Our go-to for a decade. Love everyone and everything about this clinic. Be it in Springville or Mapleton, falling sick is never more fun or reassuring, than if you’re a patient at Canyon View. Fantastic doctors, nurses, and staff.

The staff is always super friendly and understanding. It’s also very clean and all around a great clinic.

Had to go multiple times for most problems. They brushed me off most times because everything was just "anxiety" and gave no suggestions on how to deal with that later. One of the doctors kept touching me outside of what was needed which made me extremely uncomfortable and caused me to break down. He wouldnt test me for anything and would just look at me and say I have anxiety. Turned out most of the "anxiety" was the amazing combination of constipation, a UTI, heartburn, and a food intolerance. Cant complain about any of the nurses though they were always very kind.

Dont go here, russel beckstead does not care about your wellbeing. cant say anything about anyone else, but doctors represent the clinic. He dismisses what you have to say, talks condescending. Find somewhere else.

The worst care I have ever received! Came in tonight with an ankle that needed to be x-rayed. Xray tech was so nice and amazing, but the doctor was terrible. It was broken! I was told it was a distal fibula break. The doctor told me I would not be able to get pictures of my images, so take pictures on my phone. I was being referred to an orthopedic surgeon in the morning. The instacare doctor put the splint on, and had the medical assistant who informed him in front of me she had never wrapped an ankle before. The doctor left after instructing the medical assistant to hold my ankle in position while the material dried. No information on medicine or ice was provided. I had to have the medical assistant go ask the doctor what I could take. I was told 2 Aleve three times a day. The center did not have crutches. I have twophysicians in my family, one a retired Orthopedic surgeon, and a practicing Anesthesiologist. Both have seen the photos of my xray and both could not believe how I was treated at this center. I will not be back!

Sometimes it feels like they purposly make you wait forever to be seen. They dont seem to place priority in respecting peoples time. 1.5 hrs is too long for them to wait to see a 4 year-old with an eye infection, the visit only took 4 min, where as expected for this type of problem they prescribed antibiotics and sent us on our way. The lobby was practically empty when we arrived with 1 or two people arriving after us and leaving before us, the overall convenience and actual care isnt bad at all.

We have been patients here for many years well over 10 and feel we have gotten the best care possible. I enjoy having the availability of walk in although we dont use it often. We usually will make our appointment with our usually dr. Our Dr is superb with me and answering questions that I have or will look it up and call us.

Anna Kirby FNP, gave clear, definitive, and supportive information during our virtual medical call. I was gratified to receive the medical information and help including ordering of needed radiology to further assess. I highly recommend Anna Kirby FNP Canyon View as being astute in her assessments.

I could give 0 starts , I was seen by NP Kathy MorrillWas Saturday Morning when I saw her ... I was really sick with chills , through hurts, really bad and at that point I lost my voice. She saw me for less than 10 minutes.She admitted that I have infection but decided that I have to wait until Monday If I get worse I have to come back to her so she can prescribe a medication.I was crying to her to please prescribe something to help me feel better but she refused .I was on terrible pain and discomfort Saturday Sunday and Monday I was worse ,obviously I didnt return to her . I went to see a different Doctor and agreed that I have an infection and He treated me with antibiotics and pain medication. I was out from work 5 days, maybecouldbe less if she treatedme before . Now I got a bill from that visit for 183.00. I called the office and spoke with the manager (Aaronexplaining the situation that I dont think is fair for me to pay full of this bill but he refused to help me(I didnt refused to pay This place only care about money not helping their patients. I wont go back neither my family.

well what can i say, from the staff to the front desk. They all put up with mystuff. like Val Christy Dora. Sorry I used names cause i will always forget someone . But to dr Marc P he is the best.. Makes my View of quality of life Very important... thanks

The staff and providers are exceptional. We have been patients for over 10 years and have always received the best care. I like the ability to walk right in, without an appointment. Of course, I usually make an appointment for "my" doctor, but in an emergency it is nice to have a walk in option.

I’ve always had great experiences has a patient here! Having the option for telehealth has been great during COVID too.

After checking in I did not have to wait long, even including the pre-visit with the nurse, quickly followed by the appearance of the doctor. I was listened to, my concerns addressed and I left feeling that the visit had been both efficient and worthwhile.

Yesterday I went into have my hand checked from being bit by a mountain lion and its been absolutely horrible I thought that I would get the care that I needed from our city. This is the location I go to for everything. I couldnt even tell you the doctors name he walked in looked, not yoch or ask questions at my hand and said oh Ill call you in an antibiotic and then walked out we just sat there and started each other like what do we do. Had to ask a nurse to come in and see if they were going to rewrap my hand and if there was anything else we needed to do. Right after I ended up in the ER with major infection and inside torn ligaments and tissues. I was appalled and hope this never happens to anybody else. Having no insurance I did self pay and it was a waste of my time and my money.

Got the care I needed within 10 minutes of sign-in. I felt nurses were very attentive and made sure the care was done correctly. A training nurse was present to over-see the steps, and I felt good to know how my care was being taken seriously. Thanks everyone! Great job!

Ive been a long time patient, but will now go elsewhere. My doctor was good, but over the past couple of years, its been harder and harder to get a follow up appointment, so I finally resorted to seeing his P.A. Then today, I showed up 8 minutes late for my appointment after leaving work as early as I could to get there, then the receptionist made me wait 10 minutes while dealing with phone calls before even acknowledging me, then informed me that I was late for my appointment and must reschedule.I dont know what has happened to this clinic, but they dont care about patients anymore and theyve become VERY unprofessional in how they treat people. This is just the last of many second chances Ive given them. Too bad.

I needed to be seen without a scheduled appointment as I had developed extreme pain in my elbow. I was seen and help given in a very short time. I am grateful for the care and attention I was given.

Canyonview medical in Springville and Mapleton have the most awesome staff! We love from front iffy e to the doctors! Especially caring are Dr Penrod, Kristy, and Evan. We highly recommend this medical facility!!💞

Just walked in to get a flu shot and was not only welcomed, but was taken back for the shot within a few minutes. The nurse was great and I enjoyed the experience.

I love this place. All the doctors and PAs listen to what you have to say and are attentive to your concerns and needs. I have never been more comfortable in a Doctors office as I am here. Thank you for everything you do for my family!!

John Manwaring has got to be the worst doctor I’ve seen, it was almost a joke. After telling everything wrong with me he said word for word, “that’s weird,” how embarrassing to be a doctor. Didn’t look at history. Didn’t even ask WHICH pharmacy to call the “meds” into. Annoying to tell everything and have none of it heard.TLDR; Doctor didn’t hear a word I said. Embarrassing to be a PA.

My wife was seen for mysterious issues. The doctor and staff were so understanding and patient to help her figure out what was going on. I appreciate the doctors and staff of Canyon View in helping my family with their health care needs.

I appreciate the fact that I can check in easily with friendly front desk staff and that my wait time is never very long. I feel like I am treated like part of a family and that my needs are always addressed. Awesome experience each time I go.

I am a relatively new patient at this clinic but my experience has been great. The staff excelled at letting me know what to expect in my care procedures and how to perform follow up items with precision. I have been in person and via telehealth and both experiences were great.

I have been going to this clinic for three+ years, ever since I moved here. I have had very good experiences. The only improvement I feel is necessary is the amount of time that some the doctors spend with you. Sometimes it feel like they are in a rush to get to the next patient.

Not happy with this clinic, my husband has been suffering tons of pain in his lower adobmen and they made us go to the car visit. Just for them to tell us to go in. We chose to come here cause we figured it would be better. They are literally so afraid of covid their risking other people because of it. The Springville clinic is horrible. Ive had multiple bad experiences with them but this tops it. Stop treating people as if they dont matter or they have the plague because you choose to listen to the media.

Took two different doctors and 3 separate visits to solve an infection I got. They should have run tests the very first time i visited. Only the third time I went in did I actually get tested for what the infection was. They sent my medication to the wrong pharmacy. They made me wait for at least 20 minutes each time when there was hardly any other patients in the clinic. Dr. Penrod prescribed a medical cannabis card for my serious health conditions, and then refused to give permission for me to buy the only forms of cannabis that are really helpful to me.Im never going here again, dealing with this clinic felt like trying to work through a complex problem at a job with a completely incompetent employee.

I don’t love going to the doctors but I do love it at Canyon View. I love the nurses and the doctors and the treatment that I always receive there. I have moved out of Springville into Mapleton and I still feel it is worth the trip.

I just completed Telemed appointment with Anna Kirby, FNP with Canyon View. It is always a pleasure meeting with Anna. She listens, observes, takes the time to evaluate the symptoms and concerns and then discusses the treatment plan that she suggests and asks how you feel about that plan and if it will work for you. I am, again, thankful and impressed with Anna Kirby and Canyon View.

Anna Kirby took a lot of time and really listened to my concerns. I felt like I was heard and that my concerns were validated. I was called back right at the time of my appointment. The receptionist was friendly, helpful and organized.

I have been a patient at Canyon View for 12+ years. I have always been treated with care and concern. Dr. Taylor is a great listener and I have had good outcomes from his treatments and recommendations. I love the fact that "urgent-care" is a regular part of Canyon Views practice too!

I go to the Springville/Mapleton locationsSo many amazing providers. They have appointment times, or urgent care that you can walk in 8-8 Springville or 8-6 Mapleton everyday. They are even open in Springville on Saturdays from 8-2!I have been coming to CVMG to see the providers seen since I was a baby and on. I usually see one of the male doctors, but if you prefer to see a woman, all of the nurse practitioners are amazing as well!Dr. Penrod is really thorough and caught my diagnosis when others didn’t. Dr. McBride has great bedside manner and is very honest with you.Dr. Taylor ensures that you understand what is going on with your health, and explains what he is going to do to treat it and why.Dr. Russ Beckstead does not do anything unless absolutely necessary and looks at your health as a whole, not just one problem at a time.It is hard to say who is my favorite because so many of the doctors are so good. If you come to urgent care, you dont get to choose who you see but it wouldnt matter because of the care you receive no matter which provider.I cut my hand pretty bad one night. I called and let them know I was on my way and when I got to the clinic they had me checked in already and took me straight back. They have X-RAY machines and a lab so you dont have to waste your time getting those tests done somewhere else.

We have been visiting Dr Taylor for 10 years now. We couldn’t be happier. He’s attentive, clear, and descriptive. He has the best analogies to help us understand exactly what certain medications or procedures will accomplish or cause.When Dr Taylor stopped delivering babies he referred us to Dr McLay for our last. Dr Mclay was a continuation of the incredible care mentioned above.We recommend this family practice to anyone.

I see Dr. Penrod at both Springville and sometimes Mapleton clinic. Both clinics are well maintained, clean, and organized. Dr. Penrods nurse is friendly, sweet and thourough. Dr. Penrod is calm and professional and talks to me with concern and respect. I am really glad I finally found a physician that I trust and feel comfortable seeing. I highly recommend him.

My friends got their COVID test here and they were very satisfied with the format of the test being a saliva test. The wait was 30 minutes, but they played Christmas music over the phone. I would give five stars because of this, but the music was out of sync between the two phones. That bug should definitely be fixed in their phone system to merit a five star rating.

I wont go into detail of what I experienced here, but Ill just say they charge you when they shouldnt and dont even do anything during a visit, they try to push you off to different doctors or at least make you feel like they dont want to help you, push vaccines and shots on you even when you repeatedly tell them no, and have some of the most incompetent staff Ive had to deal with at any doctors office. The only helpful people were the ladies who drew blood. I wont be returning here. Waste of my time, energy, and money.

One time, the doctor seeing me for an urgent care visit was checking his emails on his smart watch the whole time. Not cool. Plus most of the time their front desk staff have been curt and impersonal over the years. Although, lately theyve been more friendly. Maybe they have new people. My regular doctor is actually great, gives me the time I need to explain whats going on, and really pays attention to me. Which is why I keep going back.Last year I went in for an urgent care visit after cutting my finger. The secretary went back to ask for a doctor and was told to have me go to the ER. I asked if they could at least examine the finger because I didnt think it was bad enough for the ER. She went back and I could see her talking to a group of doctors and nurses, but I was again told to go to the ER. Of course the ER told me that urgent care could have handled it and it would be much cheaper. Thats okay, that $1,200 was burning a whole in my pocket anyway. :After a complaint, at least the clinic called me back and apologized and said they would make sure a medical professional would examine each patient before sending them away.

These doctors and staff are great and professional! They also care very much about their patients and their well being. They also are good listeners. This is what makes a quality office. They also get you in quick to be seen.

Dr. Beckstead is the best. He is caring and really listens to you. He has helped me numerous times. I also like the same day appointment structure. My thumb accidentally touched a like on a review I dont agree with below and I dont know how to reverse it. Love this clinic.

I have six kids living at home. I use the urgent care all the time. My girls love Emily Dunn. I have had good experiences with all the doctors and staff. I have always been treated with compassion and respect. So happy to have found this clinic.

I have attended this clinic for twenty years and even though I live farther away now, it is worth it to me to get in quickly and have quality treatment. Canyon View has been consistently good at what they do. I am always surprised the receptionist remembers my name! Wouldnt go anywhere else.

Best group of doctor I have even used! I love the urgent care. I love that they can handle almost anything in their office instead of sending you to the ER. Their doctors listen and are very knowledgable. Thank you for being so great! I was lost for about 8 years when my dr uprooted and now I couldn’t be happier!

I would give this place negative -5 stars if possible. Ive never had such an aweful experience. I went to get an ingrown toenail fixed. The nurse was a nice mexican lady she was so kind and listen to me. However it wasnt the same with the doctor. I got Dr. Penrod.. I didnt like him from the beginning. I was ready for him to fix my toe, he took out his little light to take a look and that was all he did. Just looked at it, he didnt touch the swollen part or anything. This was one thing that frustrated me he didnt do anything which seemed like he had no intention too. I was surprised. He told me he would put me on an antibiotic and I should reschedule my appointment for the surgery. This really ticked me off. I came down to have my toe fixed not to have him just put me on an antibiotic that Will not help me in the end. After asking why he couldnt do it he came up with excuses. The first was that he was the only doctor in staff (this is when I felt he didnt care about me as a patient), the second was there were other patients waiting (this was understandableI asked if I could wait till after for him to do the surgery since he was more concerned about the other patients....then the real reason can out to why he didnt want to do it. The doctor said it was getting too late for him to perform it....I was floored. Never in my life have I heard of a doctor who was so lazy and didnt care about his patients. IF I WAS A DOCTOR I WOULD GO ABOVE AND BEYOND, EVEN STAY LONGER IF NEEDED, UNLIKE THIS MAN DID. I am very displeased in him and how he conducts himself. Not professional at all. Im sure Dr Taylor would have been more willing than the idiot I got. I also went to ask for a refund since they didnt do anything for me, and I was rejected. This frustrates me because if they couldnt do the surgery that evening why did you take my money and bring me back? I am shocked, and I will never go to this clinic again TAKE MY ADVICE AND STAY AWAY FROM THIS CLINIC. YOU ARE BETTER OFF SOMEWHERE ELSE. Im disappointed in the owner, hope you read this and are aware....but you probably dont care yourself now do you?

The best thing about this office is their every day walk in clinics. I know that no matter what, I can take myself or my kids here without an appt and see a dr if needed. But - if you need more than just a prescription, the service is usually lacking. I went in last week and saw Dr. McBride. Visit was great, he was very nice and addressed all my questions. He seems very knowledgeable and has the potential to be someone I would go to as my family Dr. But, I ended up having some testing done on Tuesday. On Wednesday, no call with results. On Thursday, no call with results. Friday (todaymorning I called to ask about these results because I don’t want to wait over the weekend and was told he isn’t in the office at all today. I asked if he had been in at all since Tuesday and yes he had, both days. For someone in quite a bit of pain, waiting isn’t an option. I need to know what’s going on and get on the road to getting it taken care of! Results should be relayed to the patient quickly, not when it’s convenient for the Dr. My results are being sent to a different Dr to be reviewed, we’ll see how long it takes to get a call back. In the meantime I made a follow up appt at a totally different office and will have my results forwarded to them for future treatment.

We have been going to this office for many years. We drive from Payson to keep going. The front desk can be a little "rushed" or make you feel like you are unconvincing them...sometimes. Not all the time.The nurses have always treated us great. We absolutely love Doc McBride and Pernod. We dont have much interaction with the others. Doc Pernod and Doc McBride will sit and listen to you, your kids, and take the time to explain things to you. At least that is how they have been for me. Love these Doctors.

Ive met with two of the nurse practitioners here and have had very positive experiences both times. Kathryn Morrill is who I usually go to and took my two kids there for the first time today. She has always spent lots of time questioning, listening and assessing, and is just really wonderful. I have a special needs daughter who is always a challenge in Drs offices, and the nurse who helped us was amazing, she jumped right in helping to comfort and distract her through everything. Because of the nature of my daughters condition I have met with dozens of Drs, and am so happy with my experience there. Will take the whole family there from now on.

I love this office. I am pleased by the staff and know many of them growing up in the same community. I hope that people will consider the difficulty of being a doctor and the many countless and thankless hours they put in. I feel like my needs are met and that they provide services that others do not, like having a lab right in their office to meet your needs rather than being shipped down the way to another appointment and a waste of time. I would recommend this office and their staff to all.

keep it up Canyon View....keep getting those 1 star reviews...real class act. front desk staff need a desperate class in customer service/compassion/empathy. The last thing I need when I am sick or hurt is for someone to treat me like I am a huge inconvenience being there. I watch them gossip and stuff their faces with junk food. Has been this way as long as I can remember. After 8 years I am looking for a new provider/clinic. Read the other reviews. We all cant be wrong. It saddens me because I like my provider there even though they only spend 2 minutes with you with their nose stuck in their laptops documenting, instead of listening to your concerns. They herd you through there like sheep. Modern medicine is a sad commentary these days. i beg you not to waste your time and money here. listen to the reviews people, we are not idiots.

The visit was fine, and Jessica parker was great. My complaint was with the person I talked to on the phone after the visit about billing. I was under the impression that I would not have to pay a copay with my insurance, but because of the way I worded it when I set up my appointment, I had to pay. Which is fine, but when I called to get it sorted out I was treated like I was incompetent and a total idiot. She talked down to me, and patronized me quite a bit. She was very sarcastic sounding, and really made me feel bad. The level of unprofessional behavior was startling. I will not be going back.
