Dated establishment, limited menu but good offerings. Went off season so no problems with service.

Omg the chicken calabrase is fantastic!Can’t wait to come back. It’s worth the 2 hour drive! The staff is friendly and courteous!

Wow what a great time. First time there bar area is like circa 70s, brought back alot of memories dont change it please. A must!!

Foods pretty good, atmosphere is kinda dated...but the kitchen staff changed a dirty diaper on a dinner table less than 10ft from where we were all dining...thanks for ruining the appetites.

Everything was good. Friendly staff. Great sized portions, beautiful view of the lake.

I had the lobster tail with salad, baked potato and broccoli it was delicious. My dining partner had stuffed shells which were awesome. I haughty recommend.

Decor is more than a bit retro but food was good. Open later than surrounding places although food service ends before bar. We got there near the end of food time but they served us anyway which we appreciated. Wed recommend.

Service was good and fast. Waiters and bartender were polite. Restaurant decor is 80s style. Feels like stepping back in time. The food was mediocre and pricey for the quality. There was nothing special about the drinks. In general, I think Italian American restaurants do a poor job at making Italian food. Yes, I have been to Italy multiple times.

Danie made my birthday amazing, food was the best and service was top notch. They waiters are really nice people to talk too, and the chef is just out standing.

We really enjoyed the place, food was exquisite (we were amazed), very fresh.Costumer service was excellent, they were very interested to provide a good service and they really cared about how we were feeling!!! Definitely coming back next time we visit PA.👍🏼

I am literally shocked that this place has a ton of 5 star reviews. I am actually not a picky person and I was highly disappointed. Maybe people are so happy to be at this beautiful Lake Wallenpaupack that they don’t see how terrible this restaurant is. The decor is dated and I mean like my grandma would say it’s dated. The salad tasted like it had been frozen and the thawed and served. The calimari has freezer burn and was dry. The bread was stale. My wife’s seafood medley was so watery you could swim in it. My gnocchi was ok but the vodka sauce was flavorless. Service was ok at best. Every restaurant around the lake is better then this one.

Just had a great breakfast at the Capri . The menu offers varied selections . I enjoyed the quiche of the day with fresh fruit. Both were delicious .My dtr.- in- law had pancakes ( with real maple syrup), eggs over easy , potatoes, bacon, and rye toast, also fresh fruit and coffee. Before our meal, the waitress brought banana bread and our beverages.Looking out over Lake Wallenpaupack is so pleasant. The tables were set with white linen , napkins folded neatly with silverware in a glass, and the waitress was very attentive. I highly recommend this restaurant if youre visiting the Poconos , for an enjoyable, memorable dining experience.😀

Atmosphere is nice. Food was very good. Unfortunately our service was not great. We did not get our drinks for at least a half an hour. Salad was very lacking

We visited here while on vacation. We enjoyed most of the food but didnt love the meat ravioli. Our server was nice.

Updating my review since our visit last weekend. Went there on a busy night and had a short 10 to 15 minute wait for a table. Restaurant was about 75% full but several tables were leaving. We were seated with a table of 8 and served our the drinks relatively promptly. We placed our orders and then waited approximately an hour and a 1/2 to get our food. Even bread took 45 mins. to hit the table. Seems excessive even for a busy night and we were not offered an apology, warning or explanation. A group of 3 sat at the bar and were served promptly. They were finished with their meals before ours arrived. I lost my appetite and left, visiting with friends at the campground and had my food wrapped. Very disappointing and food this night was just average. No explanation for this other than understaffed kitchen which on a holiday weekend should be prepared. Normally enjoy it but this was a major turn off and will reconsider coming back after a cool off period. We live close by and frequent the place so we expected better or at least a sorry.

Chicken parmesan was excellent. Next time I will ask for pasta on the side. Too much liquid on plate.Service excellent.

Great food, just a little bit of an odd atmosphere for a normal dinner. Seating is in a very large open dining room -- which would be perfect for weddings. Service was good, and our prime rib was delicious! We plan to go back again the next time we are visiting the area.

The staff was very nice. The food was also good. It wasn’t quite what I expected after friends recommended this place. It is a very casual place to eat but it was enjoyable.

If you never want to see a server then go here! Michelle was amazing!!! Could not have asked for anyone better! We sat down and where not greeted or had our drink order taken for almost a half hour. When she did finally come over and left again she looked at the one other table there and made a very inappropriate sign (a gun to her headabout us when she turned around which is extermely rude! She took both drink orders and food orders all at once. After waiting another half hour no one at the table had a drink not even a water! When we went to leave she started to make our drinks and looked confused as to why we where leaving... and there was only one other table....

Love this place. Michelle is an amazing manager with a warm, friendly, upbeat personality. Very welcoming place with amazing food. My husband and I have tried many different entrees and all were great. Fun place to kick back, relax and meet new people. Coleen

Great Italian food that reminds me of my mother and grandmothers cooking. Even better staff that has great attitude and service. Convenient place to dock and dine.

Ok atmosphere. The bartenders are your waitresses and they share tables so we got forgotten about at times and got doubles of other things at times. Not updated at all- old inside. Decent drink menu for a small place. Nice view of the lake across the street. The food was amazing except for a place that boasts Italian food we were given frozen mozzarella sticks and stale bread. Probably wouldnt go back, but because the food was great, 3 stars

Connie made a fantastic cucumber lime martini and the chef prepared a uniquely delicious Chicken Caprese. Portion sizes were perfect and price was great.. will look forward to our return! Large dining room and nice location on the lake...bring the family!
