So slow. All those workstations and only 2 people working.
The people that work here its pretty bad they working too slow it took for whatever to do something I cant believe I spent most of my day.
Do you have to pay sales tax for tags all at once or do they tage installments?
Unable to get website to open
Image waking up at 7 am to go wait in an hour long line.
They know what theyre doing.
I got here at 10:21 and it is now 12:02 and my number is STILL 6 out!!!! They stayed on 1 number for over 25 minutes!!! This is Ridiculous!!!
I had a very bad experience after a while. I went to change my out of state licence to arkansas. And the lady who assisted me was so rude and disrespectful. I dont want to ruin my day remembering her, but i am just pity about her.I believe in newtons third law, what you do is what you get.
New person to Arkansas. Moved here a month ago. Had to get a tag for my car and get my license changed from Oklahoma. Got there just as tag office opened at 8 am. We were finished and back in the car at 9:40 am. The employee named Ann was super nice. Had information with me to get my State ID just in case. She asked about getting it rather than a regular license and I showed what I had brought with me. We had #36 and had to go to all three windows, Personal Property Assessment, then to window to file the papers and then to the next window to get license and car tag. Was a good experience after reading all the negative ones on line.
Slowest service ever! You must stand in line outside for 2- 3 hours before entering where you will then wait for 2-3 hours. Not workers fault. Way understaffed.
You will need to take off a full day of work to sit in a 3-5 hour line that wraps around the entire building, because these clever people decided to close their Bentonville branch. There should be a better method behind getting these things done in a time like this, but you can’t expect much logic from these people.
2.5 hr wait times. Office is not properly staffed.
They quickly got our registration renewed, address changed, and new licenses! Best revenue office experience I’ve had!
They have made changes to suit the public better .
Everyplace needs some work. I have a good experience everytime I go. You have to understand that these peoples jobs are stressful. Maybe tell a joke next time and make them laugh. The golden gold is "Treat others the way you want to be treated." Be nice and courteous to them. Make their day and tell them have a blessed day.😃
The system that they use at the Bentonville office is much more efficient. Rogers facility is a wait wait wait process. No direction as to which area of the facility can handle why you are there. The person who you think would direct traffic is processing every person in line which makes standing in line a lengthy process.
Updated review: So time for tag renewal and Im ANGRY that AR legislators so want to punish hybrid and electric vehicle owners for caring about the carbon footprint that they have created a fine of $100 for hybrid owners (me and a few thousand others in ARand the fine doubles to $200 for electric vehicle owners. This is ANNUALLY, just to renew your tags. This Act 416 is discriminatory, singling out one class of consumers and in my opinion, its downright ugly, unfair, hateful, uncalled for, being done behind closed doors by legislators who seemingly prefer all Arkansans drive smoking gas guzzler tanks while the public was unaware of what they were doing.Of course, only one person, Tani, at the Benton County DFA who finally admitted she was aware of Act 416, going into effect in October and yet ...she defended it.Yes, I get fairly good mileage, but I pay gas tax like everyone else on the gas I buy and I sacrificed for six long years of payments to finally pay off my 10 year old car.Act 416, however is not unilateral, applying to all vehicle owners and is thereby discriminatory.Sad state of affairs. Punishing hybrid and electric vehicle owners with such a fine/penalty.Sad that DFA staff plays at not knowing until pushed upon which they admit they know but claim they are powerless to do anything about it.So Ive said my piece, but will consult additional avenues since our elected officials dont respond to emails and DFA doesnt care.Lastly, the recent DFA office remodel only made things worse. Bad entrance issues (they cant make the doors open to the front??No signs telling you which desk to go to. Broken kiosks. Stand in line for an hour just to ask a question. Take a number and wait forever. Do they know what that kind of frustration does to people, or is that the goal? Its no better than it was before. How much taxpayer money did all THAT remodeling cost?Previous review: The archaic practice of take a number and wait, makes going to this agency for everything but assessment painful. Only once in five years did I witness a staffer working the "traveling kiosk", actually help those waiting, speeding up the process by halving the wait time. And its the wait. They appear poorly staffed for the numbers of people requiring the services they provide. By and large, the people there are pleasant, which can make the the difference between your visit being an ordeal or a chore. Some scheduled tasks can be done online now as well, lessening the number of occasions you would need to go there in person. Sadly, there is no choice but to go when you must. Just bite it ... and go, expect it to take half your day, and try to smile. It will all go better if you do.
Slowest DMV of all time, and they somehow dont issue Read IDs.
I have been very pleased and satisfied with my visits to Benton County Revenue Office! Those people that rate the Agency with one star and lots of griping and complaining need to work in some of the government offices where the public blames everything on you and the whole time you are trying to help them!Five Stars to Benton County Revenue Office!
The wait time is much too long. They need to hire more staff. No matter what day or time I have been, Ive had to wait well over an hour. This makes it very difficult for the working class. There should be a separate drivers license renewal line that moves more quickly, but that it is no longer available.
THIS PLACE IS SOOOO BAD DOESNT EVEN DESERVE "1 STAR"....THEY NOT ONLY HAVE "BAD SERVICE" (IF YOU GET LUCKY ENOUGH TO BE TALKED TOIT IS ALMOST NO SERVICE AT ALL.....THEY WERE ON # 9 WHEN I GOT MY # 88 AND OVER 2 HOURS LATER THEY WERE UP TO # 15 WHEN I HAD TO LEAVE TO GO TO WORK....ONE LADY HAD #34 (HAVING BEEN THERE SINCE THEY OPENED - LEFT FOR AN HOUR - WHEN SHE RETURNED SAID THEY HAD ONLY GONE UP BY 3 NUMBERS......ANOTHER LADY HAD #39 HAVING BEEN THERE ALSO SINCE THEY OPENED......THEN WHEN 4:30P COMES AROUND THEY "LOCK THE DOOR" AND DO THE WORK THEY SHOULD HAVE BEEN DOING ALL DAY "ON OVERTIME"WHY DO THEY NEED "12 COMPUTERS" AND THE SPACE OF A "FOOTBALL FIELD" WHEN ONLY 1 OR 2 PEOPLE ARE WORKING (PUTTING IN THEIR TIME!!!........WHAT A "POOR EXCUSE" FOR A STATE GOVERNMENT SERVICE" THAT WE (THE TAXPAYERSPAY FOR !!!!!
Extremely slow need more staff working 4 people just isn’t enough
They need to hire more people. This place is ridiculous how long you have to wait. Not sure if this will help them to hire more people but I hope so
They are helpful and do the best they can with the available staff.
how is it that this office is closed for snow i made it here .i think these people need to come to work 1 star
How can a patron be in the office for over an hour and only 13 numbers have been called? That went so fast because the people with those numbers had left! 2 people doing registrations and now down to one!!! Get some damn employees to help you patrons!!! This is ludacris!!!
Place is the craps 30 people sitting, 1 person waited on in the last 1/2 hr . 9 computers idle, 3 employees working. WHAT PROGRESS.feel like chickens waiting for slauter.
I was in to purchase tags for a new vehicle. To avoid standing in the wrong lie I asked the lady at the assessors desk, who by the way was in a personal call, the procedure and which lines to go to. She gave me directions. I stood in line for approx 30 minutes to be told I was in the wrong line. I explained to her I was told to come here by an employee and pointed her out. Of co course her response was she doesnt work for us and I was dismissed and told to go get a number. I passed the collectors office and was again told to get a number and wait my turn. Well here I sit waiting an hour later. There approx 30 people waiting for 3 employees to call their number.
I know they have a lot to work on but I had an awesome service from Beverly. She was very helpful and friendly to help me with my issue with the sale tax. If you want great service ask for Beverly.
This place is so slow, I have been here three hours now.
Nice remodel. Same slow service. Crazy how money was spent from more space and no people added. Hire more people so you can provide service we pay for.
What a disgrace these people are to our county and state. The sorry excuse for a human in the DL line today actually said to me, after telling me that the DL system was down, that I had all year to renew!! As if its my fault they are inept. Instead of apologizing for THEIR system being down and offering a professional and appropriate response, the response was smug, arrogant and disrespectful. Not they way normal people would speak to the people that PAY THEIR SALARY. Im sure this person couldnt hack it in the fast food service industry so she ended up at the DMV. Absolutely shameful.
July 17 @ 12:09 its so ridiculous waiting for car renewal stickers so many people just sitting around & not doing anything + taking long to time to process a sample transaction.
I have had my share of difficulties with the vehicle tagging process over the years but this was truly amazing. I walked in with my renewal notice. A very nice lady scanned it and my card and printed out my new registration with my new sticker and Im on my way. It took me less than 10 minutes from the time I parked. This was fantastic!
Why does the revenue office only provide only one person or station to provide tag renewals. The wait in line wraps around the interior of the building. Granted this location is a improvement over the old building.... however there still needs much work with handling the volume of renewals
Friendly people but man how long can it possibly take to get stickers for my tag? I was there nearly 2 hours and only a few numbers had been called. I had to leave to pick up my daughter from school. I guess ill take another day off so I can get my tags.
I have been here for two hours. All the time I have been watching staff sitting around laughing and talking while there are numerous people waiting. Bentonville is by far better. I expect to wait at the DMV but people not doing their job and not caring is ridiculous. It has taken almost an hour for 3 people. If I did this at my job I wouldn’t have one!!Where is the supervisor? I live in a Rogers but will never return to this one. Very unhappy
Worst customer service out of any revenue office around. Expect to wait 2+ hours any time you walk in the doors.
After waiting for just over an hour and a half to tag Michael’s new car, the only notice of an additional fee for using a debit card was a very small sign at the payment window. Good customer service would be a larger sign at the entrance, allowing one to choose whether it’s worth $20 or more to retrieve one’s checkbook.
Wasnt allowed to register tags because it says I wasnt assessed. Called tag office. They said I hadnt assessed since 2016 even though it clearly showed 2017 online. Called 888 number she gave me. They transferred me to assessors office. She said I assessed 4/2017. Told me to call the 888 number for help...the same one I had just called that got me transferred to her. Called 888 number AGAIN. Rep repeatedly asked if I had tried registering online. WHAT AN IDEA. Put me on hold, found an error in the VIN, then I was able to register online. Good times, thanks for the memories. And I did all of this in hopes of it being easier than physically appearing at the revenue office. Jokes on me!
Thank goodness for the express line for drivers license renewal.
My only complaint here is the temperature. It is always sweltering hot.
Staff was friendly but very slow with no hurry. I waited 3 1/2 hr. but sat beside someone who had waited 5 hr. the day before. Many people ended up leaving before their number was called. Judging by staffs response, this appears to be the norm. I will not be returning to this facility.
The slowest revenue office in Benton County, their unorganized and are in no hurry. Your better off driving to Bentonville
