I had a cat that I thought needed to be spayed found out that she was already done. But they gave me and my s/o the ring around on pricing and cut my cats belly on the shave to find the tattoo

I was not happy with how they treated me and my dog. I felt like the vet was pushy and tried to get me hooked into things we didnt need.I went here cause my vet was booked out. When I went back to Brookside, they found the problem right away. No expensive test or x-rays were needed.Perhaps Borett dont understand animals after all. Or dont care about your pocket book, only theirs.

I really liked this place when I brought my animals in, but lately they arent answering the phone. Ive left messages requesting an appointment and never hear back. I had to find a different vet because I cant get through to this one.

We had a scheduling mishap and despite that they where able to still see my dog. For every thing they did, they ensured to walk me through each step and explain what they where looking and what they where doing it for. Highly recommend!

We are "long time" dog owners and have taken our dogs to a facility in Layton. We have recently moved further North and my daughter got a new puppy. Based on location, and a referral from a friend, we decided to take the puppy to Borrett Animal Hospital. We are not pleased, at all, with the service received at the front desk. On 2 out of 3 visits, we waited for over an hour in our car wondering if we had been forgotten. There was not once a call letting us know that they were behind and had not forgotten us. On our 3rd visit, when we asked if we had been forgotten, the employee told my daughter they were doing the best they could and it was an animal hospital and she would just need to be patient. Needless to say, we will not be bringing the puppy back to this office.

I just got a new puppy and was referred to this clinic. My first appointment I waited over an hour and 15 minutes. I was patient, things happen. My third appointment I waited almost an hour after being told, " Let us get you checked in and someone will be right out to grab you." After waiting an hour, I called to get my vaccine records emailed to me and they told me yes. I have still not received those and it has been 2 days. I was basically told by the front desk employee that I need to have patience because there are emergencies. This is all after my appointment was scheduled completely wrong. They scheduled me for the wrong day and time. When I mentioned that this was not the day that we had scheduled, there was zero accountability on their part. They didnt care. I do have to say that Dr. Meyerhoffer was always extremely kind and loving towards my puppy, which I appreciated. However, the extremely unprofessional and incompetence of the front desk has made it so that I will not be returning and would never recommend this clinic. I am hoping that I can get my pets record at some point so that I can go to a new place.

Dr Meyerhoffer was very compassionate and helpful when she had to come to our place to put down our horse. She talked with us and explained what was going to happen and talked us through it. She also was very professional and provided a very personal service to explain where our horse was at in his illness and the need to ease his suffering. We will continue to use her for our veterinarian needs for this reason.

I called in an emergency for one of my goats, he was bloated, couldnt breath or walk. I had already called two other vets they didnt work with goats so they referred me to Borret Animal hospital, when I called they said that they couldnt see him for another two weeks, I flat out said it was an emergency and that was the response, so they referred me to another vet that didnt even work with anything other than Horses. Not impressed with the way that they respond to emergencys.

When my dog got hurt they were so kind and helpful. The staff were calm and told me what was going to happen. They came back to inform me of any changes and treatment options. I am so thankful they were the ones to help!

Best vet experience of my life! We will go here from now on and will recommend to everyone I know!Treated my kitty like family and when I was worried about cost they understood and never tried to make me feel guilty. They helped me as much as they could with cost. VERY impressed!

They are awesome! We had an emergency and they were the only place that could get us in. Our poor boy was in pain and I cannot imagine having to wait until the next day to get him in. They made room and took excellent care of our dog. He fell asleep on the ride home because he was no longer hurting! We will now be using them for all of our future needs. Oh yeah and on top of it all they were extremely fair on what they charge!

They were all very kind and responsive when my horse started to colic. Thanks to Dr.Borretts experience and skill my horse has recovered completely. I trust her advice and I am grateful for the way she cared for my horse and listened as i described what was going on. Thank you to everyone at the clinic!

DO NOT TAKE BUNNYS OR RABBITS HERE!Took the bun of my life in on thursday, called her later that day with a few concerns. She told me to call her in the morning but when I woke up my bun was dead. I love my baby bun Im devistated that she is gone. She was perfectly happy before we took her in to get spayed. They just dont know what theyre doing. And couldnt care less.

These are good people who really care about your furry family member. They took amazing care of our dog making her comfortable until her cancer took over and we had to put her down. They were understanding and sensitive to our needs during the entire emotional process.

We love Borrett Animal Hospital. Kathy is amazing even our dogs love her! Everyone working there are so friendly and kind. My son lives in St George but still drives up here with his dogs so Kathy can treat them.

I want to thank Dr Meyerhoffer for everything she did for my sweet girl. After everything my little pup had already been through I appreciate the extra Dr Meyerhoffer did. My daughter has taken her cats here long before we moved here. The prices are set at an amount that we could afford and not put to sleep our animals. This month she had her old cat put to sleep and the sympathy was so overwhelming; we werent alone in our grief.

I was treated really good with everyone that help me an they explain everything that I had to do with my potbelly pig after my potbelly pig had surgery. Burrett Animal Hospital is a good place to take your pets to because they are upfront with everything they have to do to your pet an everyone is really nice to you. I just want to say thanks to everyone that help me with my potbelly pig.

Dr. Kathy Borrett and her team are Amazing! Theyre kind, compassionate and dedicated to helping the animals. Our cat needed emergency surgery, and Kathy and her staff stayed until late in the evening to make sure that Boo (the catwas able to get the amputation surgery she needed, and that she was doing well before they left the Hospital. Dr. Meyerhoffer was the first to assess our cats injuries and she was incredible! She was sympathetic, knowledgeable, and has a heart of gold! I trusted her advice and judgement, and knew that Boo was in good hands. The surgery was a great success and our cat is on the mend thanks to this Awesome Team! Borrett Animal Hospital is very affordable which once again leads back to their love and dedication to the animals that they treat and care for. I truly cant express how pleased I am with my experience with Borrett Animal Hospital today!My cat had gotten very sick VERY fast with a large abscess on her neck. She was lethargic and not eating well, so of course I needed her seen somewhere as soon as possible. I called around to different vets in the area, and had no luck getting an appointment anywhere. I called up Borrett, and was informed that their veterinarians were booked for the day (I was trying to find a same-day appointment, so that wasnt surprising). However, the receptionist asked me to explain my cats situation, and you could tell she was genuinely sympathetic and concerned. She took the time to advocate for us, and spoke to the veterinarians personally. The staff all worked together to squeeze my cat in the same day! They were incredibly compassionate during the entire ordeal. My cat ended up needing surgery, and I was nervous as to how much this would cost--as we all know vet bills can be very expensive. I was pleasantly surprised at how reasonably priced all of her care was. In the past Ive dealt with vets that seem to upcharge for any and all procedures they perform, but that wasnt at all the case here. I feel that this facility is truly in the habit of making sure your pet is taken care of, and not just trying to make a profit. My cat finished up her surgery and is doing better already.Ultimately I could not have asked for a better experience from start to finish. I only plan on using Borretts in the future. This is the best service Ive received from a vet! Thank you all SO much! My cat Bellatrix thanks you, too!!

AMAZING animal hospital! I took my cat here to have a portion of his tail amputated after an injury. Another vet quoted me $1,300 for the surgery and this hospital charged me less than $300. The Dr. was so gentle with my cat, Moose. She was kind and very patient. I will continue to bring my animals here.

Everyone here is friendly, knowledgeable, and they truly care about people and,the animals. My dog is old, and her health has been declining. Dr. Meyerhoffer actually got tears in her eyes when she was giving us the prognosis. It touched me that she hasnt been hardened by what they deal with so often. Dr. Borrett has been our go to vet for years,especially after a bad experience with another vet that was "closer" to our home. We sure wont make that mistake again!

We had our two little dogs in for their teeth cleaning and some vaccinations. The staff and veterinarian were vey informative about what to expect with the teeth cleaning procedure. They were very gentle and caring and did a fantastic job making our puppies feel comfortable and calm.

I switched to Kathy Borrett over a year ago after having some bad experiences with an animal hospital. It was the best decision I could have made. Dr Borrett and her staff are wonderful and love my dogs. One of my dogs had to have an emergent surgery for a bowel blockage and I was so concerned about the cost. Dr Borrett was 1/3 the cost of my prior vet. Amazing. I would recommend this clinic any day.

Kathy is an amazing, and special vet. She has cared for many of our families animals, and had helped them live long, and happy productive lives.The one thing I have always loved a out kathy is she very blunt, and her integrity is amazing. Dr. Kathy was thorough and caring. She is good at communicating what issues my dog was dealing with and answering questions I had. Prices were fair and charges were clear. Her staff is friendly and even let me drop off my dog early so I could make it to work on time.

Dr. Borrett is a wonderful Vet. Very easy to talk to and is very compassionate. I have already referred 2 people to her. She has been excellent. I wont go anywhere else.

Borrett Animal Hospital is amazing! Cathy is so caring and loves animals. Shes a professional and I trust her judgement about my animals completely. Shes given me advice from our cows, and dog to even a chicken that I took to her several years ago. She said it was the first time shed seen a chicken, but she knew exactly what was wrong and told me how to treat her. Her prices are cheaper than other places and she goes above and beyond to take care of our family pets.

Ive been to many vets that take you in and out, and dont bother to show a lot of affection or concern towards your pet. This location was the complete opposite. Our dog was given a comprehensive check-up where both he and ourselves were given the service weve always been looking for. You can tell that they care about the animals, and their owners. Well be back!

Our dog had severe bladder stones. I was trying to find a less-expensive vet to perform the surgery. When i called around to 3 different counties for estimates, she was the cheapest by far, even 1/4 what some others were charging. She performed the surgery and took great care of our dog. We love her and recommend her to anyone with animals who wants a good vet.

We absolutely love Dr Borrett!! Our dog had to stay the night and was scared from being away from us. Dr Borrett put a night light and a radio to help out little guy feel comfortable. They are very affordable and the staff is amazing. We felt like we could ask Dr Borrett questions and she answered all our questions and made us feel better. She genuinely care for animals and I would recommend her to anyone with a pet.

Dr Kathy isn’t as qualified as other vets. Our girl was bitten by a wasp may 11. She had a growth on her side a couple days later the size of half of a golf ball and Kathy said “she took samples of the growth” and it’s not cancer. She said it was a hematoma and to give our dog baby aspirin. (I’m not 100% sure she really took samples as our dog didn’t have any bruising on the lump and we never actually saw the paper work of the results, but we definitely PAID for it!!!)We followed her advice and ONE WEEK later the growth was now the size of a softball. We wanted to get our girl in to see Kathy but she told us she was 10 days out. (OUR DOG WAS AN EXISTING CASE, AN EMERGENCY SHE SHOULD HAVE MADE TIME!4 days after we asked we reached again and said she really needs to be seen. At that point Kathy informed us that she is NOT qualified to help us. We needed to take our dog elsewhere. She then recommended the most wonderful vet we’ve ever met. Dr.Terry at westvet. Unfortunately she recommended him TO LATE. He was amazing and loved our dog and wanted to help her as much as he could. He took blood (where we saw bruising from him taking blood and paper workand even did an ultra sound to investigate further. One week later was the worst week of our lives. The growth is now the size of a cantaloupe. He had the results from the blood work and informed my mom that is was MAST CELL CANCER. The main cause you ask? WASP BITE!!!!!!!!!!! Beware of wasps and give your baby Benadryl should it ever happen to you!! DO NOT TAKE YOUR DOG TO KATHY. ASPRIN MAKES CANCER SPREAD 10X FASTER AND OUR DOG COULD BE ALIVE HAD SHE NOT MISDIAGNOSED!!!!!!! The day we found out she had cancer she was in Kathy’s office and miserable and her vet tech had the nerve to call our dog and my mom drama queens. This place disgusts me. The carelessness and belittling and cost isn’t worth it. Go to north Ogden animal hospital or west vet. Our dog was put down and is in heaven now. She was lucky enough to be in the comfort of our family & Dr.Terry.

They always take great care of our dog here. They have also given good advice over the phone when I wasnt sure if I needed to bring my dog. They really care about your pets and want to help you keep them healthy.

While Dr. Borrett is professional, her staff is sorely lacking in professionalism and tact. Her receptionist is extremely rude and obviously cannot handle her job. Her excuse for being rude when confronted is that she is busy and has other clients she has to work with. Obviously she is not well suited for her position. My suggestion is that Dr. Borrett hire proficient, competent individuals that can multi-task and keep their head cool at the same time.

One of the best places I have ever taken my animals to. The vet has many years of experience, and genuinely cares about the health and well-being of the fur babies she treats at the clinic.

I have went to Dr Borrett for years. I truly believe she is the most amazing, knowledgeable, caring veterinarian I have ever known. I moved from Roy to Draper about three years ago. I still take my pets to Dr Kathy. The trip is worth it. I trust her and know she will give my pets the best care possible. Thanks Dr Kathy and staff. I truly appreciate all of you. I had a great experience taking my older dog Ebony to Borrett Animal Hospital. The environment is very clean and the staff is very welcoming. Ebony received great care and lots of attention. The staff was very patient in answering all of my questions. I love this place!

Dr Borrett is the most caring vet I have ever met. She is comforting, busts her butt to do everything she can for your kid (fur kidand just went above and beyond in every instance that I have had to take an animal to her. Her prices are insanely reasonable. Her staff is courteous and caring. She is amazing and I am so glad I was referred to her. Wait times are great and when you are in there with her you dont feel rushed, you can ask her anything and I always feel empowered when I leave to do the best I can for my pet. She is AMAZING!
