The store personel were awesome. However the xfinity person I spoke to on phone to move my service told me the lot we moved to was unserviceble so we went with dish. Now they also charged us for early termination their fault but we paid. Come to find out the lot has service.

Inorder to get a technician to my house I had to pay next months bill. I pay insurance and dont know why this is required. The technician said the cost would be refunded $20 a month. I pay $270/month. So I will do without the internet for now.
Yes, yes I know its COMCAST.... Yet the nice folks here knew what they were doing, and expedited my appointment as fast as they could, for me to pick up equipment needed to self-install and self-activate my Xfinity internet service. (My choice. BTW my install/activation went very smoothly.)Yes, they were running late and could not honor my appointment time. So I had to wait 1/2 hour for them to get to me, as they were backed up with a waiting line. Hence the 4 stars. With COMCAST/Xfinity, this is pretty much the best you can expect.
The place was clean and I was greeted nicely.
Needed to upgrade to next generation box. Terrific service. Wasnt there more than 5 minutes...walked out with the equipment that solved my problem, and at no cost.
Not enough staff. Had followed directions foe four appointments. Checked in as requested on appointment directions but was not taken after 40 + minutes 3 times. . We are now waiting 30 minutes after our appointment. About 15 or more customers have come and gone none of which had appointments. Not good.

Went with my friend to Xfinity store in OC,MD. She was trying to change her package and get a lower price! The Customer Service Rep. Could do Nothing for her at the store level. 🙄 She must go back to 📞 calling and getting No Satisfaction there! Very Frustrating.
It is absolutely impossible to speak with an individual at Comcast/Xfinity and the Chat Support system is useless. I have been with Comcast for over 20-years but I give-up on their lack of concern about their customers. Hello Verizon!!
I have been a loyal customer of Comcast for years and have had very little issues until now. I have recently moved and I completed the online Xfinity move requirements and they have my new address and all info needed to start my service. I was given an email with a service start date of September 8. It is now days later and all I need is my internet service connected but its a horror show just to get a person I was hung up on three times and transferred to numerous departments through the chat room situation. I just cannot believe how hard this is and time consuming just to get my services back. I will be dropping the cable service and switching to internet only. The only real help I got through the entire experience was a billing change which took 2 minutes. I sit here waiting for a call that may never come and no internet. WOW

Practically impossible to reach a human being to speak with. My question is on behalf of my 88 year old mother who is a customer, but I cannot get through the automated system nor the online chat because it only recognizes certain situations.
Long long wait and they refused to handle billing issues. Said I had to call 800 number...
I am VERY disappointed in their customer service. They offer a very attractive internet/tv service, but beware if you need anything. 6 months as a customer, everytime I call or have a tech out to resolve a problem has been a total nightmare. Problems are never resolved. I either had to find out how to fix it myself or just deal with the issue. And the deal they offered me on the sales call and what they gave me are two different things. I cant even use the phone service I am paying for. Had to get my own landline service for phone. I Regret ever making the switch from my other provider.

Ask them to try and fix my phone, cant use a lot of my apps but they couldnt fix it. It keeps saying that Yahoo has stopped working. But they did try for a good while to try and fix it. No success!!!

The woman I dealt with was not very helpful and had an attitude. Told me thatneither my wife or I could make any changes on our account. WHAT?
In person experience was terrific. Calling and trying to get a human was a nightmare. Much better to go to office unless you have a cookie cutter question for the robot.

Tech number 1523 was amazing. We had our first minor issue and Kellen P. was sent out. VERY professional, VERY polite, and took the time to explain every detail. Within 15 minutes, he made necessary repairs, and everything worked great. If every employee was like this, the world of cable and internet would be a better place. Very appreciative of his service and professionalism.
The store was clean, all agents in masks, behind safety panels, floor marked for social distancing, containers of disinfectant wipes and paper towells everywhere.
The mixture of long wait times, phone calls that disconnect and lack of promised returned calls make this the worst customer service I have experienced

Just tried to get our account set up for my families beach condo, wow what an experience. It took two different lady’s combined to help me. For both of them to help me it took a total of 1 hour and 15 minutes. How the manager was able to watch this all happen and not just eventually step on for them blows my mind. Clearly the two young ladies needed assistance. The ladies themselves were nice but unfortunately struggled with the setup. But for the manager to stand there and take on more customers and see me still standing there for 1 hour and 15 minutes. Unacceptable.
A month ago, early February, I wouldve given it "1 star" because I waited in line for 15 minutes with 7 people ahead of me, and didnt move an inch! I left! But last week, possibly because of the virus, walked in and found no one! I returned a small piece of their equipment and was on my way.
The employees here are extremely helpful. They answered every question I had fully and are always more than happy to help with even the simplest of things. Ive been here multiple times and every experience has always been the same no matter who helps.
Returned a defective HD box mid morning on a Wednesday in August. Zero wait time and the replacement was done in a few minutes by a friendly agent.
After 5 h oi urs on the phone with technical support, finally.told to trade in modem. Took to OC,MD service centerI swear, those people are never nice. They barely look at you. Focus on the computer screen and then just hand you your stuff
Multiple attempts were made via the “800” numbers to comcast to set up a new account for a vacation home in ocean city md. I honestly don’t know how a company like this can exist !The first rep denied that my building and unit exists. When i found a rep that acknowledged the building, he said that comcast did not provide service to it. I then talked to a third rep who denied that comcast provided service to my building so i provided other unit members names and accounts by their permission (and requested by a prior comcast rep). The rep refused to verify available service via this info, even though their would have been no breech of privacy. A final dead end.I took a 3 1/2 hour drive to the ocean city md comcast building (85th streetand spoke to a rep that acknowledge that the “800” numbers are useless and then answered my questions. By request he gave me his business card and a personalized phone number to call him directly when ready to establish service. Literally 15” later i called the number and was told by message that he was not available. I left a message of with my name, intent, and call back number. This is now day four since leaving a message and still no response by comcast. I hate dealing with a business that i feel like I’m pulling teeth to become a customer because it just indicates horrible future customer service.If there was an alternative provider, which their isn’t, i would definitely use them.That is how a company like this can exist.
Was able to get same day appointment. Tech arrived within 3 hour window, diagnosed the problem and fixed quickly
I have never experienced such wonderful customer service. The atmosphere is one of happiness and you can tell they like each other and enjoy their jobs. I never call the toll free number any longer...I go to the store for prompt courteous service. They have helped me understand my bill and recommended services I had never used. (DVR Retirement was just made easier! I even go there to pay my bill; just because I enjoy the visit.
Made 3 service appointments each with a 3 hr. window. They never came for service. I was told "not many techs showed up today" Somehow poor management is my problem. Getting direct TV! (0 stars)
This is the worst company. I have had nothing but trouble ALL SUMMER LONG. If you think you will be the lucky one and be happy with this company, just sign up. Soon you too will be calling with your reoccurring problem, get hung up on, have trouble over and over again, and get no where ...s l o w. I HATE THIS SERVICE!!!!!!!
Hard to believe that an actual physical store located on Coastal Highway will not allow phone calls and you are routed to overseas agent. Confirmed by corporate office in Philadelphia that phone number of actual Coastal Highway, Ocean City Maryland phone number is protected from any calls without going through their process and then you still are not given a number. Horrible!
HORRIBLE!!!! we had service installed a year ago. the tech had a DVR box to install but we had not ordered DVR and asked for standard box. he went out to his truck and brought in a new standard box as he told us and said we would not be charged DVR service on our monthly bill. Total lie!!! Weve been charged for DVR ever since despite them telling us we dont have a DVR box. They are thieves!!! stay away from this company.
Aweful I just recently made a payment before the holidays and they lost the payment. They started an investigation and then when that failed to be completed I called and they opened a new one. Needless to say no progress has been made. Go elsewhere.
Money hungry organization that doesnt care about the customer experience. We are playing 49 dollars a month to get what you can over the air. I wish there were other options in Ocean City MD but I guess the politicians made it impossible to have competition.
I would give zero stars if i could. My service charges keep going up and my service isnt changing. I try to get rid of Cable just to have Internet, and im told DOWNgrading will cost me $15 more a month. What kind of sense does that make.
Tried to call them 6 times in a row ! Keep getting disconnected when system says please hold to be connected to an agent! Comcast sucks! Cant get to anyone to rectify any problems!
Why have I never heard of anyone that had a good experience with Comcast. I joined the list of unsatisfied customers today. They ought to start offering the "Inconvenience package" with all the other packages they try to sell you! I think No is their favorite word. I was trying to see if they had a wifi product with limited service so I could view my wireless thermostats at a vacation house, and of course the answer was "No".
Website gives Saturday hours indicating they are open for service at their 8301 Coastal Highway location until 5:00 PM. So we walked up at around 2:30 pm. Closed. Sign on the door said they closed at 1:00 PM. Thanks, Comcast, for wasting our time.
