Camping Alentejo in Estremoz

Lovely campsite. Nice large pitches, surrounded by cork trees. Nice swimming pool. Ideal first stop after Border. Spotless toilets and showers.

We stumbled upon this spot on our way to Evora and we were pleasantly surprised to find a sweet little call spot with kind, generous hosts and fantastic amenities. Simon and his wife were very welcoming. They sell pizza and make fresh rolls in the morning. The facility’s were modern and clean, and had everything we needed. There is even a lovely walk around the property. We had a lovely stay (and it was so much better and had much more character than Orbitur, which is essentially a large parking lot with wifi).

Good space to rest, has a coffeeshop place to dispose residues, showers bathrooms and a pool

Good overnight stay, our 2nd stay during this trip. Great pizza delivered to our pitch.

Beautifully kept site very reasonably priced.Lovely part of the country.Pizzas cooked on site so perfect for transit stop or longer.

Affordable (€11 2 guests & van). Well maintained. Top section has nice views. Clean facilities. Quiet at night but during the day lots of traffic noise. Shower on timer and not consistently hot. Pool open in May. 12pm check-out.

Lovely nature view excluding the through road, but quiet at night, not intrusive overall. Delicious pizza homemade by the lady of the camping and good local wine. Beautiful clean facilities, lovely campsite and pool. Feel very welcome.

A very nice camping and friendly owner. Very clean everywhere. Some traffic notice from road nearby, but after a while you dont notice it.

Good stop over. Have stayed here several times on way to and from the Algarve. Owners take a pride in the site and are friendly and helpful.

The location is lovely nestling in nature marred by the traffic noise. Also the small swimming pool taken over by kids leaving little room for a peaceful cooling dip.

Siebo, the chap who runs the site, with his wife, could not be more friendly and helpful. The toilets are immaculate with loads of hot water. There are shady places under trees if you want to stay cool. I would certainly recommend for a stop-over heading south, or north. Or a longer stay to exploreEstramoz worth seeing also vila vicosa

Lovely little campsite. Nice big pitches, all with great views of the surrounding countryside. Very good facilities which were all very clean. Best of all the welcome. We were made to feel like a long lost friend and will be back for that reason alone.

Hi! We stayed over at this campsite in our VW T4 Camper for a few days in 2019. An enjoyable and relaxing stop, where we enjoyed the facilities of the site with its clean, tidy, well designed background. In the mornings, it was possible to pick up bread that one ordered the night before, enjoy a beverage; tea, or coffee... and later, after enjoying the sites conveniences ( music in the loos!), a dip in the swimming pool :).. The staff at the site are friendly, hard working, and always available. I dare say that if we go that way again, we will return.

Very nice site. Would recommend it. Only downside no hot water in washbasins.

This was our 2nd time, its one of our favourite sites, everyone was so friendly, spent a few hours at the local market in Estremoz on Saturday, antiques, veg, honey, local crafts and baby chics.. all together..make sure you wear comfy shoes we went withseibo (owner)in his campingtaxi. The site has excellent WiFi and a great happy hour, a chance to meet other campers and have a laugh.

This is a gem of a campsite, possibly the best site we have stayed on in Portugal. The owner is welcoming, hospitable and helpful. The campsite is well laid out and clean and tidy. We thoroughly enjoyed a walk with our dogs along the track at the back of the site. Very reasonably priced with all the facilities you could require.

Mini bus on Saturday to Estramoz was a nice touch for a modest charge. Its a nice clean and tidy site with level gravel pitches..had a bit of road noise as our pitch was near the road. Good stop over if you are travelling from and to Portugal. Id definitely stop over again.

The best campsite we have found in Portugal! Super clean, facilities smell good, they are clean, full of music. The road is right by it, but it is very quiet at night and the cows next door are just awesome!

Great site, friendly reception, pitches mainly hardstanding, small but pleasant pool, showers cold by early evening, great area to explore Evora Monte, Evora Monsarraz and many more, hopefully will return

Very nice campsite. Well organised. Great condition. Easy access off the road. Nice laid out pitches. Good shower and washing facilities. Only down side fair bit of road noise. Very cheap. Would stop here again.

A really excellent little campsite. Lovely little pool with views, pretty area, welcoming and efficient hosts, good showers. Impeccable and delightfully relaxed. Great for downtime.If it werent for the road during the day it would be utter heaven. (Road is obviously completely out of the owners control, is not busy but quite fast and quietens down almost completely at night)

A very peaceful location surrounded by numerous fortified villages and towns (including Evora nearbyas well as well renowned wineries.Lovely swimming pool and excellent shower and toilet facilities that are kept immaculately clean.We stayed in a tent and the ground is hard and stony (the only downside as far as we were concerned). The very friendly owners of the site will lend you a spike and hammer but make sure you bring a sturdy groundsheet. It’s worth the effort though.For camper vans - most of the pitches look like a good size from what we have seen, some will need levellers.Amazed it was quiet in June, it deserves to be full!

Very good camping. Very nice and quiet location, an oasis of peace and silence.We had been with a caravan and the pitch is large, clean, easy access to electricity and water source. We love this place! Truly recommend this place.

The site is good clean and tidy the people that own it are very friendly we have stayed a week and enjoyed it 14 euros a night

It is a beautiful and tranquil location with lots of interesting towns nearby. The owners are friendly and we were made very welcome. Definitely visit again

We came for a long weekend and are still here nearly a month later!The surrounding landscape/area is lovely but we have also been very impressed with the great care & thought that the owners-Catarina and Seibo have clearly put into supplying what people want from a campsite;not only the practicalities but their personal approach which is:warm,welcoming and very helpful.If only more campsites were like this.Many thanks.

We use this campsite on route to and from the Algarve twice a year sometimes for a few days mostly one night. Lovely site with good showers, toilets, small shop, nice pitches all in a pleasant setting.

Friendly well kept little site in a pretty rural location beside what can be a busy road in the day ,however the road is quiet at night. Many use it as a stopover but there are some nice villages and towns to explore around. We liked walking up to the nearby walled village of Evora Monte where there is a great little cafe with stunning views. You can see for 100s of miles over Portugal!! The site has a variety of neat gravelled pitches some are very large indeed and most with good access and level. 10 amp electric and good WiFi. It is a good idea to book ahead as it was very busy when we stayed at the beginning of March 2019 , but the owner managed to accommodate casual latecomers even when the regular pitches were full by parking them on the forecourt or grass verges. Our only negative which lost it a star was the lack of decent hot water in the showers and washing up sinks. I used our van shower instead.

Great site, fantastic dog walks and lovely owners. Great stopover on the way to the Algarve. You can order fresh bread for the next day too

2nd Visit to this wonderful campsite, music in the immaculate toilets, lovely pool, great dog walks through the cork trees and the owner and his wife cannot do enough for the campers, welcome get together every Wednesday and Saturday

Very good camping! Exceptional area with nice views. The welcoming and service is very good. There is a beautiful swimming pool.Definietly one of the best camping Ive been to.

We are a family of 4 with a rv camper. In 5 years it was the second time weve used a camping site for our vehicle... Since we are totally autonomous with water and power. Nevertheless we decided to stay here for 1 night and day to enjoy the pool. Its a very small camping which allows to enjoy the site without many people and confusion. It has pool, showers and its very nice taken care of. I recommend for 2-3 days stop maximum. Relax and enjoy.

To me, having traveled extensively the days prior to arriving here, the place was very welcoming indeed. Tenner a night for my tent (hammock ), clean toilets, clean everything, no hassle with shower coins etc. Relatively quiet (although if you are adverse to road noises, you might have less of a good nights sleep. This camping brought back some sense of normality after the insanity that is Spain.Helpful and friendly propietor.Would visit again without hesitation.On we go.

Very clean, very friendly site. Well set out with pitches in open or shade. Small, clean pool. Washer @€3.50. Fresh bread to order each day. Map of camp walk through Cork Trees. Book exchange. Camp trip to market Sat.For fellow motorhomers a bus at entrance to Evora at 7.55 €3.65. First one back 15.45, also €3.65.Why only 4 stars? Come with supplies.reception sells wine/pop/pizza but nothing else. No walks, other than above. No real cycling. The, very busy at times, road is so close and because of terrain you can hear vehicles coming and going from well up and down the road. Also rumble strips just past site. Not too bad during the day but badly affected our sleep at night. Its a shame but a fact to consider. Lots of people are OK with it and dont seem to notice. We would use again as owners are really nice, but only for a night or two.

So relaxing. Nothing much to do except chill and swim in the pool. Very quiet most of the time. Wouldnt suit kids but for a total chill out its ideal. Some road noise but nothing major. Lovely clean facilties. A really good, well thought out campsite.

this site is excellent value for money, clean facilities, good WiFi, helpful friendly owner. stayed here an extra four nights from planned. close by to a couple of nice towns/villages
