Well its been a year since Ive been there. All new people the place STINKS (like urinethe hvac came on and fresh lysol air came raining down. The Coffee taste like the cups and pots have been in lysol absolutely disgusting. Thanks Bob but I wont be back
This was just one of many visits to this Bob Evans in Rehoboth! Staff is always very friendly and attentive. Food always good.
Pleasant server good meal. Glad we stopped in on way to beach. Part of our yearly trip.
The food we got was cold. The cantaloupe was hard and inedible. I like Bob Evans but this was not a good experience
The staff at Bob Evans was proficient, and it was really simple to utilize. In the allotted period, my order was completed. The server offered some helpful food recommendations as well. Very welcoming to families.
Local dining experience. Courteous and friendly staff. Food is excellent. Lots of parking. Yummy
I love the food and atmosphere of this place and the friendly service. I like it so much in fact that I applied for a job here!!! True story!
I have been to Bob Evan in Rehobeth twice in the last two months. Both times I have had a bad experience. First time it was for Carryout and was told they had no chip beef and was out of sausage and gravy. Ok so I went elsewhere. Last week I went there for breakfast. There was about 12 people in the restaurant. After waiting about 5 minutes for someone to Realize we were standing there I was told I would have to wait another 10 minutes to be seated. We were the only people waiting. When I asked if I could at least be seated I was told no There was about 6 people working. I counted the cars when I left and there were 11 cars in the parking lot. I guess Bob Evans don’t want or need customers. They will be the next business to fall in Rehobeth.
We arrived at 620 pm on a friday night for dinner at the lewes de location the parking lot was for the most part empty and once inside only saw 5 tables seated . The cashier came over to seat us after ringing out a customer and when we requested a booth was told thier were no booths avaliable and we would have to wait to be seated. There were 2 booth open near where other customers were sitting but we were still told we had to wait but a table was avaliable which was Only a few table away where the 2 empty booths were. Dont quite understand stand why we could not be seated so we decided to go else where for dinner tonight.
Fast and friendly service! Yummy breakfasts with many platter options.
Came in close to closing (I hate doing thatand I was welcomed and had GREAT service and GREAT food! Thank you for taking good care of me coming in late!
Very good waitress. Food great. Great parking
First Bob Evans experience and my last. Food was cold, and there were so many flies around; they should have paid for the meal! It wasn’t a pleasant visit!
Bob Evans is a great place for breakfast. Great choices. You must try the Western omelet and the banana bread. The servers are very attentive and can handle large family with pleasure. Enjoy!
Great place for breakfast. We all had pancakes and bacon or sausages. The kids menu included piggy pancakes, the pancakes made into a pig face. The server was attentive.
Love Bob Evans. Good food at reasonable prices. Nice portions size. You cant go wrong.
As a fan of Bob Evans, this one is really low on the ones I would revisit and I cant count the issues. We were seated fairly quickly by friendly staff and orders were taken fairly quickly as well. I knew things were going to start going wrong when our waiter (who may have been new....ok, hell get that first passcame back to confirm our meat choices. No rolls or bread were offered as would be normal with the pot roast order.Wife gets her food where she ordered a breakfast dish with home fries (the cubed potatoes). She ended up with Sweet Potato home fries (which we didnt even know was a thing). My breakfast comes out and I ordered French Toast but instead get pancakes. Those go back for the pancakes. The womens bathroom was a disaster according to my wife to the point where they wouldnt even use it they were so disgusting; however, upon reporting it to staff they appeared to promptly start handling that.I try to give some slack to the new guy, but multiple issues and poorly kept bathrooms just completely drew this down to a two star.
Pretty great overall. I would definitely go back. The food was really good and came out quickly. The server helped with some good suggestions on the menu as well. Very family friendly place.
The waitress we had was very nice and tge food was very good. The restaurant unfortunately smelled like a bad sewer which made it difficult to eat. The bathroom was horrible and only 1 stall had toilet paper. It was very obvious of the smell but was never mentioned or taken care of by management. We were traveling back to NY so we didnt have many options on a place to eat so we stayed. Otherwise we would have left due to the smell.
Unfortunately one of the worst experiences we have had in a long time. From being forgotten after seated, having to repeatedly ask for what we ordered, food coming out cold.. it just wasn’t the best experience. The waiter was new, which explained some of the issues but when we addressed the problems we were told “I don’t cook it, I wish I could go behind and cook it for you”.
Clean restaurant wonderful wait staff . Food was so good .
Ordered Rare Steak, it came out Medium Well.I ordered poached eggs.... like used in the traditional American breakfast dish Eggs Benedict. Especially, that before ordering POACHED - I asked if they did SOFT-BOILED [places RARELY do...so poached is a fair back-up.NEVER had this happen before {but through google search- for what to call that I received}- A fried egg is commonly referred to as a “poached egg” in Indian English. In central and northern India’s English-speaking middle classes and mid-level restaurants, “single-fried” refers to sunny side up (also known as a “bullseye”and “double-fried” to over hard.So - I received a Double fried or bullseye or an Indian poached egg.Did not know that I had to specify a type of Poached egg.Server came once to check - I was away from the table, she never came back to the table again until the other member of my party was finished their meal. The Hash Browns were good. (Home fries were unavailable)
Decent value for breakfast but meals tasted pre-cooked. Everything except eggs were luke warm or cool.
This was my first time to make an order on line for take out. It was very easy to use and the people at Bob Evans were efficient. My order was ready in the time allotted and the server double checked to make sure it was all there. I was even greeted with a nice smile!
Walked in empty tables but lots of people waiting. No greeting so I went to Lewis dinner. Got seated right away. Bob Evans no service.
Pleasantly surprised. Great omelets and huge portions. Banana bread was offered instead of toast or biscuit. Well worth the visit.
It was a terrible experience, coffee was Luke warm, it wasnt busy, and it took forever, food was delivered warm not hot took over 45 minutes for the food to come. We had a table of three. Waitress was doing her best.
Good food at a reasonable price but short handed on servers.
Oh how I love good old fashioned comfort food! The prices are extremely good, the food is great. Just what a weary traveler needs when theyre far from home and craving a nice family meal.
I enjoyed the quick and attentive service that we received. Unfortunately they didnt have the cold coffee I wanted to try but it created me a drink which was nice.
Frequent issues with delivery. Ordered take out tonight and items were missing and what was supposed to be lemonade was basically just unsweetened lemon water.
Terrible experience. Waited over 20 minutes and decided to leave and go to Rehoboth Diner which was a better choice. Bob Evans was short staffed and a lot of people waited and left
This is one of the best breakfast places I have been to the service was pretty fast the food was amazing and they didnt screw up my order like they do at Dennys The gift shop there was good also but it lacked in variety.
Unfortunately, the worst franchise that Ive found in the chain. The food is acceptable but the lack of staff causes unnecessary waits and less than stellar table service. I dont expect a lot from any Bob Evans but this is overall unpleasant.
The waiter just wouldnt listen to us and I had to ask her three times. Food was brought to us and the waiter began to sweep the floor near us. She kept sweeping the floor the whole time. This place was empty and the reason for the empty tables in this restaurant became clear to me - they do not like and do not care about visitors.
Fantastic fresh food. also very helpful friendly staff. Also please give New york state the honor of bringing Another Restaurant to albany please because Jamestown ,NY is about 4hr drive. To far to drive 🤗
It was good service and a good simple breakfast for a reasonable price. I always find it a bit off putting when I approach a restaurant and the glass on the door is smeared with dirty fingerprints though.
Service was terrific, very reasonable prices, food was warm, nor hot
Ok service except for the elderly host who was also the cashier, first seen..first impression remember that in any business. The protein skillet was not good with spinach with the stems all hanging off.
Went to breakfast at the Rehoboth Beach location with my daughter and her twin toddlers. We had just moved in the day before and hadnt had a chance to buy groceries, so we took the children there.I can say a lot but the main theme is they are not a child friendly service. Yes toddlers can get loud and they are messy, i know this and always tip higher because of this. They dont eat at restaurants often. The host seating us was not happy to have to get high chairs, the waitress was so so. The twins did use crayons on the wall, however the walls already had crayon writing on them. As soon as they started writing my daughter quickly stopped them. At the end the waitress came and said i will bring a cloth for you to wash the walls with. We were floored she actually came back with a cloth. We did not wash the walls. Paying the cashier who was also the host, he proceeded to tell me how the credit card POS device worked. He then gave me tipping options. Up to that point i had been so disgusted with them i was still going to tip generously because i do know waitressing is difficult. Needless to say the tip was bare minimum due to the rudeness of the staff.
I normally do not leave reviews, but...... We decided to order dinner at Bob Evans at the Rehoboth location after a long day of moving stuff into our condo. We were tired and hungry so took advantage of door dash. 40 minutes later, food arrived. We were missing a meal, so called Bob Evans and the lady who answered the phone knew exactly what we were missing and said we had to call doordash delivery person to come back and get it. We tried several times to get in touch with the person who delivered our food. Number would not work. Called Bob Evans back and was put on hold by the same lady for over 20 minutes! So my husband decided to drive there and get the meal. He said customer service there was so terrible. Whats worse, is that the food wasnt even fit to eat! Never again at this Bob Evans.
Christine waited on us. Great waitress we asked for recommendations on food. Everything she told us to eat was delicious. When we come back down to the area will definitely be eating here again
After a long day of moving my younger brother from one place to another, my other brother and I decided to try Bob Evans. We had an exceptional waitress named Ashley. My brother got the ham steak dinners with mashed potatoes and green beans. I had the chopped steak with fried onions and mushrooms and also broccoli with cheese and mashed potatoes with gravy. The food was great but it was Ashley that made a great impression on us. She was there when we needed her.I had a side salad and I wasn’t sure what dressing I wanted and she had suggested a poppyseed Italian dressing. So good….We really like how she came across. She was professional, courteous and had a smile on her face.My brother was also excited about how she was with us.My brother is an ex marine and is very hard to make him that excited about our service. He treated me dinner that night and gave an enormous tip to Ashley. Our bill came to $25 and his tip was $20.He went ahead to pay the bill while I was waiting for Ashley to come back to give her the tip.I had informed her that she did an astonishing job and normally by brother gives a 20% tip when we get together. But she was outstanding, her smile on her was priceless and informed me that it was her second week working there.5 star all the way…….Thank you Ashley!!!!
Ate lunch at the Rehoboth Beach location with my dad. Not busy at all. Three servers that I saw. Seated promptly and our server took our drink order. About five minutes passed before she came back and forgot to get our drinks, but took our food order while she was there. She came back and got dads drink right but not mine and had to come back with the right drink. We waited a good 25 minutes in a *not busy* restaurant for our food, and we only got it after my dad finally flagged down the server and threw his hands in the air. Then she was right there with the food that had definitely sat in the window. I ordered steak & eggs from the breakfast menu: over-easy eggs, medium-rare steak. The eggs were hammered and basically fried, definitely not over easy. The steak was such an odd shape that one side was well, the middle was fine, and the other side was rare. The hash browns tasted like grease and nothing else and were inedible. My dad ordered a chicken/noodle/gravy over a biscuit thing that was, again edible, but not good. He said the chicken tasted old. He liked the biscuit. And nothing was seasoned on either of our meals. I get that Bob Evans clientele is generally old and probably on a lot of blood pressure meds, but a little salt and pepper isnt too much to ask. The server was also extremely inattentive for how slow business was, and when we told her how we found the food didnt seem to care. This is the second poor experience at a Bob Evans (the other in a different citythat Ive had on the last six months, so I doubt Ill be back anytime soon. If ever.
Just called to get carry out and Everett was really nice over the phone as well as when I went in to pick it all up. Made sure I had everything and even included crayons and bendy straws for the kids meals. Was an awesome positive experience during my short visit back home, love me some bob evans
The do have the best sausage and gravy & biscuits, however today I had to return it twice because it was cold! Not the waitresses fault. She was quick. Third time was a Charm!
Great price delicious food, got the honey chicken with biscuit and eggs was the best
Fork tender pot roast dinner is one of my favorites. I always get coleslaw to go with it
We asked for napkins 4 times, but our waitress couldnt care less. We got plastic silverware? The fork broke trying to cut an EGG. The food was mediocre. Someone in the kitchen got hungry and ate my friends toast that she was supposed to get. Not to mention the toast was burnt. Uncleaned tables and dirty floors. Moldy looking ceiling? Yikes...
Food was good but didnt have everything we wanted.
