Wasnt good at all bake beans, ribs, chicken, potatoe salad none of it was good.

New find. Great sandwich.Will definitely eat there again.

So I ordered thru uber eats or something like that and let me tell you, delicious is an understatement. This food was so good I was ready to slap somebody. Thank you, I will definitely be back.

Listen everybody doesnt have the same taste in BBQ and I get that but what we were delivered is just a BIG NOOOOO!! I hate leaving this review but this is what I do. The ribs were "ok" Lets start with that. Now whoever made the sides.. U are dead wrong and our ancestors are not pleased with U! The Mac n chz was TRASH pure TRASH and the Yams honest 2 God wouldve maybe been decent if it didnt contain so much Nutmeg! Like WTH was up with all that?? Maybe it was an accident with the Nutmeg-Lord I hope so. We tried it once and that my friends was enough! Ill stick to the Mustard Seed for my ribs. OAN, theres a chance that we didnt have the best experience since maybe it was in the evening but all customers should receive fresh food. **The cornbread muffin was the best item along with the BBQ sauce.Response: Yes I do hate leaving a bad review but also as I stated this is what I do. I owe it to other consumers 2 be totally honest and I stand by this review. You seen the pix and obviously read this review but didnt offer 2 make it right - Thats a problem within itself.You be blessed as well.

Me and my fiancé came on an empty stomach with high expectations and while the brisket was the fattest most tender meat I’ve ever had, our stomachs about 15 minutes later were tore up! 😫 We figured it was because we waited so long to eat, who knows. Anyways we rewarmed our leftovers the next day only to discover an entire layer of grease/oil underneath the meat. We were so sad we had to throw it away because it was just too much oil in the food. If the amount of oil in your food was way less, I’d go far to say it was the best brisket I’ve ever had, everything was seasoned to perfection.

Was a first time visitor on yesterday and purchased the 2 for $38 meal. Couldnt decide on the side orders and owner provided some candied yams as a compliment. Everything was good and kudos 👏 to the owner. I will be back.

I’ve eaten at all of the big name bbq places in Atlanta but Boucanes is the best. The standout is the ribs but the pulled pork is also excellent. Regarding side dishes everything is good but they make the best yams I’ve ever had. They have a small outdoor dining area/patio but there isn’t a restroom that I could see so I wouldn’t eat here, it’s pretty much just for take out.

Truly a gem in East Point. Best BBQ around. You will NOT be disappointed. Boucanes is soon to be a household name!

The ribs were to die for, fell right off the bone. The yams, mac, potato salad and coleslaw were sooo good too! So much flavor and spice goodness. Not like someone mentioned in a review below me saying it had no flavor and spice. Definitely recommend going here!!

My Boyfriend read the first reviews and said let’s try it. The food had no flavor it wasn’t worth what we paid for. They don’t even include cornbread it a side that you have to pay for. Don’t go there the BBQ sauce wasn’t even good.

This is my new go-to spot for barbecue!!!! The brisket is my ABSOLUTE FAVORITE!!!!!! I always have the mac and cheese and potato salad as sides which are tasty as well. Stopped by earlier today around lunch time but was told the brisket wouldnt be ready until 3pm. There was no way I was not going to get my brisket today so I told the owner I would wait on ordering and just order through Uber Eats at 3 pm. Trust and believe I was NOT disappointed!!!! Everything was so good. I had the 2 meat plate with brisket and pulled pork, mac and cheese, and potato salad. I will definitely be back!!! So glad I found this spot, the owner is really nice and provided awesome service. Try this spot!!! You will not be disappointed!!!

I love the BBQ here, always delicious and always served with a smile! This friendly family run business has a cute seating area on the side and its great to take home as well. Quality BBQ that is flavorful with or without sauce, the mark of real skill, this little business is so much better than the "big names" in town. Try it, you will not be disappointed!

The food is perfectly seasoned! I am a vegetarian and really appreciated the fact that there was no meat in the collard greens! My husband raved about the pulled pork and ribs being fall-off-the bone tender! The prices were definitely fair, the customer service was great, and the food was given within minutes! I highly recommend this hidden gem in East Point, Ga!

Had a craving for bbq today. So I decided to place an order through Uber Eats. In the past I have not had a good track record ordering from other bbq spots on the app. But the reviews were good and legitimate, so i gave them a shot. So Glad I Did!! Ordered the Full Rack Combo. Ribs were delicious. I dont eat bbq sauce , so when I tell you the ribs were flavorful with just the rub. I got potato salad, Mac and Cheese, baked beans. All on point. I hate sweet sides, so it was very refreshing to finally be able to enjoy both ky sides and meat. Yes I am known to be a bit picky. But i have ZERO gripes. One favor though.. would you consider adding the smoked wings to the delivery menu?

Food is delicious. The people are awesome!! Can’t beat it. Everything from the meats to the sides to the desserts are fantastic. You can’t go wrong!!

I ordered rib tips and I got like boneless meat so no gristle but I guess thats just how they do it from the reviews. Seems like the brisket would be amazing cuz thats what this seemed like.

Stopped by on a whim hoping to move into the neighborhood. Place was empty, 2:30 ish. Service was great, fast, and friendly. Three of us shared wings, 1/2 rack of ribs, Mac and cheese, potato salad, greens, baked beans. All were excellent! The food quickly arrived and the only sounds to be heard were the moans of food pleasure for the next 10 minutes.Mac and cheese had a good homemade texture and flavor, not the overly creamy fake cheese Mac and cheese so many of us are familiar with. I really liked the greens slightly vinegar not overly salty flavor. I am not a fan of sweet baked beans, but something about these worked well for me. I liked the pickle, mustard flavor of potatoes salad. Of course the meat. Both meats were fall off the bone perfection! I hope to return, and will definitely recommend!

If I could give this place no stars I would this fool was horrible I don’t know why this place has so many good reviews because this place is not good at all ate here once around 1:30 maybe and will never again I order rib tips and it was only a whole cut up pieces of ribs not rib tips the greens was nasty the seasoning of this food was absolutely awful 😑 a waste of money highly disappointed I only went to this place because it’s in my neighborhood and the reviews was Great but someone is lying a very dissatisfied customer !! I had to throw my food out and go to McDonald’s which was much more satisfying 🤦🏽‍♀️

I was VERY impressed with this place! I was reluctant to try them out, but my friend brought me some the other day and I was mad at myself for not going there sooner! Their chicken wings are delicious!

Arrived at closing but was served quickly. Id heard my coworker speaking highly of this restaurant. Its in my neighborhood but Id never tried it. Everything was great! I ordered a slab of ribs and an order of brisket...collard greens, baked beans. I wanted mac and cheese but they were already out of it. Brisket had LOTS of fat, but otherwise tender and tasty! Ample portion size for money spent. I will definitely visit again!

Great food! The meat was fall off the bone tender! I had the rib tips and quarter leg with mac and cheese, candied yams and cornbread. Everything was tasty and I got my food super quick. Will definitely return!

I go by every bbq place I can find to try their ribs and Boucanes had some amazing fall off the bone smokey and not too seasoned ribs. I love st Louis ribs but I wish they kept the tips on. If you want the tips they sell those as well. Oh and their desserts were top notch. I will definitely be back anytime Im out that way!

It started with the Customer Service … the young lady that answered the phone .. wonderful! When the foods got here College Park Police Dispatch .. it smelled good look good and taste delicious!!! I wish I could give 10 stars! Falling off the bone 🦴 and collard greens 🥬 OMG

Friendly and quick service. Ordered the chicken and brisket to go, with sides of potato salad and baked beans. All delicious. Both the sauce and bakes beans are the perfect balance of savory and sweet, leaning towards the savory. Definitely recommended.

So I got my dad some bbq from this new spot for his birthday and he’s sooooooo picky about his grilled meats so I was nervous. We pulled up and saw like 2 people waiting but we already called ours in so cool and it was ready.My dad ate these ribs with no sauce, meat falling off the bone and everything! He was so happy check them out ! You know if you’re into that sort of thing...I’m vegan lol

Listen I went grocery shopping at Wayfield and came back home hungry. I didnt feel like cooking. I didnt have to because my daughter had a plate of barbecue smelling good that Uber Eats had just delivered.Let me be clear this is real pit barbecue. It has the smoke. You can smell it and taste it. This is essential because other spots dont do smoke barbecue.Listen this picture doesnt do the plate justice. Seriously there is a good deal of meat on this plate under there. The plate had Pulled Pork, Beef Brisket, Macaroni and Cheese and Collard Greens.Pulled Pork- Very seasoned and tender. Not dry or old meat that been sitting aroundBeef Brisket- The star ***** on the plate. Whew this brisket was moist, juicy, tender but most of all had the best seasoning and smoke with just the right amount of fat. Omg!!!! This is a hit.Collard Greens- Lots of flavor both sweet and vinegar. It doesnt lack seasoning but needed to be cooked a bit more. Its hard to get greens tender this time of year. I like mine not mushy but I already know some folks will complain about that.Macaroni and Cheese- My least favorite. Didnt have much cheese. Guess it was just a miss in that but I will try it again at a later date.Barbecue Sauce- The other star ***** of the plate. First if all thank you for giving us a whole cup. Other barbecue spots in Hapeville and College Park (no namesgive you tiny thumbnail cups like you taking communion or a pack like you get soy sauce. This sauce is bumping. I wish I could replicate it. It is perfectly sweet, smoky and a dash of savory. You can drink it literally.All in all I had a lot to say but this spot deserves some exposure. East Point needed this particular business as Im very glad to see you in my community band neighborhood and hope you are here to stay.

I ordered rib tips, mac n cheese, collard greens, and banana pudding. I spent about $10.00. I had a craving for rib tops and it did not disappoint. Meat was tender and the sauce was good. EVERYTHING WAS GREAT. I will be back.

It was okay. I went kinda late, they were closing soon. The BBQ sauce was very good. The potato salad was a bit mashed and tangy for me. The baked beans were way too sweet for me and the Mac n chz was just okay. Like I said tho, it was the end of the day and I understand how getting the bottom of the barrel can change the taste. I WILL try them again, earlier this time. Hopefully theyll have wings and greens (they were out of both by then)

Great customer service, with a smile. Food: ribs were small. They could use some seasoning to kick them up a notch. The homemade Mac n cheese was delicious. The BBQ sauce on the side was a little bitter. The baked beans were not sweet beans. The brisket was okay. I really would like for this business to succeed so I may go back.

The bbq is good and so are the sides. Generous portions and super friendly staff. I gave 4 stars because the wings were flavorful but they were way too soft, almost mushy. Other than that, I love the food.

This unassuming BBQ joint is the reason you never judge a book by its cover. All the staff are very friendly! We had the brisket, pulled pork, pulled chicken, collards, mac & cheese and potato salad. The brisket and pork both were delicious and had a unique smoke flavor that I couldnt quite pick out. The chicken was amazing! The sides are very tasty and the 6oz helpingings were just right for us. If you are in East Point and looking for some good BBQ be sure to check this place out.

Stopped by on Wednesday for lunch for the first time this week and must say I am now a repeat customer! I tried the 4 meat plate with 3 sides and everything was delicious!!! The ribs and chicken were the most juicy I every had. The sides were amazing and the sauce!!! A1. Customer service was on point and the food, thinking about going back today!!!! Glad to have a great bbq place in the neighborhood!!!

Pulled pork sandwich had just enough sauce, meat juicy and tender. The side of cole slaw was a nice size, veggies crisp and not swimming in mayo. This was my first visit. Nice and hot. This was my late lunch meal. I was going back for dinner but they are closed. Not happy they won’t open back til Wednesday. Good job Boucanes!

First of all, great customer service. Probably even the best in East point... Anyways, I don’t know what the other reviews are saying but the experience I had with them was very good. Everything was on point. My 2 y/o daughter is picky about food & she LOVES their Mac n cheese. (I do too...better than pit boss. And the corn bread.. YUM! Not dry at all, just added some honey and it was perfect for me. I enjoyed every bite. Only criticism I have is that I didn’t know the sides would be so small with the 4 meat platter, but at the same time I should’ve asked. All in all the food was YUMMY, will be back for more 😍

We noticed it going to the Ace one day. Tried it later in the week. It was excellent. The sauce is absolutely homemade and delicious. We got it on the side. My baby back ribs were so tender and meaty. The brisket was smoked to a tasty perfection. The chicken was fall off the bone great. The Mac n cheese is actually Mac n cheese (unlike the kraft like substance I have found at another local joint). The greens had fresh jalapeños in them for a nice kick. The baked beans were exactly what I wanted from a BBQ joint. The best parts were the amazing customer service, the sensitivity to my familys ridiculous allergies and dietary restrictions, and the fact they use no MSG. We hope to be repeat customers.

I got The chicken plate with two sides but I dont get to eat out very often so I knew I had to get more side so I got mac and cheese potato salad collard greens and a muffin with some yams also and everything was absolutely fantastic! First off the customer service is awesome. I had the two meet meal with rib tips and chicken macaroni and cheese and baked beans with a side of greens and cornbread muffin. Whoever is chopping the rib tips is doing a very bad job because I got mostly bones and I dont know where the season was for the meat and the sauce it is just too runny I dont even know how they can call it barbecue sauce maybe BBQ juice would be a better name for it? Also, I couldnt find the cheese in the mac and cheese so disappointing. The baked beans were okay my corn muffin crumbled. The greens were the best thing that I had in my meal. But I will give them a second chance I dont know when but I will.

In town this weekend for my bday staying in the Area at a local Arbnb.. Love to eat local when I’m on a trip...The food Pulled Pork was delicious i didn’t order my sauce on the side so the bbq sauce is very tasty a very zesty sauce...1I asked for the Pull Pork sandwich they just gave me 2 half pieces of bread on the side of the BBQ..Some sandwich..The baked beans were good. They were cold though...The Mac & cheese had a good flavor o felt, However others that were with me didn’t enjoy it as much...Food was fast and service was friendly.. I wud def eat there again.. First time going last week and was very disappointed. I ordered the smoke wings and the two meats which were barbecue ribs and pulled pork. The smoke wings did not look like they were smoked they actually like they were boiled wings that have been put on the grill afterwards I didnt even attempt to eat them. the pool barbecue and ribs lack flavor and taste like they had also been pre-boiled then put on the grill for a char.

We enjoyed our meal! We ordered a 10pc smoked wing, and a half rack of ribs dinner which comes with 2 sides. For our sides we got mac n cheese and greens.We loved the greens and bbq sauce. The ribs were good but were weirdly a little dry. Lots of meat on them but when I took a bite, the meat got stuck in my throat. The flavor was good and the sauce was delicious, I just took smaller bites moving forward. The greens were spicy and flavorful! Loved them.We also enjoyed the wings, next time I will get extra bbq sauce to put on the wings. They dont come with sauce and the flavor lacked a little. With the sauce they were perfect. I will be getting more.Okay, finally, I took off a star because the regular size sides is pretty small. That being said, the value for a meal is pretty good. Ive had bbq 3 weeks in a row and this was the least expensive for the actual meat. When we buy the meals, the sides are deeply discounted as part of the meal so its not too big of a deal that its a small amount, but in hindsight, I will definitely want more greens next time.The mac was okay. Flavorful but the texture wasnt my style. I prefer creamier mac n cheese, theirs is more grainy.We will definitely continue to order from this business though!

Great pork. Great smoked chicken. Great customer service. Killer greens but they come with some spice which was kind of nice. We killed the mac and cheese so quick. Waiting for them to open today so I can get more.

I live off of Washington Rd and I hate the limited food choices we do have. Ive been anticipating on trying Boucanes BBQ ever since I noticed that they brought the place. As I was driving home one day I noticed that they were open for business so I quickly made a U turn and decided Ill try a few things off their menu! I got a half of pound of brisket and 5 smoked wings. The food tasted so bland! It had no seasoning on it at all! The brisket was dry and tough! The wings were dry, tough and still slightly pink on the inside. Customer service was great though. I gave 1 star because this was the worst bbq Ive ever tasted!

Had a very good experience with Boucanes meal! Generous meat portion, delicious bbq sauce and overall great flavors going on! Great job! Few things that I would say to improve is on the sauce of the coleslaw, offer French fries or tots, and work a little bit more on the visual of the restaurant.
