Had a great experience with Jay. Buying a car is the one thing I regret the most. The pushiness, lies, deceiving, and everything else that goes with it. Jay was none of this. It was my sons first purchase and we both were extremely pleased. Honest, courteous, not looking to make another sale. He was truly concerned that my son purchased a good vehicle for his first car.His professionalism didnt stop there. After the purchase he offered to make a check engine light repair on his dime. While doing this he also replaced the hood shocks, you know the things that hold your hood up, since they did not work. Again on his dime, then offered if we ever needed anything with the vehicle he would help us out. Above and beyond. A true server to the people. i was on the hunt in Sussex county for something cheap but drive able. All the other car lots laughed at me and two were actually rude. I went on ebay and I decided to pick a 2006 ford e 350, I live in NYC my wife and I went to better priced cars in Frankford de, upon arrival I saw my van what I feasted my eyes on was better than the image I seen on ebay, then on inspection my thoughts became spiritual thats when I confirmed that my lord chose this vehicle for me. Jay and Lee made my wife and I feel completely at home. I drove the van home without incident then I did a tune up and oil change and it continues to run fabulously. Better priced cars I would suggest to anyone I know as a great place to go purchase a vehicle at a great price part of my mind makes me feel like I committed some crime and I didnt pay enough. Boyfriend bought a truck for $5250 and it will cost $3500-$4000 just to get a sticker. Frame has holes, cab corners and mounts are bad. Gas tank straps are about to let go and bumper is rotted. Now Im left to deal with this junk because my boyfriend has passed away. Hope you sleep well!

A+ !!I moved here last year from Philadelphia, PA. I live in Frankford now. I also work in Frankford at a chicken feed mill.. Anyway, I needed a cheaper, but reliable car fast! Not being from around here, I took a chance and went to the nearest location around my job. I went over to Dupont Ave, and there was the car lot. Thats where I met Jay ..I came there unsure. Unsure of how reliable.. Unsure of how much.. Unsure of what I truly wanted... Thats where Jay came in; high energy, pleasant natured, but with a straight forward, no bs, demeanor. He layed out everything right away, right to the point.. He didnt dance around pricing or car conditions. He told you what was what. And he knew, what was what.. You can tell, he knows his lot.. So then, I felt very reassured.I ended up deciding on an older 92 Buick .. I may be in my early 30s, but I love the classic, retro styles. He guaranteed it passes inspection and if not, hed make it so..The tires were almost brand new, new battery, clean in and out, with hardly a scratch or smell. Slightly higher miles, but, hey, its from 1992.. and, under $4 grand.. if you need a bargain deal. This is the guy to go to.. Very fair, honest, upfront..He even went the extra mile, and made sure my car passed inspection/emissions.. New horn, windshield wipers, throttle body, oil change, fuel/exhaust clean-out and plugs/wires.. I was impressed. He even took it upon himself to handle all the burdensome D.O.T run-around and paperwork when faced with those obstacles.He was quick to fix any issues (emissions). He made his solutions understood and explained clearly. There were no suprises or excuses. He handled things like a pro. My registration and tags were also a breeze.. Everything worked out seamlessly and before I knew it, I was paid up, and on my way..I took somewhat of a gamble doing business with Jay, (a stranger at the time,), but luckily, it worked out well in the end! Wonderful experience. I took a friend around town to find a car for an affordable price, and we were about to give up before we found this place. Jay was very cool and nice from the first moment we met him. We let him know my friend could only do an $800 down payment, but was more than able to do the rest of the monthly payments, and he let us test drive a couple different cars before he set us up with the one we got. He made the experience of getting a car very stress free and easy, and we walked away very happy that we could get a car on such short notice, quickly and efficiently. Scam Artists. First off, let me state that I’m in the military and apart of the Law Enforcement background. I had to purchase a quick vehicle before I left for a deployment overseas. In my line of work, your word and trust is everything you have. I bought my family a vehicle here due to the good reviews and it seemed legit. I rode around 3 hours to get there, and spoke with “Jay”, he stated the SUV I was buying had NO issues and was a good vehicle. I bought it and got inside and then he stated “it should make it back to where you’re coming from”, “I’m 99% sure”, It should?! You just stated there were no problems. The vehicle only made it 20 miles before the engine completely exploded. I had to have it towed over 2 hours away and I was stranded on the side of the road. I called back and there was no answer from them. I had to have the Engine replaced, and it’s been a headache since I’m not even in the country. Rather then being honest, they would rather make a quick buck and sell people lemons. DO NOT BUY HERE.

Made the 5 hr drive to buy a bus, the bus was exactly what they said it was. Jay was willing and able to do a video for me since the bus was so far away for me to look at in person. With out hesitation jay and his staff went above and beyond what dealers these days do. This place is just like how I remember the old mom and pop dealers being, they take pride in what they do and try to do everything they can to make sure the customer is happy , not just make a sale.

Found a bus they had listed for sale on marketplace, and on a whim decided to message them. Jay was immediately responsive and answered every question I had about the bus even the obscure ones! We were given a very fair price for a 2009 freightliner Thomas C2 mid size bus with a handicap lift, and we made the 3 hour drive down to see it. When we got there he gave us advice, explained anything we weren’t sure of, gave us a detailed tour with transparency of anything even remotely wrong (which wasn’t much of anything). Took a deposit, and held the bus for us for two weeks while we got the rest of the money situated. Yesterday he stayed after hours for us to come down and pick up the bus gave us a few tips on driving and what do and don’t do on it and we were on our way! 150 mile drive home, no hiccups, smooth ride, and me and my girlfriend being extremely happy with our investment.Anyone looking for a skoolie on the East coast, or anywhere if youre willing to travel call this place! They have a big selection, and are extremely knowledgeable and honest.

I purchase a suburban from jay , the overall experience was incredible and easy to say the least , not a normal “car lot” experience, you don’t feel forced or pressured by any means , they where 100 percent honest with me about any issues they knew about and that the vehicle did come from an action ( most dealers won’t say that and hide that info from you , unfortunately a few days after the purchase the rear differential was having issues (most likely the reason someone sent it to auctionbut a unforeseen problem from buyer ... I called jay and explained to him the issues and with out hesitation he told me to bring the truck back and it would be taking care of , a lot of dealerships would leave you stranded and collect more money from a “as-is” purchase , but not a question or debate was brought up. they identified the issues and a few days later I was back up and running ! , and every step of the repair process I was called and kept up to date , for a small local business I am extremely impressed with the customer service they offer And will continue to recommend in the future

The best experience Ive had buying a car, Period! I have 4000 miles on my Toyota I brought from Jay since I purchased it. Were there issues with the car? Yes its a 21 year old car I fixed the little stuff but Jay was true to his word and fixed one big issue the car had. They took extra measures to elbow bump and hand sanitize everything. They care a lot and they will treat you right. I love them!

Ok. So, went and looked at a 22 years old van.Had some cosmetic issues, but I didn’t really care about that.Test drove it. It ran great.Bought it. When leaving the lot, some issues immediately popped up.Electrical issues, fuel pump... turned around and brought it back.To be honest, I was angry and wanted my money back. Where to start? I bought a 2003 Jeep Liberty from them a year and a half ago. Honestly looking back, I was ripped off because it was overpriced for the state it was in at the time. My father and I paid $4000 for it having about 125,000 miles on it. Plus I bet they didn’t even know about other issues it had. Now if they were good car salesmen like they claim, they would have actually done their jobs correctly to assure I was getting a fair deal on the car. And that was just the sales. Afterwards I’ve managed and maintained my car and recently over the last few months, the check engine light came on and I trusted that they would get it fixed. Boy was I totally wrong. I’ve had to get my car fixed 3 separate times and the check engine light still came back. And after getting my car fixed twice, Jay promised that my car was completely fixed. The worst part was that the final time I took it to get fixed, my car wouldn’t even start anymore. They left it worse than I had taken it in. They may mean well but they honestly don’t know as much as they think they do. Their cars are way too overpriced compared to other places and for all that I’ve said, I don’t recommend them at all.

Purchase with confidence; based on photographs and an extremely detailed listing we drove the 375 miles from NC to purchase an older VERY competitively priced convertible from Jay in the Spring of 2014. Thanks to Jay taking the time to take photographs and honestly answering an abundance of questions prior to our trip, three years later, Id do the transaction all over again. I Want to take moment to comment on my experience and my vehicle.I decided it was time to get a different vehicle. I started looking on line and found the vehicle I fell in love with. I wanted a beetle bug since 1984 but never purchased one. I decided this was the vehicle for me. Not having a lot of time to spend I applied on line. Best used car lot around! I just bought my 2nd car from them today. My first car I purchased on March 31st. The very next day, April 1st, I was involved in an accident. I was hit by someone who ran a red light. My new car that I had purchased less than 24 hours before was totaled. I was so upset. Jay and John were so understanding and helpful.
