I was charged for an instrument rental that wasn’t allowed to be brought home for my son thru school. I requested money payments back since my son hadn’t had an instrument over the whole summer. No one will help this is wrongful doing. If I could give negative stars I would. Please contact me if you’d like this deleted for the 3 months of 37 dollars thanks!

Noah is very knowledgeable about guitars and seems to be a bit of a luthier. Hes always super polite and cordial. I am always happy to do business with him.

Just recently purchased and began playing guitar. I brought it into the shop to have it setup, and get re-strung, as it was used before. Walked into the store and was greeted immediately, asked what I could be helped with, and pointed in my direction. The feeling was genuine and the vibe of the store was great right away.I spoke with Nolan, who helped walk me through what I would need, and what I would like my guitar to feel like, as Im very new. Even though Im inexperienced, he tried to understand what exactly I was hoping to get from the guitars action and how Id like it to feel when I play. This meant a lot, because you could tell with his level of experience he was trying to put himself in my shoes, and he wanted to give a service that I would think was worthwhile.Charged me a very fair price, and had it back to me the next day. Came back and was treated with the same excellence I had received the day prior.I dont live in Lancaster, but wanted to check them out as they have so many good reviews. Those reviews are totally warranted. Theyve definitely earned my business, and theyll continue to get it!

Very clean place with covid restrictions in place. The workers know what their talking about when it comes to selling a person that dont know much about music the right items. If it was not for their employees I would not have been able to give my other half the perfect christmas gift.

All the staff has always been so helpful and friendly.

Exceptionally knowledgeable people or instruments especially the young man in the guitar section very knowledgeable you have to go see him.

C.A. House Music has a lot to offer in a small footprint. Its a great resource for students in band as well as other musicians looking for stringed instruments. They have a good selection of new instruments, accessories, guitar pedals, etc. I am less knowledgeable about the brass side of the store, but the guitar side has a variety of Fender guitars and basses. They also have a good selection of acoustics. Its definitely worth a stop if youre nearby.

Just dropped off my alto saxophone for repairs. Seemed friendly. Good prices for repairs. Felt comfortable here. Will update when I get my sax back next week.

Good place to buy supplies for instrument (valve oil, Reeds drumsticks ect.But NOT instruments. They rip you off and even set up a plan to charge way more than they need to. Just buy directly from the manufacturer, and also DO NOT get your instrument repaired here. They will hold it for a long time and overcharge for the repairs.

Confession time. I call this place cat house music. Why? Cats are very friendly. This is my favorite store to just stop in for a chat. Eli is awsome, if they still use that word.But its not just friendly, they know my name when I walk in. So its like sitting in the kitchen over coffee.Needless to say, the selection is outstanding and if they dont have what you want, they will go out of their way to find it for you. Layaway is my friend here. I have one guitar and a keyboard I bought here.Last count, my husband has7 guitars and is looking for 3 more. He might look at other shops. But this is where we buy.

I had my Martin JC16RE Aura worked on. I had lots of buzzing while plugged into church Sunday mornings. They gave me a good quote and the work was done by a certified Martin Luther. I will definitely take my Martin back if it ever needs worked on again!

Good store they carry reeds, sticks, and strings along with musical instruments.

It seems many have positive reviews. Its unclear how these are filtered. My experiences have been quite different. I am renting an instrument for my granddaughter and on all my interactions with Mike, I have been treated brief, hurried, unfriendly and as though Im a burden to his work day. Very rarely do I receive a "thank you", and in one circumstance I felt like I was being handled by a used car sales man. Maybe this is a result of a huge workload he carries, however, it certainly has impacted my experience. The instrument is great at $34 a month. A for quality instruments....F for customer service.

Stopped in to look around and pick up a ukulele. Eli in the guitar half of the store was friendly and helpful in assisting me in picking out an instrument. Would shop here again.

Went in to get a band accessory that school told us to get. They gave me the wrong thing and then gave me brief about exchanging. Might be worth a trip to Columbus to buy from a professional company

CA House employees are very helpful and they know how important music is to music teachers. They are always looking out for us and they make sure our students are taken care of. They have wonderful contacts and always know what jobs are available as well as good deals on instruments, lessons, etc. CA House serves us well!

Ive had my guitar neck adjusted a couple times by Jake. Hes a real good guy and very knowledgeable. He does nice work too; my guitar always sounds so much better after hes worked on it. They dont charge an arm and a leg either!

CA House always has the best selection and the most knowledgeable employees. We were shopping for an amplifier, and got a head, a cabinet, a Kramer guitar, and accessories. All were at very reasonable prices. It was a very positive experience, and I would recommend CA House to all area musicians.

I have been a customer of C.A. House Music in Parkersburg for three years, and every time I enter the store I am treated very well by every staff member I interact with. They do not make me feel stupid when I have a question about anything the way some other music stores do.
