Beyond Boulder Bike Adventures in Boulder County

Great experience all around! I booked a bike & hike tour for a company outing for 15 people. The founder, Wendy, worked with me to customize the ride and create the perfect experience for our group. She was quick to respond to my many questions and ideas and was very enthusiastic in ensuring we had the best possible ride. On the ride, our guides were outstanding. They were welcoming and positive the entire ride. They shared local knowledge and history and generally made us all feel like we were locals for a bit. They even provided a great brewery recommendation so we could rehydrate after the ride. I highly recommend Beyond Boulder!

Extremely disappointed. I would not recommend this place, if I could give it no stars I would. We had a guided tour scheduled 2 weeks in advance and got stood up. Nobody showed up or tried to contact us even though they had sent us a confirmation email that same morning. It took 2 phone calls and a text after waiting 20 minutes to get in contact with someone. Turns out they charged us but then never booked us a guide. Wasted our time and money Ubering to the hotel.

I was the event planner for a corporate retreat and brought my group of 20 for a bikes and brews tour with Beyond Boulder Bike Adventures. Everything was amazing! Wendy was very responsive and helpful when organizing our tour. Her guides Ben and Debbie were fun, friendly and very knowledgeable. We had a fabulous time cruising beautiful Boulder bike paths and stopping at a meadery and a couple of breweries for tastings and tours. Wendy was super knowledgable and a highlight of our ride was learning about Boulders unique ecosystem and some historical tidbits. Such fun!

I recently used Beyond Boulder Bike Adventures to help organize a bike/brew trip for a large group of friends (18, to be exact). Even though it was not their peak tour season, Kristian was extremely helpful and accommodating during both the planning process and the bike tour itself. The tour itself was great! Kristian and the other guide, Rich, had everything set up and ready to go for us and made sure that we all had a good time while taking in the scenery, as well as the beer at the wonderfully-selected breweries/brewpubs. I highly recommend using BBBA if youre looking for a good time both on the bike path and in the brew house.

Right after I made my Airbnb reservation the ad for this bike tour appeared, and needless to say, I didnt hesitate to sign up. It started at the home of Wendy, the business owner, and followed Boulder Creek, up a fairly mild incline. This was my first experience riding an electric bicycle, and it was awesome! (The electric motor helps to provide just a little bit more "umph" so that you really dont get tired). Ben Vizy was my guide, and I found him to be quite an interesting young man who has been living in Boulder for about a year now (he moved there after graduating from Ohio University on some kind of work-study program).

Great ride and tour. Our guide, Kayla was so nice and it was super fun to hang with her in out tour. She took us to places we never would have found on our own. I now know what Mead is!! 😁 The owner, Wendy is so accommodating and sent personal emails confirming thinjgs with us before the trip. (she is also an awesome source for recommendations for things to do and places to eat in the Boulder area). :I would recommend this tour to anyone who likes to bike, visit local breweries/ distilleries and have a good time.

Wasn’t sure if this would be enough for my daughter who lives in Boulder; or too much for our family friends, who haven’t been on bikes for quite some years! Such a range between us all...yet, we all had a wonderful experience and so very much enjoyed our guides (Biker Babe Suzy/Biker Dude Ben). When I asked one of the young ladies (age 24what she would rate it, she immediately said:10!!! I said it only goes to 5 stars. She said: I still give it a 10!

Wendy is a fantastic host and all of Boulder is her friend. Riding with her and Beyond Boulder Bike Adventures has you feeling like a true local during your visit. Enjoy the ride!

My husband and I, both Boulderites, had a great time on our tour with Wendy. It was so much fun to explore Boulder via bike and discovery new distilleries along the way. Cocktails and biking, wahoo! Wendy was friendly, knowledgeable, and willing to modify the tour to make sure we had a good time. Would definitely do it again!

Wendy was an amazing cyclist, well organized, and really made our bike adventure a great time. The tour had something for all abilities and Wendys knowledge of Colorado was impressive.
