Very efficient and friendly. Helped that is was not busy.
The lady who waited on me was very nice. I did have about a 20-minute wait because there were quite a few people. They have four different stations which helps the line go a little faster. It was clean. I feel they should have a few more softer chairs for the elderly instead of hard benches to sit on.
Staff always friendly. Tries to get you in and out quick.
Imagine that!! Efficient AND friendly! What a pleasant experience. Great crew.
So so sad they dont know why they are their
Needed to get my registration renewed and update my address on my drivers license. In and out in less than 10 minutes during lunch on a Friday. 10/10. Deena was fantastic - very helpful and friendly.
Very nice and professional people that work there. Fast service
Very rude workers, wish I could give 0 stars. Very grumpy old women working who were yelling at a young teenager. Told me straight up I would fail because I studied online, and yelled at me for not understanding the vision test. Was complaining and gossiping about people while I was taking the test. Very very rude and unprofessional, don’t go here. I hope these workers are addressed and given a lesson about treating people better. I hope they are put in their places soon. Horrible experience
One of the worst BMV to get ur driver license or to renew one. They require documents and once you bring all ur documents they find someone else to complain about. Specially when you aren’t citizens. Not a first time that I tried
Very polite and friendly. They get you in and out as quick as they can.
The man who waited on my wife at the Tiffin BMV was Very Rude and Condescending!! We Will Not be going back to this BMV!!!
Today the line was long, but they kept it moving. Very friendly and helpful.
First time having a smooth interaction with the bmv.
Even when they are busy, you get through at a reasonable pace.
First time they were very disrespectful but the second trip they were very pleasant and nice, guess it all depends on the day ahaha
Went in there about 30min before code, that was probably the one and only time I was the only one in there. Tim helped me get a new license and was a pleasure to work with.
They are very fast, friendly service. I do wish they would make the line go out the door when the weather is nice rather than allow everyone to cram in there. Other than that, they have good service
Waited over 30 minutes. Then when only one other person in front of me, the manager announces he needs to shutdown immediately. Said it was an emergency and his other staff person had to leave and he couldn’t stay open with one person. The emergency was a sick child....really? Emergency??! He could have finished assisting the ones who were already “checked” in and then closed. Such a waste of my time! I will NEVER return....ridiculous!
The absolute rudest people work here with no professionalism!…went to get my sons permit, waited 30 minutes in line for the lady to get an attitude with me and tell me they stop doing them at 4:30..if they are going to do that they should have a sign up on the door so they don’t waste peoples time! I understand working with the public and things get hectic but the way they handle things and talk to people is unnecessary!
They were quick and efficient. Super kind as well. 5 stars, would recommend.
TIM was the person who took care of me today. He was quite friendly and very helpful. We didnt waste any time he got me in and got me out so I could move on with my day. Thanks Tim!
I had the displeasure of being serviced by Tim and he was quite rude. I usually go to Findlay bmv but opted for tiffins for faster service. There seemed to be nobody in line except my friend and I yet he seemed to rush me faster than I could gather my things. Then almost wouldn’t let me get my updated license because it wasn’t required til next year and was degrading in his insistence. To bad buddy I’m here today to get ahead of it - seemed like he didn’t want to go through the hassle of taking a picture and was all the more rude in the process despite there being no line.Don’t be like Tim, be kind
The guy that works there, I think his name is Tim, is so rude to people it is sad. After reading other reviews of him, many people feel the same. Someday he will need his furnace fixed in -5 degrees, or a drain clogged or his car is broke down at the side of the road, That call will be to one of us because this is Tiffin. Nowhere to hide.
Of all the bmvs Ive had to visit, this is by far my favorite. Its never been crowded and Ive always had fast friendly service.
Didnt get her name but she was rude! Not only to me but also to an elderly couple before me. She sounded like she had better things to do/ hateful. Definitely wont be coming back to Tiffin to get my drivers licenses renewed!
What a GREAT group. The gentleman saw that I was handicapped and stopped what he was doing to help me get in and get registered. What a great dedication to service. Nice job!!
Can I give the zero stars? Since I was little Tim has been left to treat people however he wants because tiffin only has one BMV. I dont think I have ever heard a good word about him. Some thing needs to change. My family will not be going back. I will drive an hour if I have to.After waiting outside for almost an hour at the bmv the Tim told us we were to late for my child to take her permit test because they close at 12. It wasnt even 11:30. I told him we we have been checked in since 10:58. He stated he did a last call at 10 minutes till 11:30 for permit tests but you werent inside yet and thats not my fault. I told him I called when we got there to check what we had to do the lady stated just wait in line after a bit a guy in line says did you guys check in. Tim said who did you talk to and I said the lady over there he said whats her name and I said I didnt know he shrugged his shoulders and said I cant do anything about it. Have a good day. I felt as though he was kicking us out. He didnt care about our business. Which I had planned to get my new plates today too.
They are ridiculous over there they didnt have the ladys name in the computer as owning a Ford van when she had just got her 30 day tags there not even 30 days ago. She had to drive clear back home to get the title to go back over and get the tags for her van.
If I was you - I would go to Findlay for better service. First they tell you one goes out if the building then one can come in the building. It will not matter your number. The the BMV employee calls 145 so then Im next after 45 minutes and the only other BMV employee calls out 552 no letters just #s! So I get a little annoyed. Then they try to explain ~ I then say nevermind you are just waisting time. ~ GO TO FINDLAY they are so much nicer!!
Fast friendly service. If you have problems with this office, go to Fremont. TIFFIN is the Best BMV I have ever been to. Very efficient & polite. I am from Fremont. Their BMV is a HORROR! Stay with Tiffin BMV. Its worth the drive 😊
The lady who renewed my vehicle registrations was rude and obviously knew nothing about customer service. I will never go back to this place again. Was told that I had to "wear my mask the next time I had to come in." after I told her I dont wear masks. I cant due to my medical condition. Maybe if she wasnt so worried about me not having a mask on, she might have paid more attention to doing her job so that I didnt have to repeat my address four times. I would rather drive the extra miles to another BMV than deal with this place again.
In 1984 my father laminated my ssn card. Hasnt been a problem last 20 years. Had a hero behind the counter wouldnt except it
The staff are extremely rude. If you call them, they get irritated and get an attitude. There’s no use in even trying to call them for simple information. They make it seem as if you’re wasting their time. If at all possible, I’d take my business elsewhere.
The guy who manages this location is extremely rude & condescending. He has an unprofessional appearance & attitude. It’s extremely unlikely that I will use this location again. However, the 3 ladies who work there were friendly & knowledgeable
Very friendly and get service. Weve had no issues when coming to this branch of the BMV. Only thing i wish that they had more seeing that is comfortable for the longer wait times that happen.
Very long wait. The one worker sat there and associated with someone for 20 mins when there was atleast 20 ppl still waiting to be helped. Guess I will go to findlay next time.
Very very rude every time I go in there especially the older lady. Seems to me she needs to retire or find a different job thats not in customer service. After the last time of me going in there and the way my elderly disabled mother was treated, I will never be going here again. I recommend spending the extra gas money to go somewhere else.
The lady helping me asked if I wanted to pay for my tags for two years instead of one, I smiled and said no, I have in the past but Im a little broke this year. She then suggested maybe it was time that I got rid of my custom plates so that I could afford to pay for two years at a time. She didnt say it with a smile or a laugh, it was just rude.
I went there today to transfer my out of state drivers license. The older woman at the counter was so rude to me. She didnt even stop to listen to anything I was saying and told me that my birth certificate wasnt any good, when technically i dd not need it because I already have a drivers license. Im not sure why I was treated this way. Maybe its time for her to retire if she doesnt want to do customer service anymore. She slapped my papers down in front of me and I was so shocked at the treatment I received that I left. I would never go back there.
It is apparent through their customer service that you cannot go anywhere else in town for their services. Dont bring your children unless you want dirty rude looks from the staff. When the paperwork I had wasnt what they wanted an employee in the corner (not sure why they werent helping the ten people in line behind mestarted chiming in yelling at me that I should have had everything. Terrible experience, from now on Ill make the forty minute drive to findlay
Pretty pathetic customer service. I tried to renew my husbands tags for his truck and was told I couldnt. Not just simply explained but very rudly informed. Waited half an hour to do something I did a couple years ago, with no problem but now theres all these stipulations? The curly haired red head really needs an attitude check if shes going to work customer service. Yet, she was going to let me renew the boat trailer tags, both forms having my husbands name. Thank you for wasting my time with piss poor means of educating someone.
Got married and needed new license. I supplied everything but one thing was different from marriage license than drivers license. So they said needed birth certificate. Went home got it and returned. Went through everything again and now didnt need my birth certificate. The workers were very nice but they need to figure out what the heck they are doing.
My husband and I had a great experience here. Wanted to renew both of our drivers licenses and get new tags for a car. We were waited on immediately, and the person who waited on us was very pleasant. Elimae was very fast efficient and friendly. Thank you.
The friendliest staff Ive ever encountered at the BMV. Tim and Sharon were great. Even if they told me I needed extra documentation for something, I would be ok with it because they will call Columbus first and verify if I need to take an extra step. Norwalk and Fremont would just say "you need this" and thats it.
I wish I could give zero stars. With all the negative reviews, why haven’t they done anything about the rude staff here? It was a pain in the neck to get my name changed on my license here, and the lady who did it was so nosy “Are you sure you want a new one, you just got this one?” YES, I came here to do my business, want to pay for my license and get out as soon as I can. I went a few weeks ago to renew my license and had some trouble with the vision test and she had to loudly announce it in front of the other 20 people that were there. That was a little embarrassing. I’ll be going to Upper the next time I need anything.
I have a premature baby that has BPD which is a breathing problem that requires oxygen. His prescription for a handicap tag was made out with him having my last name, instead of his dads. They asked for a new one to be faxed, so I asked for a call to let me know he received it and he told me he was too busy to call. Now today I go back out to be told the fax didnt come through, and now Im stuck walking the Columbus nationwide childrens hospital in 90 plus degree weather with a baby on oxygen because 1 of 3 people couldnt call and tell me the fax was not complete, which wouldve taken 3 seconds! In return all I got told was sorry, come back once its been faxed or I have a new prescription.
I got there and they took care of me right away. Very quick and efficient team. I forgot my checkbook and they were willing to let me run to pay for things and process my request. Fortunately I had enough cash.
I doubt I can count the times I have been in this office. As with any goverment agency that deals with the general public you will have ups and downs. I have never had a negative experience at this office. I can not remember waiting excessively to be waited on. The majority of the time Im in and out in less than 20 minutes. (Try L.A. its an all day event STANDING on a colored line on the floor for hours.I have always gotten solid answers to questions and the proper information. Oh and the driving manuals..... That big wooden book shelf you had to pass to get to the counter.... Right there... In front of God and everyone. CDL, motorcycle and the general driving, but I digress.Heres a little advice for when visiting the BMV. Please turn the ringer down on your phone. (For the sanity of those around you.Have your papers in order. (It helps tremendously. Please remove your chewing gum .(you know.. the little wad heavenly joy youve been grinding on like a cow in my ear for the last ten minutes while we wait to be helped. Please do not express loudly your disappointment at the line size when entering the room..( patience is the key here. It goes pretty quickly, even faster if your not upset about it.Lastly.... For the love of humanity,PLEASE! Pull up your fleecy pajama bottoms. ( The rest of us know and understand youve been blessed with all that, but we may have to take a vision test in short order and need not be blinded.Thank you in advance for you cooperation and enjoy your visit to The BMV.
They are a breath of fresh air compared to the BMV in Fremont! They were all very nice to me and we had a nice conversation about good places to eat in Tiffin.
Poor, poor public service and passive aggressive attitudes from several staff and especially the male that is apparently in charge. Only had, maybe, one uneventful visit there. Thought all DMV were like this until I went out of town.Huge difference in service out of town! Cant believe the government of Tiffin would let this go on.....I personally will not be stepping foot in there again. It is an atrocity that this place has a monopoly on this service in Tiffin.
