Book Drop was such an easy way to sell my books! You just text the number, get a quote, decide what to sell, and drop you books off at your nearest drop box. The quotes are not as much as I thought given the great condition my books are, but they also give you a $5 bonus for first time customers. I’d definitely consider selling your books to Book Drop!

Book drop is an easy way to get paid from your old text books. All you have to do is text them pictures and drop them off at one of their convenient locations and voila! You’ll be paid a few days later. I got $82 for 7 text books. It would have taken me forever to try to sell them individually and I would have gotten less because of their conditions. Use book drop!

Excellent customer service after I had a lack of communication from other companies. They even threw in a bonus of $5 on top of what they quoted to me for my textbooks!! Everything was easy and I was paid quickly. I’d definitely recommend Book Drop!!

If you want to sell your books quick, this is for you. If you have many new editions’ textbooks, please use this service. The reason I choose bookdrops is that I want to get rid of my books immediately. All I need to do is to drop all my books at once. Then, money in my bank account!

Better than things like the BYU library buyback program, but youll still get a lot less money back than if you sold the books manually.I needed to get rid of seven textbooks pretty quickly, but they only were willing to give me anything for two of the seven (and at about 20% of the price I paid for them, despite being in nearly perfect condition)--the other five theyd have to take as "donations".If youre short on time or just really want to clear out some textbooks you have, this is a great way to get rid of them, but if you want to get some money back, sell them directly or use another book selling service.Editing a few weeks later to lower my review down to two stars because Ive started getting intermittent texts asking me if I am still trying to sell books.

It was all quick and easy! Just be advised that they possibly don’t respond to inquiries on weekends, based on my experience. I could be wrong on that point, but just to be safe, don’t wait until the weekend you leave school or whatever to sell your textbooks. Overall it was a great experience!

Great experience! They communicated with me quickly and gave clear instructions so that I knew exactly what I had to do to make the process go smoothly. The person I texted and the website were very helpful with questions I had. While they weren’t able to buy as many textbooks of mine as I had hoped, they still took care of all of them so I didn’t have to keep storing them at my house or throw them away in the trash. Super easy, especially with a box so close to campus. The texting function made it really simple to get my books appraised and even though they couldnt take all of them, Im happier doing this than dealing with a marketplace site. And payment was very simple too. Low hassle, worth it.

Amazing experience. I posted pictures and sent it to bookdrop in which they replied in less than 24 hours to give me a quote. I had to drive about 20 minutes to a location to drop off my books. The directions for dropping off books is very easy, all you do is place each book into a plastic bag and record yourself dropping it into the box. After that they sent me a form for my payment, and I got my payment within 2 days into my venmo account. The customer service is so friendly, quick to respond and patient. I strongly recommend selling to bookdrop.

It was very convenient and quick, but I wish they were able to buy more of the books I was trying to sell. They could only take 2 out of 10. Still, they offered better prices than I found on other online sites.

I needed to get rid of some of my old textbooks so I decided to try BookDrop. It was easy to use and didn’t take long to receive my money. They only really bought less than 10 of my books, but I ended up taking 4 bags of books because they donate the ones that they don’t buy to Africa.

Easy to use and pretty fair in price. They’ll even match some competitors asking prices. A lot less complex then Amazon and eBay that now bar small sellers by selling their books through regulations and a bazillion verifications just to set up an account.

This was such an easy process! I sent them a picture of my textbooks, and they initially offered me a lower price than I found elsewhere. But after sending them a screenshot of the website with a higher offer, they matched their price. I saw a bookdrop bin across the street from where I used to live and decided to sell them four of my textbooks. I submitted pictures of my textbook as requested by text message and they responded within 24 hours by text message and gave me instructions on submitting my textbooks in the book drop bin. I chose to revive the funds by Venmo and was paid the day after I submitted the textbooks. It’s very convenient and easy since there was a bin close to where I lived. You can also donate any books in the bins too and that doesn’t require any contact, if I’m understanding that part correctly. It’s great to hear they donate books to other countries!

Never sold my textbooks before and I find BookDrop very convenient because I dont have to deal with the hassle of shipping my books through USPS. All I needed to do was take pictures of my books and drop off the ones they were willing to buy at the nearest BookDrop. They reply as quick as possible and even send your payment within a day. This was such an EASY way to recoup some of the cost for my old textbooks. The whole process was done over by sending texts/video and was FAST! It was very easy to sell my books using Bookdrop. I do wish I had been paid a bit more (I dropped off approximately 10 books in practically perfect condition that I purchased for over $1,000 and got $91), but I just didn’t want all those textbooks on my hands anymore, so I settled for what I could get. Was going to donate my books for free but got a little bit of money for them here. They were quick to respond and quick to pay. In addition, the books I didn’t get money for could be donated to the same place so I didn’t have to drive to two different places to get rid of my books. Def recommend if you are planning on just donating your books anyways!

Not going to lie, it feels a little weird at first using BookDrop because theres no business you walk into. Just a number to text. But it was such an easy way to sell my textbooks. Just had to text the number for quotes, bag up the books, take a video of me dropping them off, and fill out a payment form. It was so easy! I was a little disappointed at how little I got for the books, but I compared their estimates with a few other places and they were all in the same range, so I think they buy them from you at about the same price as anywhere else. I had a great experience selling with BookDrop. Their offer was low at first, but I found a website with another quote and BookDrop matched their quote. I received my payment very quickly which I was pleased with. The person I spoke with was also quick to respond to me.

They really do live up to the reviews. They cant buy all textbooks so dont expect money for everything that you have, im hoping that will improve as they grow as a company. The process is pretty simple to follow. I dropped off my book in the box and was paid within 2 hours to my Venmo account. Just make sure to take a video of you dropping off the book, and send it to the same number that gave you a quote, they dont really do a good job of informing you about this instruction. Excellent service, definitely will recommend to friends.

I visited the website and followed the prompts, sent pictures of my textbooks. Waited a month. Redoing the process now, not really expecting a response. My books are bona fide as well, so I’m not sure what the problem is.[Edit] they found me and responded.

AMAZING service! I’ve had my old textbooks from two semesters just sitting around and it was a huge relief to get rid of them and get paid for it! Totally beats waiting in a huge line to return them. It was super easy and convenient and fast, I got my payment after just a day or two! The staff was really kind and helpful in getting me the info I needed. Super easy and pay well! The whole process from first text to payment was about 3 days, keep in mind it was over a weekend. They matched a higher sell price for one of my books from another site and provided a high sell price for my other book. I was a little nervous before using BookDrop, but they made it so easy to trade in my books for cash. I’ve sold my textbooks before through different services, but none were as efficient or offered as positive an experience as BookDrop. These guys were responsive in their communication and got back to me quickly. They answered all my questions, were super friendly, and offered great (and realisticprices for my textbooks.
