Best Western Plus Bolingbrook in Will County

Wonderful room, pretty clean. The service was terrific. The pool was closed, but the excercise room was preety nice. The breakfast was ok, also during COVID, so that had something to do with it. (Went about a year ago when editing post)

Booked room for work! Customer service Horrible! Ants in room! Very bad experience! Booked 3rd party and everyone in the hotel was kicked out the next day! We were told new management was taking over and they wanted everyone out asap! No heads up at all! Very inconvenient for us! When we checked out they were still booking rooms online for double the price! Don’t know what that was all about! Calling corporate! What they did was wrong! Don’t even deserve one star!

Right off the highway, rooms were very clean and modern! Breakfast was delicious as well! This was a brief stay (8hrs basically to sleepso I cant really describe much more. But I would definitely go back!

Before I arrive I called to see if I can get jointed room. She said shell call me back and let me know I said okay. She called me back and said she couldnt do it, but I was okay with that when I arrived there and pay for my room they waited until I paid to tell me that the pool without a commission. Now when a lady called me back the lady never told me that the pool was out of commission she didnt ever tell me the fire pit outside wasnt working when people arrived to a hotel they go by what they see online about the hotel they should tell people upon their arrival whats going on and whats not working especially when you have a family and kids that expecting to see the fire pit or to be in the pool not wait to after you charge the Person and tell them the pool is out of commission the fire pit aint working because they dont have the fluid for it they should at least gave that person to choose to change their mind if they want to stay there or not, not wait until they charge them telling them everything is not working and the breakfast was up to part the blow dryer wasnt in the room. Only one of my rooms had a microwave I thought that when you come to a hotel like that every room supposed to have everything they supposed to have in it especially the microwave. When you showing advertising online of pictures about your hotel you should make sure your hotel have everything working and everything in the room the way you showing it online. The prices they were charging for the room they could have gave everybody a little discount especially when you dont have everything thats showing online.

Worst experience ever! I’ve been calling the front desk since I got here asking for towels because there weren’t any in the room when I got here and they never brought any to my room after being told they would.

This place would be very nice, however it’s definitely not kid/family friendly, the staff is terrible, unprofessional and pose to be corporate and ghetto when you try to make a legitimate complaint. The halls smell strongly of air freshener to cover up the extremely strong smell of weed! The combo would give anyone a migraine and put someone with asthma in distress!!!! We had to ask for extra towels to place in front of the door to keep the smell out!!! They also closed the pool “because a NON GUESTS” came in and jumped in!! Like seriously you can’t control your grounds you definitely need new management!!!! Employees were very disrespectful to the point my kids had to be taken outside during the complaint because of ghetto unprofessional staff!!! Please for your safety don’t stay here!!! And the rooms could’ve been cleaner for sure!!! Shouldn’t find garbage on window ledges, under chair, etc!!!

Have reservations and flew in from Kansas City. Arrived at the hotel at 11:15am and get informed I cant have my room until 3pm. The "help" at the front desk didnt bother checking to see if my room is even available. Real unprofessional and do not recommend even a passing consideration of staying here. Id give them negative stars if I could. 0/10 NOT RECOMMENDED.

Came for valentines day and at first it was nice and clean ( so I thought . I layed down, blankets on me and i started to feel itchy. I thought it was just me so i went to sleep and woke up and felt like something was crawling on me again. I dont know what it was but it was 3:45 AM & i had to leave i could not stay there anymore knowing something isnt right. Me and my boyfriend were both itchy and felt like something was crawling on us. Felt super disgusting & disappointed. Told the person at the front desk and all they said was they will let housekeeping know.

Not sure how they keep their Best Western Plus rating. Rooms needed updated, missing wash cloths that we had to request at front desk. Told they were not putting them in the room since they didnt have enough. Breakfast was sub par. Didnt have sugar for coffee, no orange juice, slim pickings on Breakfast items no waffle mix. I know there are shortages due to our current environment but really? You can go out and purchase these items at any store.Please think twice before booking this property.

The staff could not have been more helpful!! They were more than accommodating of our large group, and went out of their way to make sure we were taken care of. 10/10 service!!

The check in was terrible. Took a long time to get us all checked in, and the main guy was very rude. Kids running all through the halls all night being very loud. Room was decent, not too bad… but the tub was peeling and there was a stain on our sheets. Would not come back here again due to it being like a zoo and the poor customer service.

We booked the with Reservations.com. do not ever book with them. The woman told me they had a Hot tub, they do not.I was not told no refund for cancelations

Lovely stay. I was there for 4 days. Fantastic coffee and continental breakfast every morning. Friendly staff. Highly recommend.

Catfished 100%. The pictures online of the hotel and room were completely different in person. Chips inside our dresser drawers, not to mention the dust and dirt. The beds only had sheets no comforters. When we requested comforters or at least some blankets, we were told by staff there were none. The lady at the front office accused us of "making a mess" after we just checked in and got the key to our room. She also explained how she was too busy answering the phone to assist us with any of our issues. Hospitality was definitely 0. I dont recommend staying at this hotel. The hassle, lack of cleanliness, poor customer service really did it in for them.

Be prepared for a positive drug test when you leave this location! Also, ensure your room has fully functioning items, my window in the first floor wouldn’t lock & did not have a screen 🤦🏽‍♀️. Way over priced for what was provided!

A year ago it wouldve been a 5 star but today its by far the worst... the management is horrible, there is no 24 hour maintenance, my room had no air conditioning for 2 days, the housekeepers ran out of towels, two front desk reps didnt know what they were doing, and lastly I never received my refund on my points!!

The room was clean. They make a nice breakfast which is included with the price. They have a pool and a gym. The place is nice and neat.

I highly recommend you look for another hotel. Non-smoking rooms definitely smell like smoke, the professional advertising pictures are just that, and the pool and pillows are the best parts of the experience.There is also a form you have to sign upon checking in that states if you cause a disturbance that your card will be charged an additional $250. Not damage, a disturbance.

Worst hotel I have ever stayed at. Looks nothing like the pictures online. Broken glass in the parking lot looked like someone had their window bashed in. Trash in the stairway. Smells like smoke despite no smoking signs. There was a cigarette burn in the comforter. The bathroom light was flickering like a horror film. I had booked multiple nights through Hotels.com but only stayed one night. They had an issue finding my reservation but gave me an upgraded room for the night since none of the type of rooms I reserved were clean/available. In the morning when I said I wanted to cancel the rest of the nights the clerk agreed and had notes about the reservation issue. I showed my confirmation email and they took down all the information. They said they would need to run the full amount from the hold but would then return the portion for the cancelled nights, which the manager would need to do. Several days later and no return. I called several times and have not been able to get a hold of the manager. Their voicemail is full or I am told I cannot speak to them. I emailed the parent company from the managers card and was told they no longer operate this location, so they are passing out fraudulent information as well. I will be having my card company issue a fraud chargeback. Stay away from this hotel.

Nice clean newer property with decent rates and nice rooms. The bed was nice and the bathroom was basic but decent. Its close to the expressway as well so thats a plus for me.

Family reunion. My room smelled like smoke. They didnt want to get rid of the smell. The hallway stank strongly of cat urine. The walls are paper thin. The house keeper pretended to not speak English until I said I only needed one trash can emptied and more towels. Overall, they got an extra star because they didnt give us a hard time when we wanted our family rooms on the same floor or when we crowded the hall once in a while to relish in love. WOULD ONLY STAY AGAIN IF I ABSOLUTELY HAD TO.

Usually my reviews are of restaurants since I am a foodie, but I have to take care of some business.This is strictly in regard to the employee by the name of "Jewel".This employee of Best Western Plus is extremely ghetto, rude, has no manners and has no customer service skills, if, by chance, that Best Western Plus taught her any.Nevertheless, Jewels parents did a terrible job on her upbringing and I hope NOONE else is subjected to the extreme "ghetto fab" behavior that I encountered on today.Lastly, from the reviews that I have read, Jewel fits right in the environment that Best Western Plus Bolingbrook is trying to exude.

6/11/21 the hotel facility is nice. The pool is not open and that was not stated anywhere the staff was not helpf they couldnt do an early check in. Or late check out even though it says on the website that they do late checkout. Also housekeeping never came into our room to clean. We ran out of towels and asked the front desk for some and wear told they didnt have any. Spend your money elsewhere.

Where do I begin. Called the hotel before I booked on Hotel.com to make sure they had a handicap room available because I was dealing with a torn calf with crutches and brace.When I called BEFORE I booked the room, the first person who answered asked me to call back in 10 minutes due to them helping another guest. So eventually I called them back and a young man answered, I asked him if there was a room with a walk in shower, he then asked for me to call back so he could make sure. I waited about a half hour and called once again. He confirmed they had a handicap room with a walk in/wheel chair roll in shower. He seemed a bit unsure, and I said "are you sure? I really need one due to my injury". He then said hang on and asked a co-worker if this particular room was available. I heard him in the background and he confirmed it was. I then let the first young man know I would be booking through a website, but wanted to give him my name so when the reservation came across his computer screen, he would know that was the room I reserved, and to please put my name on it. I then went online and booked it. I again called to make sure the reservation came through, he said it hadnt but sometimes it can take more than a few minutes, can I call back. I told him yes I will, I just want to make sure I was put in a room I needed. 30 minutes passed, I called once again, repeated my wonder if he recieved my reservation, he did and then assured me a room with a roll in shower was reserved for my three day stay.After driving 8 hours I arrived and was told sorry, that room is out of order due to plumbing issues.This hotel is less than 2 years old. I asked if they had another room that could accommodate my needs due to my leg, and she had nothing.Needless to say, she had already charged me for the room, so I had to get a refund, and she also said the Manager would be calling to speak with me over this matter. Staying in a lobby of a hotel at 9pm with no room to wait for him to call me I thought was so inconsiderate seeing as I needed to find a room not listen to excuses.The young woman I dealt with was very nice, but I will be calling corporate and the manager at a near later time, I had to find a room.This was very bad business, especially when I had called almost a half dozen times before I even booked the room due to the person I first spoke with.I personally would NOT recommend this hotel if you drove a long distance, because it was not only upsetting to know that their late afternoon employee was not properly trained, and his co-worker lacked not only training, but professionalism.There are many other hotels in the area, Holiday Inn on Remington in Bolingbrook bent over backwards to help me in the situation the Best Western put me in.I would advise you to book a room in one of the other dozen hotels in the Bolingbrook/Romeoville area. I also will be contacting the proper people to inform them about the disgusting way someone with even a temporary disability was treated so others dont go through this again. Someone(sneed to be held accountable for their lack of intelligence in a business they work in.

The the bed sheets were dirty in one of our rooms. Once we changed rooms we were satisfied. the breakfast area was not prepared with food. We had to ask Multiple days for restock of breakfast. The stairwell was filthy.

The room was decent. But the customer service from Shirley at the front desk was ridiculously horrible. I have never experienced such unprofessionalism. I hope she gets help with whatever her personal issues are and that she learns how to conduct herself accordingly. The particular night me and my family stayed at the best western, Shirley was a horrible representative of the type of service any paying customer should receive.

Nice clean horel, pool was closed due to covid. Cant hold that against them. I was traveling for business and my booking was done through Expedia. Had trouble checking in but Jamie at the front desk went above and beyond to figure out what happened. Its nice to see that there are people who still care about customer service!! By the way Jamie, the Jumbo Crab restaurant is awesome if anyone asks again!!😀

Very nice customer service but the noise in the hotel is another level. We could hear someone rap in the doorway & eventually his room which was next to ours. Rooms smelled good and neat. Their breakfast wasn’t bad at all. If you don’t mind deliberate noise your stay will be comfortable

Check-in went smoothly. The beds are comfortable, but the blankets are paper thin. I expected there to be a comforter, but there wasnt. The walls are about as thin as the blankets. Our neighbor was angry and yelling in his room until 4am. Im a light sleeper and deal with ptsd so I didnt sleep until my neighbor finally passed out. I had tried to contact the front desk continously from about 3am until about 3:30. But nobody picked up. When I talked to the lady in the lobby as we where leaving, she offered us half off the next time we stay, but I will never stay at this location again. The recorded message when you call the front desk says they guarantee your comfort when you stay there, but I do not agree.

Had a terrific stay. The room was clean, the hotel was quiet. The very charming, sweet young woman working the desk in the morning was wonderful! She knows why..! 😉 Great stay during tough times.. Thanks.

The staff was really friendly and helpful here.The room was clean.The place was clean and kept very well.lots of places to eat nearby.And the staff at this place knows places that will deliver to you if you dont want to leave

I stayed on 10-14-2020. I wrote a review about my stay. I stated that my stay was good but also made very unpleasant do to an Indian lady by the name of noor. The staff and hotel are assume!! I wanted to edit my review because everyone was amazing!! And it was just the one hotel individual.

Place was decent for the price. The door handle on the inside could have been cleaner. There was alot of smudges on it. The smell of weed was also getting in the room. Not sure if someone was smoking in a room nearby or they brought the smell in on their clothes. The breakfast was sad; lights were off as if it was closed. There was so little of selection of food that I wondered if I was supposed to be in there. Ended up going to a restaurant down the street.

Completely dissatisfied with my stay. Paid money for a room for a getaway and the television don’t even work in the room. No channels. Nothing. At 1:30am a party ensued. Management did nothing about it, even with the situation and social distancing that is supposed to be respected. Completely unhappy with this location, do not recommend it to anyone and will be seeking a complete refund for my stay.

This hotel was recently refurbished and opened as a Best Western. I stayed for two nights for a business trip. The price was low, so I didnt have high expectations.Pros: friendly staff, clean rooms, breakfast was well stocked, beds are comfortable.Cons: There was rarely ever anyone at the front desk. I had to wait about five minutes at check-in before the employee came out from the office that is located right behind the front desk. When I went to check-out in the morning, no one was there even though the lobby was very busy. I ended up leaving without checking-out which was annoying since I wanted a copy of my receipt. I saw others standing at the desk waiting for someone so they could check-in whenever I was coming or going during my stay. The other big issue is the room is so dark. There are three lamps and the mirror lights up, but they use really dim bulbs. There was another small lamp under the tv but it didnt seem like it would help much so I didnt bother with it.For the price, I would stay again. The good stuff outweighs the bad for me.

Very nice stay. Room very clean and upgraded. Staff was super friendly. Just odd that the heated pool is marked as 3ft to 6ft but it was actually all 3ft. I thought maybe kind of dangerous so they should probably change the markings. The continental breakfast was the best:)

We stayed here before, and this time we brought our friends along. We came on a Thursday night for our convention, we was greeted with smiles and pleasantness.Our room was spacious and clean. The breakfast was not just a regular breakfast, it was delicious! We had a few mishaps in our room and they accommodated us ever so kindly. The work out room was great, and the pool area we neat and clean. The office area came in handy as well. Sadly our stay came to an end that Monday morning. The staff gave us treats for the ride home and bided us safe travels. Even though the building was neat, clean and inviting, the warmness of the staff is what really made us want to stay longer. They felt like family.

This was the first time we stayed at this hotel. We checked in to the room, and discovered that the bathroom wasn’t cleaned at all- hair in the bathtub, previous guests toiletries, dirty floors. We were too tired to change the room, so we called the front desk and they promised they will take care of it. Next day we reminded them. We come back to the room in the evening, and the bathroom was still dirty. All they did was they put fresh towel over the bathtub. Finally they moved us to a different room.In addition, every night our key got deactivated, so we had to go back down and get it reactivated.We dealt with two different managers, and none of them didn’t even apologize. They had “I don’t care attitude” every time.Overall, the hotel is dirty- the floors in the hallway were dirty. Definitely not coming back.

It was okay, not worth $110 per night. Room had carpenter ants and the grout was coming up so bad in our bathroom that it was broken apart on the floor and the tiles were shifting up and down when we walked. Aside from that, the room was clean and the staff was nice.

Pretty nice place for real... I know that Best Western isnt the greatest place in the whole world, but this one is pretty good. Rooms are very clean, service here is great. Breakfast is fully stocked & hot at 6am. The showers are clean, toilets are nice, lights are bright. I cant complain TBH. The beds are a bit stiff for my taste, but I know some people prefer that, so I cant take a point off for that.

Place was clean , staff was always very nice , my husband is rewards member we used our points for our family to stay at this location . They loved the room and the breakfast they had . Only thing they said was they wish they had more then one set of towels in room & more toilet paper left room . But ask for both and got it right away . Which they loved. They said if they came into Illinois again they would stay at the Bolingbrook location . The only request I have is that the parking needs to be fixed too many potholes ! And it was just remodeled so I believe it should look the way it looked outside in the parking lot . But everything else was awesome

Im never staying in that hotel anymore. The first room I got smell cigarette smoke everywhere. I asked for a new room after trying to sleep, by I couldnt due the odor. They gave me a new room, it looked better at the beginning, but it started to smell like cigarette smoke as the previous one. I checked out earlier than expected because I couldnt bare anymore that terrible odor, and the even though the hotel charged me the 4 nights. Even though I stayed just 2 nights.

Stayed in hotel 5/10/2019. Checking in was fine and the staff was friendly. Room carpet had red stains on the floor. Room was clean when we check in. The next day after being gone all day the room the beds were not made up. Staff said they were short of staff and could not make the beds. Not good. I went and got additional face towels only received 1 they did not have any available. Not good. A police officer was in the building when we returned for dinner. Was it due to a larger size guest of African Americans. It was basketball tournament. No officer on duty when I checked in at 12 midnite...not good for me. will not return.

Great beds, good pillows, good breakfast. I stayed with my mom who is handicapped we had the room that was supposed to be for handicapped people, the shower had no bench to sit down in the shower no place to put soap, shampoo. In the online ad for here there was suppose to be a hot tub whirlpool. Neither of them were available in the hotel. We specifically choose this site for the spa, mom uses it to keep her muscle relaxed. She walks with a walker so she is bent over alot. You should check out your on line advertising before you post it to make sure you have the right things in the hotel. The staff were all very good too.

This hotel used to be a LaQuinta, its much better now with new owners as a Best Western. The rooms arent full of cleaning chemical smells and the sheets smell fresh and unscented. It does seem to be a favorite with pot smokers though. Hallways are VERY smoky despite the No Smoking signs. It was coming up through our bathroom drain really bad, and the 3rd floor hallways were full of pot smoke. Tip- put a few inches of water in the tub and leave the bathroom fan on, and put a wet towel in front of the door crack on the floor. It helps. Doubt we will stay again, too smoky for us, we kept the windows open the entire time we stayed despite it snowing. We also noticed the elevator is rated for ONE passenger weighing 250 pounds.

Worst place ever staff very rude my mother in law had made reservations a month ago bought 3 rooms all on different levels and specifically asked to be together since had kids and wanted to be near each other. Cameron the clerk did not care and bascially said he could do nothing they were book did not ever try to accommodate our party. Had him call manager and she did little but gave us one suite only so 2 room could be together. The pool light was shocking everyone if you swam by the light and the finally shut down the pool the next day. Never stay at this place again do not care about helping anyone. If I could give it a negative zero I would highly dissatisfied. In response to owner we never received a free room we had to use our points. An upgrade was only made to one room out if 3 rooms and that was after I can back and complained. We tried to cancel but had to stay because our money would not be refunded. In response we were not satisfied. Highly digushed with the establishment.

Disappointed to say the absolute least. I got there and booked three nights here. There was no hot water, I asked kindly for a room with hot water. They informed me there was a list of rooms with and with out hot water. I said well, I have the one with out. They told me they will call my room when another is available. Never happened. I went down again later the evening and then mention the cold water again, they told me they will take my info for the manager and nothing happened. 3 nights in the middle of winter I had to take cold showers! I followed up asking for my money back and they refused a full refund. I am not one to complain but, I found this ridiculous and they did not seem to care how things like not having hot water could affect their business. Please. Choose another place. They will not meet you half way, they do not care about your comfort. You do not need the stress.

Check in process was difficult. The gentleman before me had problems checking in, as best Western said they had no record of his reservation. Upon my check in, they said they had no record of mine. Asked if I I booked a double queen, and then said they have no double queens available. Had to pay extra for a single king. The pool was cold and dirty, wouldnt recommend swimming in it. The bed was un comfortable, but the staff was friendly and the rooms were clean, which I appreciated.

Don’t let the remodel fool you!! The entire 3rd floor smelled like weed, all weekend long. There was no hot water, switched rooms but had the same problem. When laying in bed we could hear the entire conversation of the room beside us. If you are looking for even a halfway decadent room this is not the place to stay. Will never be staying here again! This place is a joke!
