Boroka Downs in Northern Grampians

The accomodation was very clean and comfortable with everything you could possibly need. The (mountainview is beautiful and the wildlife really contributes to a unique and beautiful stay.The local produce provided with the room was delicious and really showcased local business beautifully. The staff are friendly and prompt to respond if needed (Thanks Katrina)The no contact check in worked seamlessly.If you are intending to come kangaroo’s are everywhere drive with caution.Can’t wait to come back.

Couldnt recommend more. The unit is clean and is located in the perfect spot with views of the Grampians mountains. Most of all, the customer service is 10/10, Katrina and her parents assisted me with a proposal and made it a weekend that my partner and I will never forget. Beautiful place with wonderful views. We booked 4 nights at Boroka Downs. We planned to enjoy the Grampians and visit all the lookouts but as soon as we arrived to our house (house 3we realised that staying-in will be as enjoyable. The cleanliness of this place, the quality of all the materials used with every detail thought through were next level. Anything we forgot to bring with us was already provided in the house. We ended up dinning-in for the whole duration of our stay while enjoying parade of wildlife in the evening and birds bath rituals in the morning. There are 5 houses on the property, well separated from each other. Houses 5 to 2 are facing the mountains - great views and beautiful sunsets. House 1 is facing east so you get amazing sunrises. There is lots of wildlife on the property: Emus, Kangaroos and Deers and lots of species of birds. Highly recommended! PS. Check out night sky while you are there...its amazing.

My husband and I had the most amazing weekend at Baroka Downs. I cannot recommend this lovely accommodation enough. It is the perfect place for a romantic holiday for couples. The accommodation is impeccable in terms of cleanliness and the amenities are great. Furthermore the privacy is perfect for a romantic getaway. The view is a real treat and the kangaroos that pop by make this a very special destination.

It is a very nice camping spot. But I do resent flat rates where one person in a moterhome, pays the same as a large family with dogs.

This place is a very peaceful place to stay the rooms and views are brilliant. The owners are some of the nicest helpful people we have dealt with. They will do what ever they can to make your stay memorable. You are also surrounded by the beautiful national Grampians national park.

Secluded, private and fabulous. Hosts are marvellous and knowledgeable about local walks and hikes. Gluten allergy managed with a wealth of gluten free products. Spa under the starlit sky a special treat after a long hike. Would recommend +++ and go again.

We stayed at this serene property on our first anniversary a couple of weeks ago. It was the most amazing experience weve ever had. Stephanie and Bob are a really amazing and inspiring couple. Boroka Downs is a huge 76 acre property with 6 houses not including their own residence. We stayed at the #5. The views were breathtaking. When arrived there, we were a bit apprehensive at first. However, dont let the first look deceive you. We mingled with Roos and watched the Milkyway at night, while barbequing. The place was equipped with everything one would possibly need. I really mean everything!! The appliances were all of very high quality. The house itself was very well designed an decorated. Since it was our anniversary, Id requested for a flower bouquet upon arrival, and they didnt disappoint. The bouquet was huge and was made up of rare and very fragrant flowers that we never see at the florists in the city. Bob gave us a nice tour of the house and showed us places to visit near by. We didnt bother going anywhere as we loved spending time there so much. We visited their garden, which was full of herbs, vegetables, fruits and berries. Wed love to stay there again.

This is the second time my wife and I have stayed at Boroka Downs, and like last time we have loved our long weekend away. The feeling of isolation under the mountains of the Grampians, with the Kangaroos and other wildlife, and the Milky Way at night, provides a truly relaxing experience. The accommodation is perfectly supplied and caters for the hassle free holiday. Whether relaxing by the open fire or in the spa, you will not go wanting for creature comforts. The kitchen is stocked with the essentials, including free range eggs from their own chickens. Close to Halls Gap and the Grampians gives you the perfect position of seclusion while maintaining convenient access to one of the best Victorian National Parks. Bob, Stephanie and Barbara are perfect hosts and provide a great escape for anyone looking for a relaxing holiday.

Fantastic place to enjoy for a weekend. Private and quiet, surrounded by wildlife (kangaroos, birds and deer). Clean, perfectly equipped and excellent staff! Highly recommend it.

Little kangaroe paradise near the beautiful Grampians. Excellent service and lots to do if you like hiking for a few days. What a great view from the terrace. All you might need and more is in the house. Didnt go out for dinner as our daily kangaroo gang would just hop by while we were eating.

Definitely worth that little bit extra for a whole lot of extra comfort and enjoyment. A lot of attention to detail.

We had two nights at Boroka Downs and we couldnt have been happier. The residence is wonderful - very tastefully decorated and extremely well fitted out and provisioned with everything you could possibly want. The views across to Halls Gap were absolutely stunning. Went to sleep to the sounds of the open fire and awoke to mountain views and wallabies and emus passing by. Bob and Stephanie are warm and pleasant hosts. We cant recommend Boroka Downs highly enough. One of the best places we have ever stayed. Denise and Scott MacGregor
