Blackburn's BG Family Food in Greenup County

The pharmacy is still open and they have gone out of there way for me to get prescriptions even when they got called in at the end of the day. Very caring group of people.

Theyre no longer in business. The pharmacy is still inside the building but nothing else.

No grocery store anymore. :( only the pharmacy now. The ppl in the pharmacy are great! Super nice. They will be moving the pharmacy out in front of the building they are currently in. Into a smaller building next to the gas station.

Good prices on most items. Even though it is a full service grocery store/pharmacy, we typically only shop there for meats. Their butcher shop offers a great selection and will cut to order. When they have sales, the prices are hard to beat.

Nice, clean and pleasant place to shop. Love the ham salad 😍 and the deli looked very nice 👌 I will be back in a couple of days to get some ok other things I need, just didnt have time this evening. 🙋🏼‍♀️

Produce here is never great, the store could use an update and a bit more cleaning. However, they have THE best ham salad and Colby cheese ever.

Usually good deals on meat,especially chicken.

I dont get to go here too often it is a very great grocery store it reminds me of the old school grocery stores in the staff make you feel like you went back in time the prices are awesome its always clean and friendly and its a nice place to shop

Had gotten a turkey there took 3 hrs to cook it was sour as hell. Like it was thawed out and refrozen. Management would not take it back like it was our fault. We both know how to cook a turkey. Is the only store that carries my dogs favorite treats. They try to sell out of date food. I would not shop there if I did not have to.

Used to have great meat selection but no more

Great family owned store I love shopping there, they have great meats, best priced deli meats and cheeses and the best homemade ham salad ever and as if that wasnt enough reasons to shop there, here is a few more, they also have a huge selection of old fashioned and christmas candy. In addition to all this you earn points when you use your store card toward future gas or grocery savings There are a lot of reasons to shop here, so stop by and say hi to Gary or Nate Blackburn or any of their friendly employees They are always ready to serve you.

Convenient place to grocery shop. Employees are very nice and courteous.

Gary Blackburn is a cheap SOB, but theres some deals to be found here. Just be careful when purchasing any meat products.

Friendly staff. I buy bulk meat. The butcher there cuts to suit your needs

Very satisfied with everything each time I visit store. Everyone is very polite and helpful. Now Im enjoying getting my flowers there once again as well. Thank you Gary, Nathan and the rest of the staff. Also the fuel points are valuable to us who are retired.

Some times they are polite. Most of the time not so much. Not to mention you have to always check the dates of anything you buy!

In my opinion not sure how that store is even still open. I would never shop there but go there occasionally for certain items my dad wants from there. The place looks dirty and always seems to only have 1 cashier.

I would give this place five stars but no one is perfect. The always have the dresses meats and veggies and am assortment of dried goods
