Big Lots in Blair County

Selection is good but the cashier I just had earlier today on 10/12/22 . He has a lot to be desired. Didn’t say “ HI “ or thank you in fact he didn’t say anything! I’m not sure who does the hiring there but whoever hired this young kid should be fired! Most companies hire people with people skills but apparently not here! Upper management needs to be re-evaluated and maybe they should work in these stores. There are other cashiers that work there that say hi and thank you so why can’t this dude. The ink on the receipts are so faded like they need changed ! Common sense doesn’t work for that young man!

Proces could be cheaper for a discount store. They could have more food varieties to pick from.

Store seems very empty lately. Very dingy and dirty looking

Big Lots has just gone downhill since it opened. I used to enjoy going there to see what different and unique things theyd have. Now its just an overpriced mismatched dept store. There wasnt any good values. Selection really stunk. This Altoona location always appears half empty. Really not worth a visit unless youre already in the plaza for something else.

Could hardly believe the sales and discounts. Long lines but very helpful staff.

This location has very good workers and great customer service they make sure you leave happy and could find everything you was looking for. The only thing is that it could use some remodeling especially the floors. Overall a great place and I recommend.

The 1st Big Lot Ive been to that is CLEAN. Really nice.

I am a avid Big lots shopper. I am a member of there rewards program. I just purchased brand new furniture from there. However the service was very poor Tonight. The cashier was very rude and inappropriate. I have not experienced service this poor before. Its a shame.

Love to shop there, they have good prices and constantly getting new items in, they are currently upgrading and is changing it around in there often, I love their makeup and they have great deals always going on, and now starting to get a big clothing section.

Big lots is one of my favorite stores. They have really nice furniture and other products.

I was okay with my experience until I attempted to redeem a 20% off promise only to find out no, my BIG LOTS card "expired "....last time I will shop there after that episode.

Awesome, this store is one of the largest ones that Big Lots has. The staff, very kind.

Always enjoy shopping at Big Lots. A bit disappointed that no salesperson was in the furniture department. Other staff was readily available to answer my question.

I like Big Lots. A variety of things and the furniture is great. I like the program they offer for paying on furniture. Only down fall is they dont deliver.

Store over all was very sparse . Seemed low on Invintory and the prices were far from Competitive. Staff was friendly and helpful. Looked rather neglected and dirty. I dont like to be negative but I was disappointed. Hope this helps.

Some of the food items are past their self life Ive walked into the store and grabbed a bag of chips and they were 3 months past their sell date.

Great for quick furniture finds or almost any household item. However, it can be hard to track someone down to help lift/purchase furniture.

Great place for a little bit of everything. Stopped by and got some Keurig and water plus a few other things. Tomorrow would be better since its having a Veterans Day special for all Veterans. 11% off your entire purchase

I Love Big Lots! I spend a lot of money at big lots! The lady at the register the last 2 times I was at the store is very rude! I mean, its not my fault your working at BL. BUT, ITS YOUR JOB to treat me respectfully. No matter what is going on in your personal life, or anything else. Of course I could spend my money elsewhere, but I probably spend more than you make, so which one of us needs to go? Or just get a attitude adjustment, thatll work, yes, thatll do it. Good day.

Nice store to find a variety of stuff. Sometimes you can find a good deal. Some prices are higher than other places. Sometimes staff are friendly other times not so friendly.

Nice clean store well laid out.Can find lots of different items here from food to furniture usually pretty reasonably priced.

I totally love this store. It is absolutely a one stop shot for anything you need in your home. From furniture, to cleaning supplies, to dinner. Great Store.

Not bad say all. Floor plan a little nonsense-ical. I also loved the steps from the motel 6 we were staying at, down to the Big Lots parking lot.

Nice store and a really great rewards program. Great for kitchen, home goods, toys, and seasonal decor. Their clearance sections are always great.
