Nostalgic moment! High school hang out spot and it has not changed! I LOVE Campos Tacos and I always will! GREAT food!

This place really tanked. Not only are people rude but the food is very bad. We actually didn’t finish it. The meat was totally over salted, which makes me think they might have tried to cover that it is bad. The meat also looked weird, salsa was old as well.

One of the worst places I’ve ever eaten. I grew in LAUSD - this was worse.

Terrible restaurant. Prices on menu says one thing but guy at cash register says another thing. Couldn’t even question him because he doesn’t let you talk. Just tries to move you along. Like what the hell. Not ever coming back.

Delicious 😋 with enormous portions! Fresh and Authentic Mexican food! I love their burritos 🌯 they are HUGE! Easily to park and pick up On Robertson Blvd. Everyone is very welcoming and most importantly the FOOD is great 👍🏼 I’d recommend that everyone come to check this place out, especially considering there’s a Taco Bell right across the street.. there is NO comparison (quality food is unbeatable)!

This place has the best menudo. Best!!! They trim the fat so the broth is never greasy. Their combinations offer generous portions. When I order two items, rice, and beans I have anough for two meals. Food is reasonably priced and service friendly. Wish the parking was better, but I have been lucky always finding parking up front.

This review started with attempting to call the restaurant within the hour of its closing several times with no answer. Upon arriving we deduced that the employees ignored the phone, in order to ensure they do not have to take orders close to 9, so that they could close quickly and go home as soon as possible.The employee who closes the store with the chef was one of the laziest, most disrespectful people I have ever had the displeasure of ordering food from. When we ordered two burritos specifically different, listing the ingredients very clearly, he looked at us like he was out in space. We asked him if he understood that they were different, because we clearly saw he didnt do anything on the point of sale to change the order.Turns out we were right, that the order was put through wrong, and we had to specifically tell the chef that his coworker did it wrong and how we truly wanted it.After years of getting beef tacos with no salsa on them, they were done differently this time, and when brought to their attention the response was, "that is how it has always been." We asked if they could please fix the error by removing an ingredient from the tacos, and they flat out refused to assist, telling us to use the forks behind us and do it ourselves.If this employee is who we have to deal with whenever we order food from Campos, we will be taking our business to Titos Tacos from her on out - at least their portions are more respectful, and their service fast and kind.

Who would have thought - a breakfast burrito withOUT cheese? And could you try a little harder with the "home style potatoes?" Seriously, just a few more mins of cooking & you get these (bottom pic- NOW theyre home-style, since I fixed them - at home!

As a first time customer I can definitely say the food here was worth it. Even though I didnt order a Mexican plate or dish, they do go the extra step with portions on those. I did enjoy the Burger combos they have here though. Probably one of the best Ive had in a while and I would definitely revisit Campos just for the fries aloneEdit: These burgers man...

Menudo was good! They forgot our coffees (which were bad), gave us the wrong tortillas, served us on STYROFOAM (which kills mebut I would go back because it was tasty. Lets not be stingy with reviews here.

Pretty average. I havent had anything great but I also havent had anything terrible. The fountain drinks are both expensive and they charge for a refill.

OMGoodness this food is still good, I havent been here in years, I moved out of the city. But the next time Im in the area again Ill be there. The customer service is always great!!

Titos is over priced. A rip off of something simple. Campus tacos taste as good... Youll have to add sour cream. Not sure about the burritos. But the tacos... A+

I was very pleasantly surprised by the quality of this "restaurant" which is basically a taco stand - we wanted Mexican food one night, and I found it by accident on Grubhub. We will definitely be ordering again in the future . . soon! You can safely give them a try.

Very solid place. Giving It a 4 because I tried the nachos and they weren’t that good, but I am excited to try to carne Asada fries which is basically swapping the chips out for fries. Honestly the chips aren’t that good, that’s all it was. I got the burrito and added fries to it and they were so crunchy and potatoey omg! The horchata was on point as well! No picture, I smashed that burrito😂

Great Mexican fast food. Authentic. Billboard type menu reasonable prices. We get macho burrito which feeds two. The Spanish sauce is excellent. Tacos are fresh, and yummy. Beans are most important to us and are good. They have good relleno, peppers always mildly hot. Everything can be made hotter. Salsa bar has some super hot green sauce. Staff are personable and competent. We’ve been a fan for 10 years.

Been going here for many years, roughly 10-15 years (?? Ive lost track), love that its pretty much the same crew. Food is delicious, NEVER had a wrong order. Gotten a little more pricy over the years but still a good deal (I make the drive from Beverly Hills where I work). I order pickup usually and its always ready and always still hot. Dined in a few times, and everything is kept really clean! Guys that work here are super friendly too!!

Disappointed! I always eat here at-least once a week but usually order the same item. Decided to order menudo via Postmates and didn’t get any tortillas with it or utensils. The menudo had no flavor deff. Not ordering that again!

Ive been coming to Campos Tacos since I was a freshman at Hamilton high and their food still taste the same. Its absolutely delicious. The super chicken nachos are so good 👌 and the Mexicana quesadilla with chicken O.M.G... Im just drooling thinking about it. Their salsa is robust and fresh, they never disappoint. If you havent been do yourself a favor and stop on by.

Probably my main squeeze for a carnitas plate. On the way up Robertson, it is always clean like whistle, the guys are first rate BUT, ok but I want them to be friendlier. I do. I also think they should prepackage salsas- its one of those bars that have tiny containers begging a mess. Its always like whistle though, ok? The guys, the place- clean. Food is an 8 out of 10 and you guys, the Jamaica is 10+. Prices are good. Its serious business. 🙊

Great customer service, fast service. I would have pics of the food but I INHALED it. It was sooo delicious. I got the fajita chicken burrito. My girl got the taco and chicken burrito which she inhaled too. I think the use sharp cheddar...EVEN BETTER.

I have been going here since day one of their opening. Their food is really above par compared to other mom and shop restaurants. The menu reminds me of a michoacan style family restaurant. The super nachos are amazing make sure you order lengua and got myself together as a combo. By the way we are taught down in Jamaica are made on The daily in house. I wonder whose Grandmas recipe they stole for those.

Not sure if this was an off day or what but my famous avocado burrito was swimming in sour cream with barely any avocados or beans.

I ordered the Super Deluxe burrito and it came with chicken breast ,rice , beans and melted cheese an enchilada sauce. The portion size was good and it tasted pretty decent and thats coming from a native Texan.

Interesting location, its right across from a Taco Bell. Anyways, parking was surprisingly easy (paid). Food was greasy, but thats expected. Portions are veryyyyy generous. The guacamole was GREAT! Service was fast and friendly, and the place was pretty clean. There was nothing on the tables and they cleaned up quickly after parties left.

I ordered a burrito and chips with beans and instead of the guy charging me a side of beans because chips comes with the burrito he charged me a nachos with out cheese which are like 4 dollars more instead of the beans side which cost 2 dollar. Bad service and the carne asada has no flavor.

I love Campos. I love Mexican food. I can eat it everyday. Ive been going there since 1975 when I was going to Santa Monica College. Now there is one near me on Robertson and I frequent them often they all know my name. They all serve me very quickly and a very friendly and nice come in and I say hi to George and I also gave Frankie the Busboys there I guess he is the best boy I gave him a guitar because I really feel close to these people theyre like family.

I just ate there for the first time and it was really good! I still had the search up on my phone so I just had to write a review. Im definitely going to eat there again. I recommend the sour cream burrito!

This has been my go-to place for nachos since I was ditching high school in the early 90s! Campos is a classic west L.A. chain, and the Super Nachos is an awesome amount of food for a great price. Always recommend any of the Campos locations to anyone searching for great local Mexican food!
