Inquired about a used truck for $12,000.. I am not sure who I worked with, but they ran my credit for a vehicle priced at $27,00 and also ran my credit score through over 20 different loan agencies. 3 months later I am still getting letters why I wasn’t accepted and watching my score go down because more are running my credit. Highly do not recommend this dealership.
They didnt listen to me when I told them what the problem was with my 2019 Expedition, so I still have the same problem
Went in to sign up for a Ford lightning about a month ago. They didnt have any options for even ordering or signing up for electric vehicles. The kid "salesman" who helped my dad and I was poorly trained, and honestly has no sales experience whatsoever. Didnt know how to read the room when we said we came for one vehicle, and it had to be the lightning due to tow capacity. Kid tried selling us several things "on the lot" that had less tow capacity than my Ford escape. Kept saying no, and finally just left.
I recently purchased a 2019 Dodge Journey from these guys, not even 2 months later I am having horrible electrical problems, radio randomly switches stations, the windshield wipers randomly turn on, the volume goes up and down and the USB port like glitches. I have called them twice, 1st time they said they would take care of it for me. They transferred me to the service department and I had to leave a message. I never heard back. A week later I called again. Except this time they didn’t even answer. I’m going next door next time I get a car
Twice my vehicle has oil leaking after it being changed! The leak left a horrible oil mess in my driveway! Had to call the store manager after the second time it happened! So much for having trust in them as the next day the family was going on a 19hr road trip! 😬
Customer service is missing the mark! Bought a 21 Expedition Max not even 6 months old and got a nail on side wall of tire. Needed a new one but the tires are discontinued. So in order to have 4 not mismatched tires, I have to replace all of them. Customer service said yep they are discontinued and nothing we can do about. This is the kind of experience that makes you seriously rethink things when considering a new vehicle. Basically, “Sorry you are screwed” is not something a person wants to hear when buying $70-80k vehicle. ….rethink before you buy here imo. Customer is clearly not valued and selling cars with discontinued tires seems shotty… at the very least, make it right. Again nobody spending that kind of money, wants to hear what I heard. Your customer is clearly not a priority. If so, start showing it. Disappointed to say the least, selling cars with discontinued tires. Maybe they were just discontinued okay then make it right. Fix the problem. If I ran my business like this I would lose customers. Maybe Billion can afford to lose a few cause the response was poor.
Worst vehicle I ever bought. The company refused to fix the issue. My second mistake was not taking it back before the 30 day lemon law. Will NEVER buy from them again
Concerning 2 service desk dept managers, very impersonal and unprofessional. While waiting, I listened to them cut down a customer that had just left. As far as work on my car, I pointed out an obvious mistake they had made and they were defensive and wouldnt admit fault. Only response is "well make a note of it". I had it repaired correctly somewhere else.
I went to see about a trade in price for my truck that is in really good shape and they were only willing to offer just over 1/3 of what kbb valued my truck for a trade in. Also my girlfriend has a truck she bought from them. That had a faulty heater from the beginning. Got charged almost 2gs to fix that and reprogram her computer. Which they failed to mention she needed both keys. Also failed to mention they offer a lowner vehicle while hers was getting worked on. I would definitely never give them my business.
DON’T WASTE YOUR TIME!! Extremely poor customer service and unprofessionalism (Ryan- financial manager & Devyn- Salesmantried to pull a fast one over on us.. they became shady when confronted about it.. asked for the call sheet from the bank.. was told it’s against our right.. General Manager blamed it on his employees having “lack of training”... we’ll definitely be taking our business elsewhere.. There’s a big difference between trying to make a profit and completely screwing someone over
Great place to buy a vehicle. They make the buying experience very easy. The guys there were great and I am enjoying my new truck.
08/07/20 - Excellent Service group at Billion Auto Ford Dealership. I had 4 new tires put on my 2014 Ford Fusion Hybrid at a dealership in Minnesota yesterday, and as I drove down through Iowa I heard the sound of what I thought was brake issues. I pulled over and found the soundproofing panels that are on the bottom of the car had come loose and were scraping the ground. I drove another 20 miles with that horrible scraping noise to make it to the Billion Ford Dealership. The Service team at Billion pulled my car in right away, resolved the issue, and got me back on the road in 15 minutes. They took care of the issue without charge. My Thanks to the Service Team for taking care of this !!
Jordan the sales manager was a total jerk. He did not want to work numbers so we went next-door and bought a new car. Listening to the way he talks to his salesman was totally inappropriate. I will never buy a car from Billon ever again!

We were traveling home to Mn from Fl and had to have our truck and camper towed in to Billions.After 4 hours of waiting the crew told us the parts would take 2 weeks. We had the oil changed and they sent us on our way wishing us good luck to get home.They all could not have been nicer. I would highly recommend this place if you ever car trouble.Thank you TomHanks and crew.
Used quick link service. Excellent service. Very good in servicing battery. I can see the Quick Link service becoming very useful because it is like Fast Lube with ability to provide more mechanical work. Attendants at Billion Ford VERY FRIENDLY AND HELPFUL! Keep up good service!!!
Talked to a salesperson at the dealership who took my information from me. He hed me a couple of new cars. He said that hed have to finish my paperwork because they were closing. The jerk never got back to me and didnt return my calls for 2 days. I went elsewhere and bought my new car from another dealership. Poor customer service. Must not have needed the business.
I took my Jeep in for an oil change and the mechanics found I needed a repair that could have put me in danger. They were able to take care of it while I was there and the price was reasonable. Very good experience.
Lonnie at the service department was friendly and went above and beyond for us.Our Honda Odyssey was in for tires balanced/rotated and oil change. We also had it cleaned inside and out. The staff that detailed my van took extra time and attention to detail. They did an amazing job all around! Lonnie also tried to help get my glovebox unstuck at n/c. So.very.pleased. We will be back.This is how service should be. Lonnie is an asset to your team and should be recognized as such. -Monica
Horrible service. I have bought 5 cars from billion. This is the worst one. New saleman who was super nice but new. New manager. They failed to deliver the car. Not once but TWICE! Said none of their drivers wanted to do it. REALLY? Then they dont need a job. They were going to call sioux falls and see if they could get a driver to go from Sioux falls to iowa, then to rapid city, the back to iowa, then back to sioux falls. So i ended up driving to iowa and back straight through. Was promised a check for the drivers fee. This is week 6 and no check. They keep saying once they get the title for my old vehicle. The drivers fee has nothing to do with that. I spent money to drive there and back 5 weeks ago. They bugged me for a down payment. I said no. All i had was the money saved for taxes and licensing. They told me oh yeah there is a $500 delivery fee. Then they didnt even deliver. So i asked about my $500 and they said oh we just put it as a down payment. So no matter that i said no several times they still got their down payment and i have no way to license vehicle. I was told that the title, licensing registration, fees everything was covered in the loan. I have had to fight tooth and nail to get this check. They sent a check and it covers less than half the cost. Called my salemen he said he would talk to his boss. No word. Talked to the boss a week later. He had heard nothing about it. Finally a week after that i called the title lady and she said a check would be over nighted.(after she had to talk to manager because she knew nothing about iti have 2 days to license the vehicle and the treasure said the check may be there but they havent found it in the mail yet. If i want them to go look for it its $25.00. One way or another im going to end up paying what billion ford told me was covered. I have had to ask for all 3 check several times. Im always chasing them down. Sounds like a bunch of new people working there. The worse experience ive ever had with billion. Next time i will stick with my local billion dealership. They didnt deliver on delivering the vehivle to my front door(according to my saleman), the registration check or the drivers fee check. I havent even mentioned that for 5 weekends i have not been able to work my 2nd job because they wont accept iowa temp. Registration. They know this and are still screwing around. I do not recommend this billion for business.
Went in on the 17th and talked to Jason to get my car detailed and inquired about a loaner while my car was being cleaned. He told me to come in the following Monday and they’d get it in. Show up Monday to be told that I need an appointment and wouldn’t be able to get in till Wednesday. Brought the situation to light on Wednesday the day of my appointment and not even a verbal apology.
Absolutely love taking my car here. The guys always take care of me and make sure everything with my car is running good. Had an oil change today. Got my car back to find out they washed and vacuumed it out for me. Way to go guys thanks for the great service!!!
Well start with the Good... The QuickLane Department is great, they are always fast and reliable.Now for the Bad.My wife and i were looking at a 2018 Ford Fusion, when we went in, the salesman was from the Sioux City store and just helping out. They offered us $3000 LESS than KBB for my trade. I also do a lot of research when I go car buying, so i know what a good deal should be. They were only going to be taking of the rebates from the car, no dealer discount like other dealers advertise, and actually OFFER. They told me they were already losing $500.
Jake and his team were great. I was passing through Clear Lake in my motorhome and broke a belt on the front tire. Not only did he get me taken care of, the new tires were better and less money than I paid for the original ones.Thank you,Al
I bought a 2008 dodge pickup from them. Awhile ago it didnt go has planned, the truck ended up breaking down. 4 stars to Billions in Clear Lake and 5 stars to a young man named Q who was outstandingly helpful and easy to talk to. He helped us find the perfect vehicle online and kept in contact with us through the entire process of getting it there, even though he was working a different location the following week. Staff at Clear Lake seemed short staffed and a little unorganized. We got passed around between several people and the waiting room when the car got there. A bit of a misunderstanding with paperwork but Josh was accomidating in finance and made it right in the end. Basically Q is awesome and we love our new car from Billions.
I had an excellent experience with Billion Ford in Clear Lake Iowa. My car had broken down on the interstate and I needed another car to get back to my home in Minnesota. They were happy to loan me a car and kept me up-to-date on the repairs that needed to happen. I was so impressed with them I actually asked them to detail my car as well. Ive had it detailed several times before but their work mechanically and was the best Ive experienced! I would highly recommend this dealership because of their kindness to my situation.

My wife and were returning to MN when we had a low fuel warning alarm on our 2012 F350. We stopped and pulled into Billion Ford the next AMDave Funk and his crew found bad fuel filter and also added anti jellingsupplement which was needed!! even tho I had been using a supplement for that it had not kept up!! I purchased my second car from Billion in Mason City as is, but a couple months later there was a terrible grinding noise, I took it to my mechanic and it was the drive shaft, long story short Billions mechanics checked it out and advised their price would be a bit more than my mechanic so they cut me a check to help pay for the repairs! They definitely helped me out as there wasnt a warranty but they wanted to make sure I was as satisfied with this car as I was the first one!
Brandon did an outstanding job of explaining everything, .no pressure, very personable and seemed to take a personal interest to make sure the vehicle was exactly what I wanted and needed. He was very knowledgeable and explained all the features on this truck and made sure I was comfortable with it before I left the dealership. A special thanks to Travis the sales manager who went over and above to help make this deal happen. The whole deal was done quickly and professionally with no b.s. Even though the dealership is almost 2 hours from home it was worth the drive and I will return!

This place was very good to us when we really needed help on the day after Christmas. Wed been driving 9 hours and blew a tire valve. -7 degrees outside, dark, and baby is hungry and tired. We caught Anthony in service right before closing. He and the tech, Jordan, went out of their way to put on a new valve and restore the tire. They couldve added lots of fees given the situation. We were afraid it would be another repair we couldnt afford. But the final price was lower than I couldve hoped for. The service was great and we were able to wait in the cozy lounge and feed the baby. This is an exceptional dealership service department. We really appreciate their help.
We were traveling to MN to visit family. We live in Mo and were driving our old Honda Civic with trepidation, We would prefer to rent a vehicle but we found out a few years ago that rentals dont come with snow tires. With our brand new snow tires and our car previously checked by our mechanic we hoped for a nice, uneventful trip. Around Thornton we discovered that was not to be. We heard a loud whining and zing and our battery light came on. What to do? We stopped at a convenience store where they told us if we could get to exit 194 there were places that could help. As we pulled off I saw Billion Ford and we pulled in. We were met by Tony Papouchis aka our angel. He got us in right away and they were able to diagnose that our air conditioning compressor had frozen up. He said it would be far cheaper and quicker to bypass the compressor and find a belt that would make the alternator, etc. run. So Billions expert mechanic was able to come up with the size belt that would work. After about an hour and a half we were back on the road and very thankful to Billion and their attentive staff to get us back on the road. Again thanks a Billion, like youve never heard that before and a special thanks to Tony Papouchis for his kindness and professionalism.
Brandon provided excellent service during our recent purchase of a used F-550. He was personable, honest and overall very comfortable to work with! I was a little apprehensive to drive my minivan into a car lot and ask to test drive a huge truck with a couple small children in tow, but he handled it like a champ! Any questions I had were met with immediate answers. He followed up after the sale and gave a sense that he genuinely cares for his customers. Kudos to Brandon! He may be newer to Billion, but hes off to a great start!!

Very satisfied with solution!!Saturday, December 2, 2017zDrove 2.5 hours to purchase a used F350 diesel. Had worked out a FAIR price and put money down over the phone. Arrived and found it had 17k miles, not 15 like we were told and it desperately needed new tires. Although the price for the truck was fair, adding another $1200 to price, to put new tires on, didn’t make sense, they didn’t even offer to pay half of the cost of tires. Drove 2.5 hours home without the truck.

Brandon helped me get into a 2012 Ford Fusion. He was wonderful! Very helpful, patient, and friendly. Brandon and the Billion Ford staff made sure I walked off of the lot with a car that day! All of their cars, new or used, are in amazing condition. They make sure their cars on the lot are in tip top shape. If you can’t find anything you like on the lot, they have 20 or more Billion Fords in the United States.I am so satisfied with their customer service, I will definitely be back when it comes time to get into another vehicle.
Last November I bought Ram 2500 pickup truck and dealt with Brent Christeson. Even though I wasn’t interested in a Ford Brent was able to get me a brand new Ram 2500 tradesmen from billion auto’s Ram store in Sioux Falls. Brent was very knowledgeable, professional and easy to deal with. He helped me find exactly what I was looking for. Billion was very competitive on price and even though they didn’t have what I wanted in Clear Lake Brent was able to find what I needed by searching through Billion’s inventory from other locations.
Horrible service department. Company truck needed a new engine. Not a issue. I just find it very unprofessional that we had to constantly call for updates. When we were told they would call we never heard from them. Read another review similar issue. Also called to hear ringing none stop. Fast forward 2 weeks, in Ford Dodge and something blew on the engine. Guessing it was turbo, called Billion who replaced motor, and was told wasnt worth their time to get it towed and fixed, when asked about the possibility of craftsmanship (something not done right unfortunately people make mistakesguy got a attitude and hung up. Ill do what I can to prevent very large fleet of company trucks to use different dealer. And to think I was interested in a New F-150 for personal use. Wont be spending a dime here.
Took my Windstar in for Factory Recall Repair in Early July 2016. Was told by mechanic they would call me when finished. After receiving no call and closing hours approaching, I called only to have phone ring and ring and ring. I went out there to find Van sitting outside. Told to take it home for A couple days because a needed adhesive to complete the recall procedure was not in stock. They would call me when it came in.Two months go by, I drive back out to see if they forgot about me. Was reassured that my name along with others were on A list to call. This time told they had and always had the adhesive but the tool that applied it was Primary and only reason they had not called me. They tried ordering tool from 3rd party venders only to find it did not work and now were waiting on FORD for tool and it would arrive shortly and then phone me.Middle of November arrives and still no call. I again drive out wondering why I still had not been called. Was told by Dept manager work could now be completed and scheduled appointment for two days later.Two days later arrived, Windstar was dropped off and I was given ride home (Very nice). I told them I had A ride back to pick it up when complete. Mgr told me it would take 2-3 hrs but he would call me when it was finished. Once again closing time approached, my ride there went in with me to be sure Van was done. Manager could not be immediately found. I took A look around and found Van parked outside in the back. I assumed van was done and almost took it with my 2nd set of keys but decided to go back inside for one last search of the Dept mgr.Walksing back in I run into manager who spots me and asks me if I got the keys for it that I had left with him. I said No and he got them for me and told me it was finished. Sarcasticly I told him Thanks for calling me!He ignored me and I took van home.I give auto repair/service dept grades - Quality:A, Friendly employees:A, Communication with customer:FI will never go back for auto repair again. Even if they would have got A C in Communications I WOULD go back. The F grade was so bad it over shadowed the two grades of A. Very sad, because it is A very clean modern facility!
