Cafe1069 in George Town

Fantastic Cafe in the main street of Georgia town. Yummy food and lovely staff and great coffee.

Sadly seemed rather closed only few panni options to choose..lovely furniture...

I graduated from primary school here and it was a pretty good dinner and dessert and i would love to eat here again its just that im broke lol

Very nice place to stop and have a snack or cuppa. Well definitely be back.

This was our second trip to Cafe 1069 - the first was so good that we had to come back.Our family has quite specific dietary requirements but nothing was an issue with the crew here. They even ducked around the corner to grab some gluten-free and dairy-free bread for our burgers.Didnt walk away hungry, thats for sure.Well hopefully get back again soon.

Had an absolutely delicious couple of meals. Good size servings, fresh and didnt take long to get it. Well definitely be back.

The pancakes and eggs florentine were perfect and so fresh and tasty. Warm service and coffees too. Highly recommend.

Our family had a vegetarian pizza and two cheese burgers and it was marvellous. Food wasnt too heavy but very filling and chips were fresh and crispy. Ambiance was very relaxed and wait staff were faultless. Highly recommend.

Dropped in for late(ishlunch. Only ones there. Guys were SO nice! Amidst the many meat options which Im sure are popular, were two falafel dishes. They were fresh & tasted divine! Not easy to find vegetarian options sometimes. Well done!

We had lunch at Cafe 1069 today. The food was delicious and the service could not be faulted. We will eat here again.

I found the food excellent with previous visits even though priced high, however, today I was seated and waited over 20 minutes with still no service, was not that busy, I just walked out. Coffee is average watered down latte, not worth the money. I will give them another go in the future and if improvement I will edit this review.Went back, ordered heaps of foods (where is the steak?One of the pizza was so loaded with ham (where was the other meat? Meat lovers!!!), just took a few bites, could not eat. The male staff/owner recognised it, talked to us which was good, but I may have like a 50% discount on it, but thats ok, was little disappointed already from previous visits and took the financial loss of the overpriced food again. Not recommended.

Pleasant staff and capable chefs. Busy but efficient. Enjoyed the 30 Mile Shiraz.

Sweet potato fries, fabulous. Chai latte, delicious. Staff, friendly, attentive and welcoming. Breakfast wrap was disappointing. Mesclun instead of spinach, virtually no tomato and the small amount included was pale and tasteless; couldnt taste or see any fetta and the basil pesto was left out. When questioned I was told they hadnt been able to get basil so couldnt make pesto. I think customers should be told that when they order. I was still charged $16.50 although the staff did make me a replacement wrap which I took home. The replacement did have actual spinach. Paid extra for bacon but there was very little of that either. My friend ordered bacon bruschetta which came minus the tomato relish described on the menu. We have both been here for lunch before and it was fantastic. Not sure whats happened since then.

Our favourite cafe in George Town. Staff are friendly, food is top notch, coffee goes down smooth. The atmosphere is relaxed and cosy. We always feel welcome at 1069.

Great food, the young waitress is so good, remembering orders, not flustered even though they were busy, food did I mention it was awesome, Im sure going back.

Have visited twice. On both occasions the food was decent but the time spent waiting for it to arrive was a lot longer than expected. 40 minutes for a burger and 30 minutes for a slice and 2 coffees? ⏰🤔

Over an hour wait for 2 large pizzas that were very average at a cost of $47, including 2 small drinks, definitely not a good business for Georgetown customers

AVOID THIS PLACE OVER AN HOUR WAIT FOR PIZZA!!! Never in my life have I waited over an hour for an expensive average pizza. The wait time is ridiculous, over an hour wait for 2 pizzas picked up. They said 40 minutes, came in after 40 minutes and they had just started cooking the pizzas, making the total wait over an hour. For the price it was average, the onion wasnt cooked with way too much on the pizza. It was not worth the money or the wait. Very disappointing.

Called into Cafe 1069 for lunch. Menu had some great vegan options, which can be hard to find when youre travelling. The food, coffee, and staff were great, highly recommended.

Had breakfast: If you dont mind warm eggs, warmish bacon, cool toast, no butter served with the meal and getting the coffee halfway thru the meal (and we had to remind them that we hadnt received our coffeethen have a great time there.

Amazing coffee & the most delicious vegan options! Big vegan breaky & the vegan burger are too die for! The staff are so friendly and accommodating, above and beyond for all that enter the cafe. Highly recommend ❤️

The best option in town! Totally recommend Cafe 1069 to all my friends and family travelling through or to Georgetown. The chilled funky vibe hits you as soon as you step through the door.Always amazing fresh food selections and great coffee, and alcohol choices served by the friendliest of staff.We love dropping in and checking out what new treats or menu items are on offer. We also loved the live entertainment.PS. The fries are to die for! Add them to your order and don’t share.😊

We where looking for a good breakfast this place was perfect and had a great vibe.

Just got home to Launceston from visiting Georgetown had the best pizza ever. Would recommend Cafe1069 if your wanting some good home cooking. The service is great.

Wow. I was so impressed by this delightful cafe we stumbled across when visiting Tasmania. The staff were so friendly we ended up staying for a few hours to enjoy the atmosphere. The food is made with so much love which i really appreciate being in the hospitality industry. There is a thoughtful variety of food, however, the highlight for us was the delicious, creative, home made pizzas! A cafe that must be tried if youre in the area.

Stopped in here for dinner after the nearby penguin tour. The staff were wonderful and the pizza was delicious!
