite nail places.

I paid 51$ with a 9$ tip, for the worst pedicure I ever had. Very messy and rushed. Nail Polish looks awful. It was supposed to be a paraffin manicure pedicure but he only did the paraffin on my feet and not my hands even though it said hands were included on the menu list. This isn’t the first time either. Very dissatisfied. And felt like I wasted 60$.

I’m impressed with the changes this place has made. Covid precautions maintained, clean facility, friendly professional staff. The lady that I had did exactly what I wanted without issues. I had a broken nail that required fixing with an artificial tip, and then I had a dip powder manicure done with an accent nail. She trimmed my cuticles and shaped my nails perfectly. $35 total. I was highly impressed, and plan to come back soon!

I just went and had a full set with gel. And a color change of toes. And my niece had a gel color on her nails and they charged $106, place is good quality but extremely expensive and the price sheet they have they dont even charge what is on the list ....

I went in with high hopes since I read the reviews and realized this was the only place in Oneonta with decent reviews-and the most stars. I gave in and decided to give it a try, got an estimate over the phone for $33, ended up paying $35 somehow not including a tip- I went from long acrylics w gel polish barely needing a fill to short acrylics w gel polish. Somehow got charged a large amount? The nail technician barely asked me what I was wanting, used the little nail tools the entire time, never checked to see if I was comfortable. She didn’t make the nails even, the polish was streaky- they weren’t that way in the nail book that I chose from. This was polish number 113, definitely doesn’t look the same. The technicians seem over booked and over worked, which is why they rush to make the most money. I understand where they’re coming from and I want to give them the benefit of the doubt, but honestly I didn’t realize how horrible my nails were until they hit sunlight since the lighting is so hooded and dark in the salon. Her “work area” was a reused paper towel from the previous lady, had old acrylic powder on it and didn’t wash her hands or even tried too. The table and the floor around her was filled with nail tips from her work before and was pretty awful. If they took appointments and slowed down with their work, I’m sure they’d succeed but they won’t be getting my business again. First and last time.

Sadly I thought this place was great. Im now three months in to trying to treat a toe nail fungus I (my mom too as we had been going togethergot from my last pedicure. My toenails are horribly discolored, weak, splintering, curving and just plain gross. I cant paint them because I have to treat my nails after every shower for the next 6 months and only if they heal fully if not a year. A year with nasty toes. Do not go here. They use the same tools untreated on everyone. Utterly disgusted. I should send them my doctors bills!

Jack was my nail tech, and I cant get over how friendly and talented he was. I came in with long acrylic nails, one had popped off and upon examination.... they were all ready to fall off, so they removed the acrylics, and I just went with a simple Gel manicure with a winter-y theme! So happy with my nails!!

I’ve tried this place several different times thinking maybe it was just a bad day. Each time I’ve been turned off more & more. This time was a horrible experience & I won’t be back. Pedicure was a complete up sale to a more expensive service that took the same time as a basic. The technician was only concerned with finishing as quick as possible. No concern if the customer was enjoying. He was obviously a manager & was more concerned with what his employees were doing. He was whispering to another employee leaning over my feet when he was doing my pedicure, completely rude.

I just finished at beauty nails. People were very pleasant. The bathroom is filthy. And my nails are a tad below Fair. I think the nail polish was a bit used an old and certainly didnt cover so I had to ask for additional coats and some nails where it was very uneven. I got the basic manicure which I think bums them out generally because theyre looking to push the higher-end services.

Service was good. Prices I would say are reasonable. I do think they should work on being a little more personable with customers, instead of having full conversations among themselves.Even if it is light conversation, when someone is getting their nails done, I am 100% sure it doesnt make them feel comfortable when they are being ignored. Granted I will be going again.

While this is an upgrade from Wiwi nails, I have yet to find a nail place in Oneonta that is great. This place is very hit or miss. I’ve had some great experiences where the staff has been wonderful and attentive, but I’ve had multiple times where my nails felt EXTREMELY rushed. The staff often focuses too much on what is going on with other customers as opposed to focusing on who they are working on. One time I had an employee leave me in the middle of my manicure five times. My last visit the lady was very nice, but when she said my nails were finished there was nail polish all over my skin. It looked like I had painted them myself and not professionally done. I politely asked her to clean them up, as I was astonished she was going to let me leave like that and she did, but there was still some remaining after the fact. Expect to spend a good amount of time here if you don’t have an appointment. Atmosphere could be more relaxing. It feels like chaos a lot of the time.

At first I was really impressed with how well they did my pedicure till it came to the polish. They put just one coat making the polish look almost transparent and not to mention making a mess all over my toes. If I wanted that type of look I would have done it my self. Come to the gel manicure, it was horrible! They had two books to pick from and the worker accidentally chose #48 out of the wrong book giving me silver glitter nails instead of the pink I wanted. When I mentioned that it didn’t look like the right color I was treated like I had made the mistake till I demeaned I look at the books again and that’s when we discovered the worker made the mistake choosing the wrong #48. Instead of removing the wrong polish and using the correct they just slapped the right color over the wrong making my nails thick and looking like a little girl who wanted to play spa did my nails. I asked to have them redone but they were giving me such a hard time and I was running out of time because I had to hurry up to get ready to go to the airport so I just left. So upset I have to go on my vacation like this. This place will never ever see me again.

Went for the first time and brought my sister too. I already have nails on and was missing some and the guy looked at my hands and laughed which was extremely rude. The guy was very rough on my cuticles and when he put the alcohol on my hand after the gel manicure it was stinging. I didn’t mind the “massage’ but I think they should ask you first. They definitely charge too much for their quality. I gave 2 stars because I love the color and length of my nails and the other gentleman did a good job on my sisters nails. However, I wouldn’t recommend.

If I could give no stars I absolutely would. 2 weeks ago was first minor issue, went for a fill and cut down. Told them to just paint my tips, painted while nail. No biggie it still looked ok. Went today told the lady 3 times I wanted a fill, cut down and gel nail polish. So she starts to do my nails, and put alcohol pads and aluminum foil on my nails. This was never done before. She then started to file my nails. I asked her did you take my nails off? Yea Yea was her reply. I said stopped I’m going else where. I told her again for 4th time I wanted a fill. She giggles, talks to a guy and said I have to wait. They don’t understand what you tell them. Horrible experience. Then charged me for services I didn’t even ask for.

This was my second time for an ANC manicure and was with John. He was fantastic and did an awesome job. He took his time and was spot on. One of the best Ive had and not to mention the massage after was very good. I will be definitely requesting his services each and every time I go.

Everything was very clean, my mother and I were greeted as soon as we walked in the door. All of the staff were very polite and gentle. The massages were amazing and both of our nails came out beautifully. Im very happy and so is my mother. 10/10 would go again.

I took my husband for a manicure, pedicure, and massage for his birthday (5/30/17). The salon is clean and airy and everyone was friendly. We both had such nice, thorough technicians and felt pampered and refreshed (and my polish still looks great!). Thank you for making the day so special!

I brought a client of mine there to get a pedicure and her nails done. Now mine you she is a older lady and has difficulty walking. They treated her with so much respect and helped get in and out of the chairs. They did a awesome job. Would recommend to anyone.
