Burger King in Whitley County

The staff was kind and stroked a conversation with me, and made sure I had fresh fries as that’s the only thing I ordered. As a previous BK GM, this meant a lot. Kuddos!

When dining in at about 1:00 pm , food was hot, fresh , and appeared to be assembled in a better manner than at other times of the day . When we normally would dine was about 5:30 - 6:00 pm , food was not hot or fresh, buns were dryed out, fries were not even close to hot , presentation appeared ; all ingredients are in the wrap , so? We have chosen to not go to BK after 4:00 pm for evening meal any more.

Food was good service was good. For a fast food restaurant it was very clean.

Best place to have cold burgers…

Last choice for breakfast Saturday morning and the reason for this did not change. The breakfast sandwich was soggy. The texture of the biscuit and dampness of the wrapper made it obvious it was most likely microwaved. Serving size was very small. I had a md. ice tea which had a bitter old taste. The cost for a breakfast sandwich and md drink was $6 and some change. What a waste of money. I am not sure if BK in general is taking a nose dive or just this franchise.

Was good, lil slow on service but good

they had 3 customers and told me when i pulled up to order *due to the high volume of customers we are closing NOW* wth they cant handle more than 3 customers?!

Whoppers are always good on my opinion and this one is pretty clean and looks fairly new.

Everything I order was old and gross. I don’t understand how making jalapeno bites and mozzarella sticks could be so hard. The food had clearly gotten cold and sat out for hours and was just heated up. Not to mention the service is extremely slow majority of the time.

I really enjoy BKs new Ghost Pepper Nugs and Spicy ChKing sandwich. If they could just be more consistent on the quality it would say it is better than Chick-fil-A. Until then it is a great second option.

The bun tasted several days old. This was not a good burger. Used to be Burger King was much much better.

If I could give it zero I would. Was just there. Cold burgers. Cheese wasnt even melted. And the bun was rock hard. When Im the only vehicle in line how can my food be waiting at the window. Pre-made and awful

Food was good and so was the service. A little to much yelling in the kitchen though.

We go every monday before appointments. Some times may take a moment, but thats fine service is friendly.

I travel all around for work. I stopped in there this morning and was more impressed with that small town Burger King than I have been with any other restaurant or any other fast food chain in a long time. Those ladies were warm welcoming and in the holiday spirit they were fast efficient and I was very very very impressed merry Christmas! We need more people like that in the world that restored a lot to me today!

Food was fresh, drive thru time with 3 vehicles in front of me was maybe 2 minutes, with drink and food ready and handed out to me as I was pulling up to the window. Keep up the great service!

Walked in and the place was dead and only one car in the drive through. I ordered the new ghost pepper nuggets and a sandwich along with a kids nugget meal. I was asked what sauces and told them. I got to the table with my 1yr old and got into her food only to find the spicy nuggets were in her kids meal bag and her food wasnt there. I went and said something to manager and was given the right stuff and apologized to. Got to table and found no sauces in either bag also. Couldnt imagine if it wouldve been busy or I went through drive through and got home. Let alone if my daughter had gotten one of the spicy nuggets!

OMG slow!!!!!!!!!! We sat for over 15 minutes waiting for cheesy jalapeño tots and fries. Niether of which take that long to cook...

Staff is fairly friendly (much better than others in town), restaurant is clean and orders are correct.

This place has really turned around over the past few years. It used to be horrible. Slow, bad food... but now, under the new management, the food is always great, the service is friendly and fast!

burger kings spicy chicken sandwiches are amazing. i havent had a bad expirence with BK or this BK specifically.

We go to Burger King in Columbia City IN after Trick or Treating it was the most awful food I have ever ate!! The hamburger was not done and my husband’s food was so cold!!! Won’t be back you go there to get a hot meal and it is cold!!! Won’t recommend this place to anyone!!!

I shouldnt expect much from fast food but I got 2 chicken sandwiches and fries and talk about YOU WANT SOME SALT WITH THAT? It was super salty and bitter gross. Please do better.

I don’t eat out often because I dread the old familiar feeling of disappointment. Tonight’s experience was no exception. No encoré of tonight’s experience necessary. I ordered a whopper with cheese. Upon taking my first bite, an undeniably acrid flavor blasted out of the gate like a prized Thoroughbred. No flukes in sight. Acrid took the lead and didn’t give up any ground. Acrid dominated the race through the beginning, middle and end. I don’t mean to sound like a jerk. It’s Burger King not a Michelin star restaurant. Please pay more attention to a patent detail like blackened, burned bread. I’m not asking for the stars here. Throw out the burned bread, and try again. Let’s grill that puppy up with a little more reverence of cooking protocols.

This burger king is so good and has only let me down ONCE! 99 times out of 100 haha The food is always fresh and the staff are always fast and accurate and NICE. I enjoy my visits here.

Hot frys hot nugs 10/10 Dani Cornwell and Andrew gadbois are best people on shift no complaints when they are working and when they arent working they take care of issues with aweful service and food will for sure be back again if theyre working

We stopped Sunday afternoon. We ordered the 2 for $10.00 one was wopper with cheese it was fone..the second wS the bacon king it was horrible the patty was old & dried out. Only way to take it back was going back through the drive thru which we wasnt going to sit & wait to get another old sandwich. Even the bacon was old...

Well I went there around 12:30 which I know is lunch time. And I use the mobile order to make sure it would go a little faster. It ended up taking me about 15 minutes to get through the line however. The people that were working were super good the system with the mobile order worked great. Also I tried the new ch King spicy and its not bad. You should definitely use the mobile order app if youre going to eat there anyways you might as well take the free points to get free food.

Went in for a lite but cheap meal. Tried the $1.00 bacon Cheeseburger, not bad, bought 2, fries and small drink. I was satisfied. I compared it to the Wendys Jr. Bacon Cheeseburger. I like W. s lettuce tomato mayo, better. But this price, sure did eat the competition. I will go back.

This Burger King is home to some very sociable and good natured hard working people. The food could suck there, and Id still go.

Apparently they can make up their own hours. Decided they were going to close 30 minutes early because "they are understaffed" with at least 3 employees working. Someone just wanted to go home early. Wendys was open until they were supposed to be....

I ordered a double whopper to go. There was so much grease the bottom bun was soaked and it was soaking through the wrapping. I took it back and was made a new burger. Nobody looked at the grease burger. The cooks in back decided to yell grease-more grease when new burger was up. I didnt find it funny since I had to make 2 trips.

They didnt ask if we wanted cheese on our burgers or if we wanted ketchup packets. Always ask. And put more than 2 napkins in the bag (2 per menu item).

I rarely see anyone here, and honestly I dont go here very often myself. However everytime I do its an enjoyable experience. The fries are always fresh and they get my order right.

Lady at the DT speaker, Monica according to my receipt was very pleasant. Food was ready when I got to 2nd window. Hash-browns not fresh/cold. Sausage biscuit was good.

I Went fairly late on a Tuesday night at the Columbia City, IN, location after 10pm so the dining room was closed. I did however go through the drive thru since it was still open. I placed my order, paid, & they came back to the window & apologized for the delay & told me they would have to make my food up fresh & it would take about 6 minutes. I said that was no problem for fresh food! They were super nice, offered me a drink while I waited & got my order ready. We ordered the crispy chicken sandwiches & they were awesome as always!

Best fish sandwich that Ive had from any Burger King location in years. The staff was super friendly and extremely efficient. If you want good BK Lounge food you must visit this location.

My husband and I had a extremely rude experience at our local Burger King Restaurant this evening. It was around 6:45 pm on 11/2We were in the drive up and were ready to order, when the person on the other end started with if we would like to donate a dollar to some charity. Did not say good evening, or welcome to Burger King. My husband responded with no...and then there was a LONG pause, finally the person on the other end said, ‘order when your ready’ we could hear the attitude immediately. We started to order and before we were finished he interrupted again with an attitude and asked, ‘what do you want to drink“. We looked at each other and told him, no thank you we will go somewhere else.

Just went through the drive thru and ordered a GRILLED Chicken sandwich with mustard, lettuce and onions. When I got home it was crispy chicken and had lettuce and mayo. So disappointed also as the chicken was grisly and awful. Moms Whopper did not have the proper condiments on it. Mine went in the trash. Should have gone one block south and had a DQ. 🤢🤢

Food is ALWAYS cold or burnt and isnt very good. And they DO NOT honor mobile coupons will tell you its not in system or cant find it so wont honor it. Waste of time and money DO NOT go there if you want decent food or to use coupons.

The Whopper I received, the meat was cold, the 2 pickles and one ring of onion were tough, it had 3 pieces of lettuce the size of a pickle.It was the worse said sandwich I ever had. French fries were Hot good.

Love the food however I dont like the how they did the lounge. It use to be fun going there you could take your kids there to play and out of the weather but not anymore now you just sit in a chair in an open room as people and younger kids stare at you or on there electronic devices

We went to burger king on July 14 at 10:30 p m only 2 employees was working they was getting slammed . A young gentleman name Cory was running back and forth from window to window plus getting the food bag up and drinks. He did a AWESOME job.. All with a smile on his face.. The 5 stars are for CORY Not burger king its self..

Decent food...never busy but theres a bit of a wait it seems.The building was rebuilt from the ground up so its all updated. Wider space in dining room with new seats. No playland. TV in dining area.

By far the absolute slowest fast food restaurant in town. Staff seems to not care that they even have customers and move at a glacial freaking pace. I have witnessed staff members getting in verbal arguments with complaining customers do to poor service. Also not to mention the cleanliness of this place is freaking disgusting! Definitely needs new management and staff.

Fries were cold. New crispy chicken has been great at all other BKs. Bit into this one and had so much grissle, I had to spit it out. No drink machine with all the options. Terrible!

The staff tonight was very friendly and can only work with what they have. We only go to Burger King for the kids. It always takes forever just to get someone to take the order. Tonight over 20 minutes just to get to the pick up window.

Happy New Year! Ordered a whopper special, no onion add bacon and cheese. Got charged for the additions but sandwich had onion, no bacon and no cheese. Call in, start talking to the manager and she hangs up. Does not answer when we called back. Very professional! Very caring!

Went there to try the new cheetos chicken fries and when I opened the box to eat them they smelled like dirty socks so we didnt taste them. We couldnt get past the nasty smell. Our fries were cold and the chicken sandwiches we ordered were cold and tasted horrible. Burger King in Columbia City has really gone downhill. We have ate there off and on over the years and the food is just terrible. Wont be eating there any more. Tried too many times and get the same results. Crappy food.
